Great video, thanks for the straightforward instruction! I followed your exact setup except used my iPhone instead of an iPad. 2 things worth noting for others - I needed an Apple adaptor with the lightning port AND usb port bc otherwise the phone doesn’t provide enough power to the audio interface; the lightning port enables you to keep your phone charged. Secondly, when I streamed, listeners were only hearing music from the left earbud/speaker. I think it’s bc I only had the left output on my mixer connected to the audio interface. Not sure if you were having the same issues with your setup. I’m going to try getting a y cable with both left and right rca outputs and hopefully that will solve the issue.
Thanks for making these points 💯 hope others read and learn from it! Interesting that the phone only played from the left. I never had anyone mention that was an issue but I bet it was and no one was using headphones maybe at the time. I live-streamed the most during COVID when lots of people were listening on IG live. Great feedback 🙏🏾
If your dj software is outputting a stereo signal (2 channels, Left and Right) and you only use the left output from your dj mixer or controller…people will only hear the left channel. The same applies if only using the right channel. In a situation when for some reason you only have 1 cable, you could output a mono signal (left and right combined into 1 single channel)….but then you’d have to also make sure that your audio interface is outputting mono as well.
Hey, do you know if you can use the Behringer interface with a DJ controller and an Android phone, similar to how you would with an iRig Stream? I personally believe that the Behringer offers superior sound quality.
Any advice , bass getting distorted on Irig2 aa. Irig solo stream Se. When live on TikTok. Seems like I’m having to almost cut my bass almost off 🤦🏻♂️. No matter the gain. Any quick advice , settings ? 3rd party apps ? Etc ??? Thx 🙏
Sorry man, no quick advice on this one. I would imagine it’s the device causing the distortion. Is there any way you can EQ on the irig2? Not familiar with the irig
I think the best way to avoid it is not playing songs that have copyrights for too long. And try to add effects like a flanger or phaser or even reverb randomly so the song has less of a chance to get detected!
Best straight forward advice iv found, much more to the point than any other vids on here. Top work 👌🏻
Much appreciated!! Glad I could help 💯💯

@@resleone6609 I will try tweaking the strereo/mono output setting in my software to see if that does the trick! Thanks!

I’m not 100% sure but I don’t see why not!
Why are you running MONO sound when you have the ability to output STEREO sound from both the S9 and the audio interface?
No particular reason. Wasn’t thinking about it at the time of this video.
Hey my man.........do they have an Android version to plug in to the phone I've been trying to find something for a Galaxy Note 20 ultra
Yo! I would think there’s a cord to be able to do the same set up with android but I’m not 100% sure, sorry.
How do you go about a microphone to this set up so that you can interact with the viewers? Would a USB microphone deliver output with this setup?
When I used a microphone, I connected it directly to the S9/mixer and it worked perfectly.
i'd go with an sm58 or similar dynamic mic straight into ur controller/mixer
is the audio interface absolutely necessary? Couldn't you just run RCA out from the controller into a 1/8" stereo to lighting adapter?
How would you run the RCA from the computer?

How do you avoid getting shut down on ig when going live ?

how do you live stream without copywrite blocking
It’s tough these days. You can try to get around it by adding effects to songs or speeding up/slowing songs down. But either way, it’s tough!
What about the video? Do you do video livestream
In this case, you’d be using your phone to livestream the video!
