To clarify wires are still needed to connect every device? all thats happening is that shorter hdmi cables are used not long ones, but for every link (e.g. laptop to tv) 2 hdmis are still needed to connect to the extenders? Please help with these answers I am knew to this and want to understand if this is a viable replacement for the issue I am having.
Hi gofanco I have 4 CCTV cameras Hooked up to an NVR and 2 displays. The 1st display is 6 feet away, the 2nd display is 46 feet away. Do I need a power splitter or is a regular non powered splitter ok.??
@@themadone915 What HDMI splitters are you using? This is similar to what I'm looking to do, or I could use HDMI/Cat6 extenders as I have Cat6 run to each of my TV's.
@@TheRealJRC I am just using a basic 4to1 hdmi repeater as I just need the same stream. I did read up on using cat6/hdmi dongle which I strayed away from but I forgot why. Depending on your distance splicing your own cat6 cables to hdmi would be best for longer than 25ft distances.
Will this work on pc laptops with hdmi outs? I'm having problems with 2 video projectors having jumping screens and latency issues. When I use programs like power point and videos, one of the projectors jumps resolution or something. Also can I clone and extend these screens from pc?
Hi Rich, Yes, you can use PC laptops as the HDMI source and you will only be able to clone (mirror) the screen of your PC to the 4 connected displays. There is no extended mode capability as it is a splitter. Best, gofanco
gofanco so, is there a product you offer that will show the extended display of a laptop to a couple of mirrored/looping tv screens? Asking as a church that has only one laptop to do presentation AND streaming therefore, mirroring the laptops screen would not work for su because we would end up either showing the working station or not able to work on anything as we show the display.
I like how the words "extend" and "split" are being using interchangeably by this manufacturer to deceive customers. Extending the display isn't the same as splitting the video signal. This device doesn't Extend the viewport to several other tv or monitors.

So I was just wondering, can you watch different channels on different TV's? Can you play games while someone else watch TV on the Xbox one or PS4 connected to the splitter?
How can I send only one video signal, for example using one HDMI cable from my PC to 4 TV Screens setup. I want to watch only one Full Screen of that video signal on those 4 TV Screens together and not individually. I mean, I want that they four can show one only screen together? What devices should I use for that? I need your help on this. Although my PC supports output for 4 video signals, I need to do this setup using only one HDMI video cable from my pc. Thank you!
@José Rodríguez, this is also my question. Being looking for the device model that can send video signal from one computer to 4 TVs, and all 4tvs display one signal. Please should you find the device that can do this, kindly email me qaconsultsl@gmail.com
Hi Jose, I believe what you are asking is that you want to be able to use 4 TV screens in extended display mode and at a distance. You want to be able to drag content across screens as if the 4 TVs were one big screen, am I correct? We may have a solution for you if that's the case.

In to the receiver…..?
Does not work that way……..

Looks like there is some latency between the different tvs.
Is there a way to have them synced?
Any plans for HDMI 2.1 FOR 4K@120hz?
Man that's 48gbps raw I don't think there is a network that supports that kind of bamdwith even 1.4 is 10gbps this thing probably compresses the video
You can similar crap on eBay from China that does the same for less then $10 your $200 price is ridiculous lmao
