I felt an impulse to listen to this interview and I’m so glad I am! It has emotionally moved me ❤
They were not just brought here. Firstly, they were BOUGHT and then brought here. Acknowledge that Africans used to sell themselves as slaves. Be fair!
Not only that: they were so cruelly placed inside the ships' cargo basements that 12% of the 5.5 million African slaves died during the trip, an astounding 660k. 38% of all the bought African slaves were sent to Brazil. It's a very, very dark History, and we have to keep talking about it - there's just so many people who have no idea of what and how it happened...
My dad said the same thing to me many years ago..”don’t help if the person didn’t ask for help. If things work out they will be happy and you will be emotionally exhausted. If things don’t go well, they will blame you for their problems and forget that you were just trying to help”.
My husband keeps reminding me of this. I am a protector/want to help everyone and I end up overwelmed with things that does not even was mine to begin with. This is a daily exercise.

I agree. You can see within her, how her two biggest inspirations have shaped her- Mariah Carey and Madonna. …Madonna, who she got to work with, she loves for everything she stands for, and Mariah, for the musicality and the fact that they’re both biracial ❤️ I saw her in an interview saying her father’s side of the family is black (Mariah’s father is Afro Venezuelan) and that made her gravitate to Mariah’s music even more. I love how no matter what people say about her twerking, being dirty, silly, etc., she always brings attention to the history of her country and also to the present cultures-such as in Salvador, in Bahia state, in her video “Me Gusta” w Cardi and Myke Towers (great song). Showing the traditional female musicians and dresses of Bahia. She also met Mariah during Christmas at a gift shop in Aspen! Such a cute video! And Mariah knew who she was and everything.

This meant everything to me .I remember the 1st time I saw Annita, I was instantly drawn to her, and I didn't even know why. After watching this whole thing now I know why. Her spirit and light is so bright! Then I googled her to read more about her, and we both have the same birthday on March 30th . She is my spirit animal now ❤ just a beautiful soul , inside and out.
I freaking love when someone experience this type of shift... Spiritual shift.. broaden knowledge and changing and accepting new perspective . Sad that she has to go through certain tough period of life and All i want to do is give Anitta a hug and talk bout life,love,kindness...
I've been a fan of hers for many years and this was for sure the best interview. This one talking right there is Larissa! Soooo proud of everything she achieved as Anitta and even more as Larissa! ❤️
Anitta, I have never heard of you before now, but your spirit and soul feel like I have known you for years. Since binge-watching this show, you have shared one of the best answers to Jay's questions about 'one law to implement': NO ONE SHOULD BE A BILLIONAIRE! Girl, I could hug you up so tight if you were next to me. I have never heard a rich person say that even though I have had the same thoughts. Give. Share when one reaches the universal threshold. Your feedback about not helping someone who did not ask for help is the creme de la creme. I have learned a few tips from you as a spiritual individual myself. Thanks Jay for these phenomenal videos and learning sessions - you are the male version of Miss O.
Amazing interview, I loved every second of it and can't agree more with everything that she says. Thank you Anitta for being so real, you are such an inspiration!! And also thank you Jay for inviting her and giving us the opportunity to listen to her story.
i am brazilian and so glad and proud that Anitta have reached this level of spiritual evolution .Its everything about hoop , love and faith proud to be Brazilian
I have been off social media for almost a year. Seeing Anitta in this podcast talking about all the personal and spiritual transformation she has gone through over the past year after getting sick warms my heart. What an incredible shift! 💜 Anitta has reached a level that I had only seen Gisele Bündchen and two actors (Rodrigo Santoro and Wagner Moura) reaching so high outside our country. It was sad to hear many Brazilians saying that she did not represent us abroad and not giving her credit! But she continues to carry our flag despite so much criticism. 🙏🍀🇧🇷 Anitta is the ‘character’ that she created to achieve this success, and she GOT this!!!! 🎉🤩🏆🥇 I think today it was Larissa who gave this interview! And what a delight it is to hear Larissa talking about the experiences she had to embrace her inner child. I loved it! 💜🙏🍀 Thank you, Jay and Anitta, for this interview!!!!
Yeeeesssss…Anittaaaa….my girl ❤ I‘m so excited to watch this Podcast. I‘m from Germany and „discovered“ her in 2017. And since then I listen to her music. Such an inspirational woman 🥰
I truly admire this woman! I feel very proud to see her here.
This validates the healing modalities I used to heal from tremendous betrayal trauma. Inner Child work, Family Constellation therapy, meditation, walks in nature, learning to stay with myself and detaching from what others say or expect and from my expectations of them… I also did EMDR. We are so much more powerful than we know and when you connect with Spirit, your inner self and the Divine… your life will change. People will see you differently because you are shining your light, just as this beautiful soul is doing ⚡️✨
I’m not even a fan of her music but seen her performances on tik tok and I came because I was looking for the part where lost 300k followers … and stayed for the whole interview . I think I’m gonna go listen to her music aswell because of what she said about making positive changes with her influence and platform .. that was such a powerful statement on her part and I respect that a lot .
Love this lady I'm a English woman if 57 and iv learned from her even at my age iv been on a spiritual journey for ladt 6 years so completely understand where she's coming from thank you beautiful lady and thank you Jay for introducing us to her and I'm looking forward to listening to her music because growing up in the 80s I grew up listening to funk and something called jazz funk music ❤
I am absolutely inspired by her! I've been following her since the very start of her career. As a Brazilian living in Europe for 12 years, I take great pride in seeing Brazilians break barriers and showcase the richness of Brazilian culture. It takes immense courage, and Anitta is an incredibly important figure for our culture and our country, which some people fail to recognize. She's a remarkable young woman who fearlessly embraces her femininity, isn't afraid to challenge societal norms, and actively advocates for political and minority issues. Her music is uplifting, fun, and full of joy. Whether she's flaunting her confidence or speaking her mind, her value remains unchanged. It's simple - if she wants to show off her body, it's her choice, and no one else's opinion matters. If you don't want to do it, then don't. If you can't handle seeing it, then just look away. If everyone focused on taking care of themselves, the world would be a better place. @Anitta I love your life and hope you can continue evolving to be the person you wanna be and continue being happy because you do make a lot of us proud And happy. YOU DESERVE ALL!!!
For me Anitta (Larissa) is in an evolutionary stage as an artist and as a person. Knowing, being aware and feeling that sensation of having it all but at the same time feeling empty and sad and not enjoying it is terrible. The good thing is that her body and mind sent her a signal to change and improve, now giving more importance and priority to her emotional and physical health and other things and that helped her to have the desire and energy again for new challenges and projects... and to really ..enjoy life every day with balance. Anitta is a great and interesting artist and I love getting to know the person Larissa is.
Anitta faced so many battles like prejudice... a woman who came from a very poor place, singing funk which was considered a crime by the middle class and nowadays she has broken barriers and influences many other women that their dreams can become real, no matter how many people keep judging her. Bravo, Anitta!
Wow, I am blown away! I already love your channel, but my respect for you has grown so much as a Latina woman seeing this. I am completely amazed. I am part of Anita’s community and have seen her growth. Thank you for featuring her. Your commitment to diversity and the incredible guests you bring on have blown my mind. This channel has truly changed my life. Thank you for all that you do! ❤
Thank you Anitta, for always being honest in your interviews. You deserve the world, you will achieve many things. Continue being this feisty and light-filled woman. I learn a lot from you ❤️
Excelente entrevista.
And that explains why a lot of successful people took their own lives for not knowing how to deal with all those inner child issues. They had ALL but they didn’t have the most important thing inside of them : peace/happiness within themselves Micheal Jackson, Whitney etc etc etc
Yeah I always think and feel sad about this Amazing person's, singers who created so beautiful music which have a wonderful powerful to healing and brings joy for the people, but unfortunately their seems were lost about their self.
I am Brazilian and I am so proud of you Anita! The journey you been through the growth and where you are todays makes me so happy! And honored to say that I am Brazilian too. You laying down a path that is so beautiful and will open the doors for so many other artists to come through. Thank you for your spiritual growth and brightness ❤❤❤❤❤ eu amo vc linda!

seek your happiness and take credit for it so that you don't need to blame something or someone! great anitta 💫
👏👏👏
I didn’t knew how knowledgeable she is! Smart , strong beautiful women. ❤
Like she said people only know the character they put out.
Yes, it is
Well, she speaks 4 languagues, so...
@@LillyLolla I know people that speaks more then 4 and have zero sense lol
@@LillyLolla even if she only spoke Portuguese she would still be the same amazing woman !
Amazing interview, I loved every second of it and can't agree more with everything that she says. Thank you Anitta for being so real, you are such an inspiration!! And also thank you Jay for inviting her and giving us the opportunity to listen to her story.
I asked for this and now it happened! I'm very happy that you'll be able to get to know Anitta in depth ❤️
❤❤❤
What a surprise that "depth" isn't as deep as expected.
I'm Brazilian and I'm really happy for that step! I'm in the same religion, lightful path. Thanks Anitta again ♥
I was so excited to watch this episode, I'm in love with this independent, hard-working, intelligent and brilliant woman, Anitta is incredible
🙌🙌🙌
You're right
i am brazilian and so glad and proud that Anitta have reached this level of spiritual evolution .Its everything about hoop , love and faith proud to be Brazilian
This is so real and deep and I ain’t even a full 1/4 of the way in omg 😍
É incrível como a Anitta aprendeu inglês e como fala tão bem. Surreal, parabéns! Jay, incrível como sempre!
Brazilian people,UA-cam already offers a translator... let's watch the podcast and like it!!!
Yeeeesssss…Anittaaaa….my girl ❤
I‘m so excited to watch this Podcast. I‘m from Germany and „discovered“ her in 2017. And since then I listen to her music.
Such an inspirational woman 🥰
It's nice to hear that about her
I truly admire this woman! I feel very proud to see her here.
❤❤❤
I’m Sakha and I found her beliefs so relatable! Love from Republic of Sakha 💞🥰
This is pure Brazilian wisdom. She’s incredible.
That makes sense
OMG Anitta. I'm a forever fan and proud of what you've achieved but GURLLLLL YOU BLEW ME AWAY WITH THAT INTERVIEW! WOW WOW WOW
I am enchanted by Anitta's intelligence and wisdom, she is very formal in everything she does, I love her like a sunflower.
I think she's really awesome
Formal? I think you need a dictionary
our religion is just so beautiful, i love how Anitta is talking about candomblé and trying to change people minds.
Anitta faced so many battles like prejudice... a woman who came from a very poor place, singing funk which was considered a crime by the middle class and nowadays she has broken barriers and influences many other women that their dreams can become real, no matter how many people keep judging her. Bravo, Anitta!
Thank you for asking Anitta good questions and not just focusing on sex❤️🇧🇷
Exactly , this is the best interview she has so far
11 min in and im already in awe about their conversation
Wow, I am blown away! I already love your channel, but my respect for you has grown so much as a Latina woman seeing this. I am completely amazed. I am part of Anita’s community and have seen her growth. Thank you for featuring her. Your commitment to diversity and the incredible guests you bring on have blown my mind. This channel has truly changed my life. Thank you for all that you do!
❤
This is the first time I saw and I think she's awesome.
Thank you Anitta, for always being honest in your interviews. You deserve the world, you will achieve many things. Continue being this feisty and light-filled woman. I learn a lot from you ❤️
Mother! She's my favorite. Brazil must be proud of her!
Excelente entrevista.
FOI TUDOO AMEEEI
And that explains why a lot of successful people took their own lives for not knowing how to deal with all those inner child issues. They had ALL but they didn’t have the most important thing inside of them : peace/happiness within themselves
Micheal Jackson, Whitney etc etc etc
Yeah I always think and feel sad about this Amazing person's, singers who created so beautiful music which have a wonderful powerful to healing and brings joy for the people, but unfortunately their seems were lost about their self.
She is a privileged person, who had the opportunity to observe those who came before
I am Brazilian and I am so proud of you Anita!
I LOVE SOO MUCH ANITTAAAA
I love when interviewers just let Anitta talk. She is always insightful, funny, inspiring. There is never one moment of awkwardness. I could listen to her for hours.
What a MASTER CLASS!!!!! Anitta experienced so much in life and she’s is always sharing her knowledge with others, even when she’s learning she’s sharing so the others might learn with her. It was like that during the pandemic, she had lives with teachers and speakers on IG for her followers. She always uses her platform and opportunities to bring something meaningful! I love that part of her!
What an absolutely amazing, awesome, beautiful, fantastic woman and interview. I was not familiar with with Anitta before. Now I am ABSOLUTELY a fan. Her depth and intelligence is so breathtaking. WOW, WOW, WOW. This has to my favorite interview I've seen. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

This was a blessing to watch. I’ve loved Anitta for years and enjoyed seeing her evolve. We just saw her in concert in Chicago and her energy was magnetic. I love being in Brasil too, nevertheless, she is the Brazilian experience and I’m honored to know that she’s living the life I dare to dream! Jay, I don’t post etc, so this is the most social you’ll get from me…everything resonated with me!!! EVERYTHING! I will be leaving an offering to Oshun for allowing me to hear this!
When we have nothing and we're not happy, we have something to blame. That hit me hard, wow.

We're so proud of her! Being brazilian and seeing her growth, the place she came from, the doors she's opened, it just makes me emotional. Anitta has always been smart, she used to work in a big company in Brazil before she decided to focus on singing. Her strategy in conquering the international market first through learning and singing in Spanish is also genius. Thanks for this interview and so many interesting questions.

Your questions are great we can see that you’re really paying attention to what she’s saying and make comments about it. An amazing interview. Anitta is such an inspiration as a woman as a business woman and as a person who fought for what she believed and wished. I’m always amazed for her courage to speak freely and her intellect. Loved it
