This is true. Not just any Father figure but a dominant one. I grew up without my African Father just like a lot of African American families. It’s very common in Africa too. Fathers just opt out of their responsibilities. Thank God for introducing us to dominant strong Grandfathers. It definitely helped knowing and having you as Grand daddy. My Dad is alive and living but dead and gone to me. I sometimes mourn for his death. I will never meet him. It’s not like I didn’t try. I buried him in my head. RIP to that man.

Yes we shouldn't be killing each other but both issues are completely separate and not intertwined. The issue with saying that "most cops are good cops" is that we've seen many "good cops" not speak out when witnessing horrendous acts and unfortunately that makes them no better that the cop than murdered George Floyd. Once I see cops begin to speak out against their co workers than we can start having conversations on other issues.

Courage: Each person's journey is as unique as their fingerprint. Lil' Wayne is a person who was physically, emotionally and psychologically abused by other Black people to the point of suicide at 12. All white cops aren’t bad. White cops have saved and protected many black lives including Lil Wayne’s. If it wasn’t for white cops policing our black communities, our communities would be in even worse shape than they already are. Police officers are not a problem in the black community, black people are the problem in the black community. For every story like george floyd, there are dozens and hundreds of stories about black people killing other black people for no reason. The numbers show that black people do more harm to each other than white people do and until we deal with that issue we aren’t going to move forward.

FREDDY GEE but YOURE NOT TELLING THE FULL STORY EITHER. Anderson violated an protective order to stay away from his baby mama. Anderson didn’t get shot and killed, and There’s evidence of him destroying police property. Are you telling about the statements uncle bob made? He’s was mad at this criminal because he wasn’t even trying to follow the law. Uncle bob was big on giving black dudes chance after chance after chance, I’m black, and can appreciate that realness. If a person is wrong, their wrong. Let me ask you this, what if Anderson baby mama was your sister, loved one, friend and violated the law ? Would he deserve what uncle bob did to him then? Us blacks need to stop being so shallow of thinkers.
I’m black, grew up in the hood(Cabrini green Chicago), and i totally disagree with you. He is only speaking the truth, telling his story. Everyone wants to be mad because of what the media, the leftist propagated, not blacks with this terrible video slaying of George Floyd. Everyone is mad, wants to be heard by the white man, but the solutions we are coming up with will not stop these killings. We have blacks who are rich on high platforms with big voices telling the black communities that it’s ok if you feel like looting and rioting, and then they go back home to their mansions. At the same time, not one “big voice” of color got on the media and urged black people to stop the rioting, not thinking about long term continued negative consequences of these actions. Now, more black communities are destroyed even more than they were before. Tell me, where do these same looter and rioters go to get simple essentials for the homes they live in(grandma, mom, etc)? Either across town to the non-black communities where they would face the possibility of another case of either police brutality or racial profiling by another cop or citizen, or, stay in their hoods and go to the one or 2 stores that have managed to stay open, but are on rival gang/drug dealers territory, facing violence and becoming another statistic amongst our own communities. This is what is going to happen in this summer in the black communities across America. An increase of what is already increased in violence. Everyone is marching and protesting, but no one is urging the non blacks to come to our communities and stand up, letting those who are and have been oppressed know that they are here and are fighting. The blacks and the nonblacks are protesting on their turfs. I understand doing it in downtown areas and capitol hills, lawmakers work, but don’t we have an obligation to serve in our communities as well? Non blacks are out protesting, but they won’t trade places for a day with a true, oppressed black. Good actors have to “get into character “ to actually play a role of a persons life. The non blacks won’t even come close to knowing what they are protesting until they at least try to really see what it’s like to be oppressed, even for a day. The vast majority of protesters are urging defunding of the police in which either Trump nor Biden will support. But no one is talking about the plethora of sections of the civil rights act laws that have expired over the last 10-15 years per state across America. These same rights that our forefathers gave their lives in fighting so we can have certain freedoms. So black people arent educating black people, and this is causing an implosion to our communities from within. There many other issues and I can go and speak all day on these. Christ is the answer, and most blacks have fallen away from this first. Our forefathers did nothing without having God and prayer as the foundation of all they accomplished. And they have physically witnessed far more than we have, even today. Fire hoses, lynching, assaults and rapes to black women by white men and cops, this happened on damn near a daily basis in their day and yet they managed to still keep aGod first. Nowadays, we benefit from many of the barriers they’ve broken and we see some negative things happen, and we are now too mad and too tired to pray and talk to God about being the avenger. How do we underway many blacks of age have survived this long, even in the oppressed black communities? Us blacks really need to be careful in what we are demanding the system to give us, especially if we don’t know and understand the system. It’s funny that a cop(good cop) would have to get into the streets and do certain things to catch the big drug dealer, but we aren’t willing to learn the system to take down the system. It’s not going to “just happen” because we are raising our voices. Guarantee that if we only march and raise our voices, Thea senseless killings will still occur, because we aren’t getting deep enough in the system, and those in the dust know this and will not being for the the steps necessary to reform or renew certain laws, because they really don’t want to. This all is a setup to get blacks mad, and as a whole, we are falling for it. Lil Wayne said it, it’s an image of whites marching,,,they are going home to their privileged homes at night, while we stay living night after night being oppressed. Their mad because they saw one video. That means they have turned their backs on all of the other videos for years. They just want to come outside to get some fresh air after being locked down, and we are out there standing with them when they haven’t proved themselves to us. Let’s face it, why do us blacks always have to prove ourselves to them???

@Michgain Wolfs no I’m a descendant of Irish indentured servants, nice try though. Not sure why “where they get them” is relevant. Accountability needs to be enforced in every community, but especially the AA community. People like you need to stop making excuses.

lil Wayne is actually smarter than you think. I remember in high school or middle school he was in an interview where the media was trying to force lil Wayne into identifying himself as a member of BLM and he didn’t want to be associated with them. It’s because he worries about himself and he wants to improve himself. It’s actually not racism and black oppression, but it is the system and a money thing. Growing up in poverty, it’s different. lil Wayne is very smart, most brutality happens in poverty, which there isn’t as much police brutality as you think.
