Jeep Dies At The Worst Time! Deep Snow Recovery
Вставка
- Опубліковано 22 січ 2023
- In this video, we document the incredible recovery mission of Bruce's broken down Jeep Wrangler. Stranded on a snowy mountain road, unable to move due to mechanical failure, options are limited. But our team of expert off-roaders were up for the challenge. With the help of specialized equipment, including winches and tow straps, we set out to recover Bruce's Jeep. The journey was not easy, as the heavy snow and steep terrain made for dangerous conditions. But with skill and determination, we were able to successfully drag the Jeep down the mountain and back to safety.

Love the new logo!!! ✌🏻
@@RobertSmith-lw2bx I like the old one, oh well.
I usually start to watch it on patreon then watch the whole thing on UA-cam.
@@leemen I get the email notifications, watch the first part and then end up watching later on, usually after dinner. With some cold beers!
This group is Gold !!
They did a Self Recovery from super difficult conditions and were chill. Love it !!
Thanks!
I don't know about you, but when stuff gets REAL I go calm and am hyper-focused. It's a problem, and I'm going to solve it. One of the few times in life that all the gears in my brain start running smooth as F.
"try going forward" are words to live by.
Appreciate that you show the bads and uglies of going out wheeling - shows that you've got to be prepared and willing to make it work!
Thanks! I think when things go wrong and we have to improvise, that’s when the adventure really gets started. 👍🏻
I try to keep it comical, much like Bruce.
Great vid guys! I have saved a few people's lives that were stranded in the bush one family was stuck for 3 days and was glad to see me. Got them out and escorted them back to the road.
Good work 👍🏻
Nice work.
Safe to say you guys most likely saved that guys life. Well stated. We don't have that type of snow here in the southeast USA, but this type of content really shows how awesome our jeep community is. Great work again. Thanks from jeepNdirt.
This is why I love this community! All for 1 and 1 for all!!
Ansolutely
I have no idea why you don't have millions of subscribers! Your videography is absolutely spot on! Great work!! Got me hooked!
Wow, thank you!
Nice! Literally my backyard. Can get there with less then 2km on pavement!
I'm happy you finally got out here to Kelowna to wheel with Bruce. You can learn a lot from him in how to wheel deep bottomless snow. One thing to keep in the survival kit is to have a HOSE CONNECTOR for every size of hose on your vehicle then some hose clamps to match and some fluid you are back on the road and out of the bush. Great film and drone work Shawn , really captured the moment. That Belgo dam route is awesome round trip route if you get all the away thru. CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h.
I’ve started bringing snowshoes when I go snow wheeling!
I’m going to too
Awesome job Shaun
This was the most incredible recovery I have seen. That's a tough break for Bruce. Hope to see that Jeep back on the road soon
Already fixed. Easy peasy 👍🏻
@@BruceCookfmx That's awesome to hear! Hope to see more videos with you guys! Cheers
@@BruceCookfmx Gold to hear ❤️
Finally a Kelowna video!
On the trail failure always sucks. Not being able to fix it sucks worse. Being with friends makes it all ok.
That looked like a lot of work, but good on you all for teaming up to get out!
Thanks 👍
Damn, brother. One of your best videos. This was awesome.
Awesome video that shows the good, the bad and the ugly of snow wheeling. I got cold just watching it!
Nice work!
2 steps forward, 3 steps back. Great video.
Still Jealous. Love that 426 sound. 🎶. Fun video
Wow..this was like a PSA video for..THESE ARE THE REASONS YOU DONT WHEEL ALONE!! Great job guys..that was no joke.
If everything went smoothly, what the hell fun would that be? Part of the fun is tackling the challenges that life throws your way when you're on the trail (or not).
Man, what an adventure! So... The person who cut the trail only wide enough for his ATV is probably the guy you guys rescued 😄
Yay!
Great video! Extreme teamwork! Lucky ass quad guy!
I think he said "that's true I'm lucky" but "I'm lightning" cracked me up lol
That could be it. I honestly couldn’t make out what he said 😂
A bit of a pain, but looked like a good time with good people!
Glad to see your lockers working!
Great video! So glad I found this channel recently. Loved the attitudes of all involved. Doesn’t always go as planned. Being properly prepared and having good spirits got everyone home. Good times!
Awesome! Thank you!
Attitude is always the difference between a bad day and a great day. 👍🏻
You have the best music in your videos! Great job, always an amazing adventure with you guys!
Sean it's good to see you got the lockers working again brother, keep the snow wheel in videos coming the best part about snow wheeling is the getting stock and recovering part blowing transmissions and blowing motors and things breaking that's the oh s*** not so fun part!! Keep the videos coming brother look forward to them every Monday!!
Great video! Having the right equipment when off-roading is a must good job guys👍
honestly, you may very well have saved that dude's life.
I'm sure that was a life saving encounter.
Now that was a “Epic” adventure and a winter video we love watching from you. I’m totally jealous, our Ontario winter has been a joke, it keeps melting away, no snow to play in.
Thank you, John!
Epic rescue - buddy- support - exfil, nice work!
Bro this was EPIC !
Awesome video, Shaun! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Another great video om this awesome channel. Thanks for sharing. Shows good teamwork and team sprit in the group. Good that you brought the Jeep back safely. Keep on snow wheeling, it´s awesome.
Thanks 👍
As always great show and I thank you for bringing me along in hoodie form 😅☝️💪🏻the snow is just so peaceful
Glad you noticed haha
This is a perfect example of why you go out with "Friends".
Holy hell, Bruce is awesome… wish he brought the Chevy!
I think it would be an interesting collab with DDE to see what their H1 can handle on your trips, but I’m not sure it’ll hang with those Jeeps! Lol
Would love to find out 👍🏻
Awesome team work
HAHAH Glad that camera didn't fall in the snow at 6:59 :)
Love these vids! I used to snowmobile when I was younger, but this is much cooler! Thanks!😊
Another great vid, cheers
"hi5, namaste" incredible video buddy!
Awesome video. Sorry that happened to the jeep. But what an adventure! Love snow wheeling. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great episode !
Sean all they need to do is put a snow plow in front of your trail destroyer and you could just be a plow seriously look at that thing with your locker's fixed what a beast you were in snow as high as your front bumper and you are just plowing it like a snow plow no problem!! V8 power is a must that's for sure..
Good times had by all...
What a hell of a adventure!!! Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦🇨🇦👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Шикарные места и съемка очень хорошая!
Sometimes you don’t get to choose your flavor of adventure
Blew a transmission seal on a solo day trip, up a logging road.
Walked 23 km in slush n mud before getting a ride back to tge closest town. NOT fun. The wolves, the wet slush, the heal blisters; worst of all worried family.
The buddy system works
This is the story till now!
Awesome fun guys. Fantastic shots from the drone! Love watching your videos so keep them coming. Greetings from Las Vegas, NV.
Awesome!
Thanks!
Never met Bruce when he came to GF Strong to visit one of the other patients. Seems like a positive guy, if you guys do Kluskoil Ive got a property on Yimpakluk you guys can use it as a jump off point. Im in a chair also since 2015. Ive got a lot of stories from that area. Including Dead Red lol
Very cool! Hopefully I can hear those stories sometime. 👍🏻
The waist deep snow.. memories of Squamish, lol
Best Overlanding stories!
Good stuff guys
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice save of a hell trip
Another great video ! I cant believe how deep that snow is! ⛄️. Also, a great Recovery of that quad runner.... i hope that guy was very grateful to yall ?
VERY!!
Awsome adventure !!!
Great video, even the great Bruce needs help sometimes. Bruce has helped out so many others and is one of the most inspiring guys out there. 250OFFROAD would love to join alone next time as I’m based in Kelowna as well.
Awesome video!! 👏👏 heck of an adventure!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another great video and awesome teamwork getting out at the end of the day. Hopefully the Quad guy gave you a few cold ones!
He was to busy warming up, and getting home. We were just happy to help.
Awesome 🤘🤘🤘
OMG!! You're crazy pal!!¡
First time viewer and I must say, the cinematography here is top notch! Excellent trail recovery as well!
Thank you very much!
Feel free to check ALL other videos, you will be blown by the quality, entertainment, scenery, videography... Shaun is great on all of those!
Brutal, but as always one hell of a video.
Just got my "The Story Till Now" hoodie in the mail, love it! The wife is already jealous lol.
Thanks for the support!
@@TheStoryTillNow Absolutely. Deliver better quality content then majority of Netflix shows for free!
wow I wouldn't wish that failure on anyone's ride but it sure as heck makes a great story. Keep up the great work!
Thanks!
That looked like a brutal and miserable recovery. Well done dude.
Went just like planned. Could have been a lot worse
@@BruceCookfmx 🤣 But also true...could have been worse.
Absolute scary situation. So typical people would I know would not be prepared to camp out conditions where you’re and that’s why you should always go with people that have very capable rigs… plus talent
Hey guys.
I just subscribed to your channel.
You may not read my comment but in case you do I want to tell you that you are one of my favorite Channel to watch.
The editing is amazing, professional.
I don't personally know you but I appreciate the level of professionalism.
I own a rubicon with extreme recon package.
Nothing close to your rigs.
I live in las vegas and had completed one of many trails here named rocky gap rated a 7 .
Keep up the good work
You should visit here sometime.
Many trails nearby, including toquerville falls and sandhollow utah only 2 hours away
Awesome, thank you!
Hey Shaun,
You are not that far from me down here in Kettle Falls. Wa.
I hope you are on your way down to the states. Great videos! Just found your channel.
Here’s to the next adventures. Cheers
Thanks for watching!
Yall wanted to do some snow wheeling well there ya go lol
Great video .. looks fun bit learned my lesson long time ago blew the transmission in my xterra snow wheeling in upstate New york close to 3 grand later I will never snow wheel again . Good luck .
It seems to me, that if your snow wheeling, it might be a good idea to add snowshoes to your recovery gear.
;)
LOL
Great video. Shows how important it is to travel with friends and help for recovery.
Actually something I’m thinking about.
I’m surprised Shawn doesn’t have them. I have a set but have not used them yet!
Great vid. 😎
I had two pairs. We just didn’t have much time
@@TheStoryTillNow
I also noticed no one was using chains.
Is that just not as fun for you guys, or a weight management thing?
I got stuck on a pretty snowy/icy spot when hunting before, and my chains saved my day. My buddies where about 50km away, it would've taken quite a while for help to arrive. LOL
Anyhow, just curous, looked like a long day for you!
Nice! Really shows the value of going with buddies and having gear to recover!! #JTRSPARTACUS
Freakin Sweet!!!
Good video editing, music....all in all great work! You have new sub!
Thank you!
@@TheStoryTillNowwhat song is that at the end?
Nice video
Excuse my language butt that gladiator fukn putting in work. Sounds so good locked in when you stand on it .
Definitely puts a grin on my face :)
sweet!
Holy cow 🐄 😳
Canadians are nice people. No joke ❤
After watching this, I will be adding some assorted hoses to my spare parts that I normally carry with me. Simply cutting that transmission cooler line in half and adding a piece of rubber hose with two hose clamps would’ve gotten that jeep back on the road!
We had too big and too small but now we have in between sizes too 😅
Awesome
I’ve been watching you for a while now, I find that the general atmosphere of the snow videos are different than the deep rainy valley ones.
Really like the videos
Thanks
Won’t be the last. Shaun has too much fun with us
Awsome 😊
Surprised built jeep without skid plates. That’s the first upgrade I do. And would keep snow out
👋🙂That was quite a challenging adventure, and with this vlog, it will definitely serve value to someone that may find themselves one day in the same predicament.
👍💯👍💯👍💯
KUDOS to you all for saving that man's life, seriously 👏👏💯🙂GOOD DEEDS
I guess it's time for that snow plow attachment to take shape!
Wet heavy snow is brutal, it is really easy to over heat your rig in those conditions.
In this case, the snowpack pushed the trans cooler line into the pulley repeatedly, until it was through.
Great video, love the drone following shots!! what drone do you film with??
Oh man, trail breakdowns are the worst.
7 years ago I snapped my leaf spring hanger right off the frame in the bush. We came up with a solution to use a come along to hold the axel in place. Drove 45 minutes down the highway like that at 2 am 😅
We’ve done it a few times as well. We both keep ratchet straps just for breakdowns.
@After The Rescue BC being ready for the unknown is key
Time to add a pair of snow shoes to the winter recovery gear bag lol
You are not wrong :)
It was really good that you could even get that Jeep to free wheel. If it had been locked in gear....Towing it out in reverse!!!!
