A lot of people don't understand how hard it is to find a good vet for your pet birds and fish. I've had to extensively search for one various times. Small pets are difficult to treat due to such minute measurements. I did find one who cared enough to help me care for my parakeet ❤️. I've also searched over an entire state to finally find a DNR fish hatchery specialist to help me with my aquarium fish. Sometimes guide books aren't enough. Thank you Bondi for all you do!
I 100% agree that I rescue neglect parrots. And it's very hard to have avian or vet for bird
I agree as well! I don't trust everyone with my parrot babies. My special needs BFA has to get his beak trimmed about every 4/5 months. Our traveling avian vet knocks them out with gas. He can't groom himself or eat like normal parrots because he has a form of lockjaw and several other problems. They are so less stressed. I know that he is downsizing his business but will continue with our area for now. He's been talking about retirement. This terrifies me because other veterinarians will not knock them out, and that stresses them out(and me) for several days.😪
It does annoy me that people take on pets and do not even bother to check what food is correct for them and how to handle them properly. These are basic things that owners should make themselves aware of because they are important to the health of animals/birds and can prevent suffering
😮Walley scared me!😂 I am so very happy that she is back normal and learned something new about parrots. I have 2, a CAG 26 y/o and a special needs BFA 25 y/o, both are males. Never feed human food. ❤
Thank you so much for performing that surgery! .
Thank you for saving vally ❤❤❤
Not Evan a chip is good especially considering what she’s been through.

I HAVE AN
AFRICAN GREY PARROT
SHE IS BOUT 6
YEARS OLD
Gorgeous birds those are. I'd love to share my home with an African Gray. I'm just waiting for the right time. I'd like a rescue bird....one that has an immediate need. I also have cats and dogs though. If it's meant to be, it will be.
A drugged cockatoo what could go wrong 😂
❤❤🍀🤞💐🇨🇭
Anesthesia for birds?
What about it?
Yes. They feel pain just like you or I.
using anesthesia on birds can be more dangerous and risky but yes it is of course used if its needed, wouldnt be very good doing surgey on something thats awake lol
They even have it for fish too
