Great video! I'm very, very new to the Blythe world and your videos have been so helpful, as I've just ordered my first dolls to customize (a fake neo and an authentic petite). I've also ordered your eye chips and can't wait to use them! I was wondering if you might be able to give me some advice: The petite that I purchased is in used condition and has a pretty severe crack in one leg. Do you have any recommendations for repairing cracks or replacing petite legs? If repair/replacement isn't an option, do you think putting on a fake body would undermine the entire point of an "authentic" custom? Any thoughts you have are appreciated!
Hi there thanks for the comment and watching my vids. Welcome to Blythe! I don't have a ton of experience with repairing bodies but I would just change it out to a fake body. In general I don't think many care so much about the body on the doll as long as the base of the face is authentic (if that's their thing). I think you'll be fine just replacing the whole thing otherwise you risk buying a new body just for the leg. ;)
This might be a long shot but
I was wondering what size eye chips take bylthe dolls
14mm
