I've only bought four carts this year with the highlights being Piko 4 & Thalamus Collections. Will probably pick up the three Arcade Carts soon to be released. Blaze get a generous C minus from me with a "must do better" footnote. Keep up the awesome work!
I agree, I'd like to see some bigger titles. I'm hoping that more hardware variety will grow the user base, but the delays aren't the way to win over new users. Game On! 🤘🤘
Evercade is a great concept. If only they can obtain more licenses plus providing more carts each year !!! Blaze is just way too slow bringing out decent carts !! Part of the problem -- getting licenses !!! The major game developers gobbled up all the great licenses !!

Amazon mi ha mandato i due poket in un solo pacco grande,dove ci stava technos che mi sembrava non del tutto sigillato lo aperto funziona e ci sta tutto, mentre Atari e' arrivato solo lo scatolo senza niente dentro,non ci posso credere mi stava per venire un infarto,non per i 60 euro spesi ma perché non mi era mai capitata una cosa del genere con Amazon. Adesso devo fare il reso che e' una procedura che non ho mai eseguito prima. Speriamo si muovano a capire chi mi ha fregato il mio Atari. Ladri uguale infami.

Just starting the video. I wasn't thrilled with last year and would probably give Blaze a C+ (benefiting from some of the end of year carts like Demons of Asteborg) and for this year, ehh, maybe a C-. Not impressed by the hardware, not impressed by the price of the Alpha and definitely not impressed by all the delays and setbacks. I'm hoping next year they actually live up to their word and focus on more games and licenses.

The delays even though it sucked it didn't bother me as I have a ton of games still to play. The first half was a D but they ended with a bang so second half was a B. C overall. Hopefully they can get the Konami's, SNK's of the world but also maybe a Star Wars license with the SNES versions and maybe soften Taito and Capcom up to give us carts.
yeah I'm really hoping next year as they focus on games a part of that is convincing Taito and Capcom to put some games on carts and I'm also hoping they'll get Namco to release an arcade cart along with getting some new licenses and agreements.
For me no cart this year so far his tipped my interest, it's cool getting N64 but Glover is a mid-tier common title. For N64 you want to see something more quirky and overlooked. Like Iggy's Wrecking Balls, Snowboard Kids, Space Station Silicon Valley, Mischief Makers, Mystical Ninja. Any of those would be interesting. But, and this is the thing, though I have huge nostalgia for C64 I don't want to go back and play one fire button games unless they're quick simple old arcade games. Only one game has peaked by interest, the first Legacy of Kain. I have never owned it, I own the next 2 but not the first and I never got around to playing Le.oK1&2, if I'd realised they were Silicon Knights games(Kane is being voiced by the same actor that plays the main antagonist in Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, one of my most favourite games from the Cube) I'd have been on it years ago like a flash. What I don't get is why they don't start a classics indies line of carts, put the first 3 Trine games on a cart, Cave Story, Braid, Horace, Inside, Limbo, The Messenger, World of Goo. There's a metric tonne of these older gems that I'm sure some folk would like on a reasonably priced physical medium. And I picked games that have been given away, I got all these free on Epic so I know their devs do deals with distributors.
@@darthwiizius, Toaplan Arcade 3 is honestly the only cart I’ve been excited for this year. Toaplan 4 doesn’t look bad (at least 2 of the games anyway). But the Dual game cart looks pretty good. I’m with you on your game suggestions. I feel Blaze needs to be more aggressive and make a deal.
@@GameFreak1976 Yeah, I think they're struggling to cope with demand in all areas. I'm not sure their OG business plan took into account the ravenous appetite gamers have for physical games. They might need to find a partner to help them scale up a bit. If an SNK Super Pocket comes out I'm 100% buying it, c'mon Blaze, take my money dammit! Keep on trucking G!

I totally agree man. I haven't been too pleased with the carts this year. Bitmap 2 was kind of a letdown for me, but I took a chance on that one.

Flea 2 is the best game of the month this year but since I beat it I probably won’t buy Indy heroes 4
