- Welcome back Odd Flock!
Oh these dreaded paper strips - it seems like they are indestructible doesn't it!? Well today we are taking on that challenge! I wanted to get this all into one video, but we haven't been defeated yet! The battle will continue in part two. But for now, I hope you enjoy this video and get to clear up your stash a little!

I love watching you create! You rock April!✌️
Thank you so much! That really means a lot to me! ❤️
Thank you for sharing your lovely ideas!
I think it's more that I'd rather have an unedited "craft with me" video than have you all stressed about editing the videos. But i definitely get not having enough space for a 3 hour craft session 😂
😂 😂 😂 I know! Feels like maybe I could go live instead. Maybe one of these times I will! ❤️ Thank youuuuu 🫶🏽
wow, sure beats watching boring TV, plus, I learned something, thanks 4 sharing this w / us .
I am really enjoying this April. Thank you so much for sharing.
This was a good one dude! Glad to see some great ideas to conquer those dang paper strips we can't ever get rid of
Ugh tell me about it! Thank you so much P! ❤️
With the last set of journals I made, I used the strips to make a master board and cut it up to make a couple journaling cards that matched the journals. The strips that were wide enough got turned into a little scrappy pad to go in the journals. I also used some white strips to make faux washi of sorts to use in my personal journal. Belly bands, cutting decorative edges and tags are all fab ideas. I want more border punches to decorate page edges. Thanx for the ideas!
So many great ideas to help use up what feels like a bottomless pit of scraps!! ❤
You said it perfectly! Bottomless pit! 😩😩Thank you so much!
I've recently discovered a way to keep my paper strips in check: I include almost all of the off-cuts from making a journal into a handmade envelope inside the journal itself. I get rid of the strips/off-cuts and give the journal recipient a bunch of options to add their own spin to the journal using matching paper at the same time. I use the white pieces to make Frankenpaper which is good for backing cards/tags. Love your idea of decorative scissoring the edges, too. (That black/yellow tag you made near the end screams 'bee journal' to me.)
OooooOoooOo yes! That's such a great idea! Because you never know how somebody else might use the same strips but in a different way. And it matches with the theme of the book exactly so yes that is a perfect idea thank you for sharing that tip to everyone! ❤️
I enjoyed watching you tear into your pile of scraps...though to be perfectly honest, it didn't seem that big a pile. I'd be happy if I only had that many to deal with. lol This really is back-to-basics ---a great reminder of that. Hazel

❤️❤️❤️
Lol, Inundated! Paper has an atomic half-life....the scraps never go away....the scraps leave scraps.
Money says it's a Dodge...
😂 😂 😂 I hope so, haha that's my jam!
