They both are insanely talented (Mos def is an amazing actor as well as a musician), sadly only one gets to still show us the talent live. She was so close to beating her demons. I loved her from the first time I heard You Know I'm No Good which led to me discovering the rest of her work. She will always be a legend for her brief time.

Well I never get tired of saying something about Amy. She was a genius! She wrote almost every song she did first of all. Second she started young she knew what she wanted and that she had the talent. And thats putting it mild. As I have said before people who have it all and are determined to make her music! I truly admired & respected the talent of Amy Winehouse........I really did. As for myself, personally......the DEFINITE saddest part of her untimely passing is the mere thought of what the world of music truly lost.......WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN.....had not the demons of Drugs & Alcohol become such a major part of her existence. She was UNIQUELY gifted......the kind of gift that is most noticeable when it's gone.
