I just use my Chevy Stepside and go around the map trying over and over to get Three stars on drift zones. Even one star is $3,264 each time, two stars is about $4,865, and 3 stars is $6,275. So if you are really stubborn, you can get better at drifting and make a decent chunk of change.

Worked once. Built up cash for a more expensive car. Tried it with that, gave me the resell value for that once then it dropped to the first car value. Tried it again and the glitch stopped working

It also works for PC. Just close the game in the Task-Manager and Dis- and Reconnect to your Wifi by just plugging out your Lan or by Disconnecting in the settings. 💪🏼

feel like this would take more time than to just grind the money out in the game. My best spot for grinding is the thread the needle time trial. Takes just under a minute ( My pr is 52 seconds ) and you can just hit replay event to start the event again.
My car I just buy and then I try to swap after it doesn’t show up on the showcase
it doesn’t let me do it at all as soon as I disconnect from the Internet when I get to the selling part preparation when I go back to the game, it kicks me all the way offline

Once you're to the main menu part of the glitch, you can disconnect and reconnect before you re-enter the game on xbox. Im sure its the same for ps. Saves a little time
Didn’t work for me for some reason. Do you go into solo or online play? Because if I go online and disconnect it just boots me to the menu, but solo doesn’t seem to do the trick

Yeah idk, after 3 attempts, alt f4ing fast or slow and trying end task in task manager on the glitch part, still no success. Not sure what's the trick, but I can't get it to work on PC as of 22nd August 2023.
You either close the game too early or too late when connect the internet

july 2024? super easy still works the only tricky part was on the 2 blue bars part i noticed that if your too early on closing the game the glitch will not work but once i figured it out i managed to do the glitch and it works!

this will work on PC, however if you have the game on a SSD / NVME SSD , you will have to be super quick about shutting the app down. it's tricky but once you nail it, it's great.
