Even the neutered EP3's we got in the US are great to drive. I own one and very versatile from stance, to NA, swaps, to boost. Great platform for mods and still cheap enough to convince your partner for a project
Bought one of these for daily use and to my surprise it's one of the best cars I've ever owned in a long list of many modified cars. Bloody impressive little pocket rockets
I've had mine as a daily for 3 years, I know I should sell it to make a profit, but I can't bare to be without it! It drives like a rally car on the roads, pissing with rain it just grips endlessly, and I've owned a lot of cars, I'm old!
This car is so well built and lightweight that even the builder made sure to lose as much boby weight as possible by looking like a lollipop to keep the spirit of this car alive. Magnificent.
Yes roe jogan there like a go cart on the street i like 200 horsepower in a honda because all these people like 500 horsepower and they never get traction but with a all natural honda so much funner to drive then a high horsepower mustang or something
usable power is much more fun than unusable power on the street. I used to own a lightly tuned 1JZ and foot on the pedal for more than 2 seconds was a guaranteed speeding ticket lol
Little known fact: All EP3 Type R's (JDM/EUDM) were built in the UK (not Japan) before being shipped and sold in their respective countries. So ironically if you import a JDM EP3 (K20A) to the UK, it's not actually the first time that car has seen British soil. 😂
Does the JDM ep3 only come in white or any other colours?. Cause I've only seen them in white but recently browsing on the jdm car sites I saw red and black ones with the k20a motor red seats and the union jack at the back.
Also white was not available in the UK….so anyone importing one wants a white one as it’s such a rare sight here. So if you search JDM EP3 lots of the results will be ones imported to uk.
For anyone who doesn’t know this car is only running 220hp so it’s pretty mild in terms of power level, these cars in the Uk with a few “bolt ons” can achieve 250 to 260hp 😬
@@3.2mviews10 they may be slow but I believe the UK EP3 has the k20a2 instead of the k20a. Difference between them is the k20a japanese spec has higher compression ratio, better intake manifold, Limited slip diff, etc. But these are mods you can do to the UK spec ep3 to get at least 250hp to the crank without a turbo or supercharger
@@vxsr33 did he specifically say it's 220whp? 220bhp is about right for a K20 with basic bolt-ons without a tune, which is about 190whp. 255-265bhp is achievable with all possible bolt-ons (full exhaust, high-flow intake, inlet), drop-in cams and a tune, which is around 230whp.
Smog regulations and most people look for economy and not shell out 30k for a Honda. Nowadays they do with the type r, Evo’s. Sti’s you name it. When this car came out it was the last hatch and the least sought after. It was like the bastard all of Honda’s 🤣 I still have one and it feels good to know that you don’t really see them everywhere.
@@_Professor_Oak sorry didn’t mean to hurt your feelings, and I’m not talking about ep3 back then I’m talking about recent models. Please learn how to comprehend when reading and then comment back. 🤦🏻♂️
The one in the video is JDM, JDM has nothing to do with where the car was manufactured, and everything to do with the intended market for the car to be sold in
The ones that were built for Japan were obviously JDM (K20A, lsd etc.) compared to the UK/EU versions that had the K20A2 and no LSD. Albeit they were all built in the UK.

Don't sell it! You'll never forgive yourself. Coming from another old guy who has loved and lost hondas.
All jdm and ukdm ep3’s have a great k20 from standard uk k20a2 jdm k20a both great fun engines
These are honestly so much fun especially the models with the lsd, just grips soooo well

We have a less cool version, 7th gen civic si.
Can't wait for summer to get mine back out!!

Thank you for rise up the price on EP3😏
Great to see you guys laughing and having fun.
I ❤️ Ep3 super model🇯🇵
we need a car collection video!
These things especially the JDM ones are going up to the prices they were when they were new

It's also the 2nd time the JDM engines have come over as they came from Japan to be fitted

Ed's my guy by just saying he will prefer B series ♡
Have you don’t a review on fn2??

Jdm came in White, Red and Black but a huge percentage were white which is why it's almost all you see

What gauges are those?🤔🤔
I do believe they are mugen😁😁
B series over K series? Eddie, cool car and all but I’m finna have to stop you right there, bruh.
Crz and prelude
need another euro r vid
Wow Civboss
DAMN what are they worth nowadays?

Yes but that is 220 wheel hp. UK calculates power as engine hp, which is going to be much higher.

UK rate power figures as bhp that is calculated at the crank, in Australia we go off whp which measured to the tyres

😍😍👍👍

@@_Professor_Oak reading comprehension do you know about it? I meant type r’s and the others that’s what they go for.
@@QuiK075 no need to be rude. 16k was the price tag for a new EP3 Type R, nowhere near 30k, that's all I'm saying.
