will this rig allow you to watch different channels...i have a wally...it has 1 hmdi and two USB plugs...if I rigged this up as you have done, will the 2nd tv be independent with all channels and the guide?
Will this accommodate an HDMI cable up to 50 feet? I currently have a 4 port Splitter and I get intermittent disruptions with my current splitter on my 2nd television from my dish receiver
Had to update my review to say this device really doesn't work. Using this "box" puts an enormous strain on the power of the DISH Wally. After a few minutes, both TVs (monitors) lose their pictures, and it becomes necessary to reboot the receiver. No matter what, after each night, my TV shows "no signal" causing me to have to unplug the HDMI cable from the back of the Wally and re-insert it to bring the signal back to the Wally; same with using only one monitor at a time. It also caused the Wally to seriously overheat where it shuts itself off. I used the power cable that came with the box and it caused the Wally to freeze, making it necessary to reboot once again. In my opinion, this is not worth the money or the trouble. Enjoy the single TV or if you really need two, get another Wally and a Dual Playmaker, but there's an adventure in itself. (tried testing with two different receivers and same problems)
Can anyone help?? I've got this sort of set up, but, the 2 TVs are in a different room so not necessarily both running the same hdmi. However if either 1 of the TVs input source is changed, say to PC or to AV then the output to the other TV goes off. Any ideas???
FORGIVE ME- if this sounds like a stupid question as we're in our 70's and living on Social Security limits cash flow of having two cable boxes... So want to mirror the same show on two tv's BUT what should we set the input setting on TV without the cable box ?
We got the splitter. It only works with a 4’ cord. So what cord do we need to run the cord where it isn’t visible for two tv’s to show the same picture? I have a directional hdmi cable that is 50’ but it won’t work. When it is plugged into a source the splitter shuts down.
I bought a Samsung TV smart TV a couple years ago and I have another TV and I finally got it to work with the same setup but I never was able to get the smart TV to connect to the other TV so I bought a Roku now I have a fire TV smart but I'm still in question whether I'm able to actually connect a smart TV to another TV
This totally did not work for me!!! this the second type of splitter i bought... Waste of time and money!!! i have a directv genie box... If you know why this didn't work please let me know... Its not that difficult to hook up... THANK YOU!!!
The PVR has 1 input that goes directly to the TV. I assume the PVR actually has an output to the TV then?? Can I connect the PVR to 2 TVs with this advertised splitter using 2 HDMI cables to each TV? I'd have to use the same PVR and same remote for both TVs correct?

Now I have new Sky-Q box , no co-axial or extra output > so HDMI/Output splitter must be the only way! ~ Has anyone tried this with the new Sky Q Box? OK , I have a hdmi3 way that I use and works, but is there another way to go to coaxial cable input on other TVs? Because this works if TVs are close together, but I would need very long hdmi(30 to 50 feet) cables which is probably pricey.
I sure am glad I ran into your video first, as you saved me a lot of aggravation...not to mention a monthly cable box fee. But I do have one question, and I'm not sure if it's just coincidence or possibly a service provider issue. I don't have the 2nd set purchased yet, but wanted to prepare the HDMI cable to be ready. (I did test the signal briefly on another set and it appeared great). I have been noticing on the main set in the living room, every now and then, the screen will go black and the audio cuts out for about 5 or 6 seconds. Normally I would guess a loose connection somewhere with these symptoms, but all is tight and secure. If you don't have any suggestions, I noticed Monoprice has a tech support number I may call. Once again, many thanks. Larry

does this work for netflix?
it does
Wait but i have 2 tvs in different rooms and i have no reciever. We use a firestick. How can we show the same thing on both tvs if they are in different rooms. 1 is a older flat screen like 2015 element tv and the other 4k
The idea here is for use in a Fish House with HDMI cables in the walls
what about sound? is it video with now sound?
HDMI carries video and sound
Hey have you found a solution to this? (Instead of just buying a second firestick)
HDMI DA, Crestron HD-DA-2 and an HDMI over fiber cable for long runs or acting veHDMI for moderate runs.
Are the twoTV/monitors able to play different pictures at the same time
No, this is to take one signal to two TV's
Would it work with one firestick?
Will those splitters extend a display on 2 tvs from a windows laptop?
yes it will
Hey,can someone’s help me?! When i connect my laptop to receiver hdmi input and my tv to to receiver hdmi output.. sound is great but on tv appears stripes(red, green blue)... Whats wrong?
I bought an HDMI splitter. I have Spectrum service. I plugged the in line to my cable box and the two out lines to each one of my TVs.
Each TV shows the spectrum cable menu for a few seconds then that screen disappears. This happens on both TVs.
Spectrum must sense a splitter and won't allow it to work?
Might be a DMCA issue. Not sure
will the right product work on a RCN cable box?
What kind of HDMI splitter I should get? I bought a wrong one it's not working.
if you want to go from one source (playstation/dvd player) to two TV's and show the same thing on both tv's, then this one
What's the link to purchase splitter?
Smokey, please forgive me. I received an alert about 4 days ago that you had left a reply to my first comment. I'm 77 and relatively new to computers. I looked everywhere and could not find your reply...if, in fact, you did leave one. If you did, could we try this again? Sorry, but thanks. Larry
