I just want to say in the beginning, I know some of you who watch this video know more than I do about this game and you might know everything on this list already but there are a lot of new-ish players who I thought could benefit from a video like this. That being said, even if your a NFS Heat veteran I might surprise you with one or two of these facts but if there's something you think belongs on this list make sure you put it in the comments to help the community learn something!

4:02 Today I discovered an exception to this: I was Heat 0 and saw a cop sitting by the gas station between Westside and Eden Shores, so I decided to mess with him. Turns out if you honk at them enough, they will get pissed and start chasing you. The first couple times they'll just flash their lights back at you, but if you keep honking, that apparently annoys them. It's definitely a fun way of getting to Heat 1 without starting a race or crashing into a cop, both situations in which you could be taking damage.

That's almost as bad as the on foot cops in GTAV, stand near them long enough, they'll first push you then start shooting at you...
An armed guard at the start of The Last of Us is even worse, one warning push, then he shoots you dead! 😮😃 .

@@xShareemNear the start of the first one in the safezone, you come across some fireflies under guard on the street, naturally being curious you'll walk over to them.
The guard will say "move along!", and as i said first push you, then kill you with one shot if you don't! 😃😮 .

The thing about opening your map to pause the game is that at a high heat level if you are on a road there's a 50/50 chance a cop will randomly spawn right in front of you that wasn't there before. There's no way to get around it unless you go in a field to check your map, and it's ruined a lot of my night sessions.
One thing I noticed during my nighttime rep grind is that the game not actually stops when paused - it only freezes all vehicles. But! I went afk for fifteen minutes and when I returned i was shocked because how many cops were spawned in the streets nearby me. I wasn't in pursuit, just hiding and during the pause amount of cops patrolling the streets went from five to fifty
If you're playing online it doesnt pause, should in single player
The purple star looking icon on the top left of cars at the dealership means that they don't have visual customization options (or little to none I believe)
When customizing a car, if you remove all customization when it's stock, you will get a "hidden" license plate, the Fortune Valley one. Not to be confused with the other NFS Payback plate.
i did that to my c10 n re customized it then i noticed i had that fortune valley plate lol thanks for the info 💯

I’ve been playing this game since day one and I love it. I’m playing it right now. I’m glad new people are coming in and it’s still being played, however I’m super pissed that support for this game has been completed dropped

I just bought it for 17,45 euro and it is the Deluxe edition. Cant wait to start playing it! Steam had some weird weekend sale.

Additionally, you can grind the high heat races on solo and utilise the game pause when opening your map to plan where you want to go. If you are also smart, you can do races near the high heat races and use the retry race at the end of the race to be teleported back to where you need to be (mainly for those sprint races). This can make a great alternative if you cannot get 3 people so I advise this for the solo players

Its a good game but after around 2 weeks to a month youll get boref of it. I finished the whole game in a week.

When you’re driving you don’t need to set a waypoint all you need to do is look at the sky, and you’ll see the safe houses drive with an off road and there you do not need to risk getting seen by cops.
It’s really cool that people like you are still making vids about nfs heat most people stopped playing it keep up the good work!!

I have never heard anyone talk about it but the abandon ship jump at the harbor makes any cop ( even heat 5 ) either destroys their car or makes them lose sight of you. If there is a helicopter it usually can’t see you for long enough to lose you, if it isn’t long enough jump again, I have used this so many times

Wow, how did you get that aerial view footage from 00:25 to 00:47? That looked lit, and Heat does look like that at night gameplay.
I think it’s the camera or photo editor when you hold down your right joystick.
Start clicking right joystick down just before a jump to enter photo mode mid air. Must be done in a solo lobby
On PC keep pressing the Print screen (prt sc) button

i believe ride hide does affect bottoming out. Especially on the circuit track, where i’ve bottomed out and had my car wipe out.
also when i did the jump challenges, having a higher ride height would help not bottom out on the ramp and lose distance

To point 8, I have a question.
In the raceway, I sometimes feels lime the Spoiler changes the Hitbox. I hit the walls, but only with the Spoiler, nothing else.

I believe ride height does effect the car. Camber , not so much. I've noticed with ride height tho , certain places the car will hit 'bumps' in the road however with it sitting higher it wont.

You can also switch cars on day time races without going to the garage , just go to change cars when you get to a race
Camber and ride height DO make a difference. Slam your car and it will bounce off every little bump. Camber out a little will help you stick in corners. Try it

I've been playing heat since it was released and a new thing I learn't the other day was the online chat using d-pad and you can reply to what people say. (Tbh I laughed because I've only just found it) by the way good vid. Keep it up👌

To get ultimate parts you can just do a heat 3 race but if you want the ultimate + parts you need a heat 5 race
new to Heat cos I got it through XBOX Game Pass for PC. Thanks for the tips
2:15 IDK how Heat managed to mess this up, but ride height does change the collision of the car, and the lower the ride height/suspension, the easier it is to crash out on curbs at high speeds.
Realistically, it makes sense

Agreed but using Navigation and manipulating the cops attachment to spawn revolving around that route is like training zombies! Makes keeping distance when you really want it a bit easier in my opinion
If u wanna swap a car without going into the garage go to any race change cars then exit the race (daytime only) saved me hours of loading screens
Even heat level 5 cops can't keep up with you if you're in a 400 plus car going around the track. Also it's fun going around the track backwards because they can't seem to process.
Do you have to buy each rim separately, or just the front and back? I wasn't sure if I need to buy a rim more than once.

Most of the events are marked with "!" Mark completed both events but still the mark doesn't change
for those who doesnt know yet, heat 3-4-5 chases can be a pain in the arse. if you wanna end it quickly just find a place that jumps over from a building to another or that jumps over the water. jump that, the cops will follow and crash while trying to go across. job done and you're free to escape
You forgot to mention that, at night you can get rid of cops if you jump over a ramp/bridge in a few places in the map and another place where you can lose them where you get the free Aston Martin

I actually got busted by a cop with zero wanted level in free roam when I switched my engine off and honked a bunch of times. I felt real dumb afterwards.

Maybe try calling EA and tell them to update the game some more.
When you call EA, tell them to add drag racing, and fix the scratches that appear on your car even when you don't hit anything

no there isnt. That was captured by another player in photo mode while i was racing down that hill.

How do you not get bored with it after 2 years? I got it in the middle of quarantine about 8 months ago and I've had to restart because I Got bored and didn't play and lost the skills I needed to handle the car 😂
@@amihere383 I play with breaks I don't juz play nfs heat.
If you get seen by a cop while the cops are not actively looking for you (Dispatch calls off searching for you, when licensed music is playing), there is a grace period before pursuit starts. If you get out of sight of the Cop, you can prevent the pursuit from beginning.

tuning the car from gas drift to brake drift makes it more tail happy
One thing I noticed about this game is that when driving the Regera, it clips the ground a lot because it is so low to the ground.
Cant you higher it a little to fix that?
