with the way your template is set up how do you pan vocals if needed??
Hi Emily, hope you're doing well. I watched the video several times. I am working in Luna. What you shown here seems to me the exact same way you routed the busses in Luna, am I correct? In Luna the busses are routed by choosing "Multiple" and select the buss or busses it need to go too. The Drum bus, where the single drum tracks go to first in Luna says; Drum crush and bus buss (2) - and goes to the mix bus (not the music bus) The vocal LV is send to the paralel bus and that bus to the mixbus. Am I still correct? Is this how the updated one is also working? Most of the busses like strings, horns guitar ect are all send to the music bus + mix bus. You put on these tracks a send button that is send also to the music bus (I have no idea if I set that to zero or blend to the compressor is a little before 4Db as in this video. What you explained in the start of the video I didn't understand and ask myself if I need to do that. I will import the same template of luna. There are some more questions 🙂- But I hope I get these questions above out of the way 🙂

I have PT 12 an HP computer 2.90 GHz 64 GB ram, will this template work without running out of cpu power? email shows halloween sell but I can't tell reg vs sale price. Unable to set up a fair air music account if you want to answer with email let me know thanks
Hey Clint, yep template will work with any .ptx version of Pro Tools. I do have a PT template with no active UAD plugins if that is what you are needing. Once the Halloween sale is over the template will go up to its standard price.

Hey Rod!
What kind of plugins are you mostly using?
Any plugins that you don’t own can be replaced with ones you do own.
I always recommend using plugins that are designed in the same way as the ones you are replacing.
For example, I would replace the UAD 33609 with a stereo VCA compressor, something mildly transparent.
It is important to get to know the plugins you do have and how they work best.
The good thing about the template is that it’s a working system and it can work with the plugins you have. I have just learned how the ones I use work best for me in this setup.
Well that is my problem in not knowing what to substitute. If you have a guide using your plug-ins translated to generic ones or the type name that would be really helpful!
@@RodJay I do have a video on the Pro Tools “non-UAD” plugins template. But since I don’t know what everyone’s plug-in bag looks like, it’s hard to put together a substitution list.
What I meant was a description of the plug-ins characteristics that you are using so that others can be substituted with the same or similar characteristics!

Hi Josef,
If you do not own any UAD plugins, you can replace the ones on the template with plugins you do have.
In the video, I give you an example of what the plugins look like when you don’t own them and to simply remove them and replace them with what you have. The mixing template is all about the system that is built within.

@@TheLula26 the v5 template will work with Studio One 6.
You will need to duplicate the v5 template folder and rename to v6.

The update includes the plugins that I’m currently using. Everything in this video will show which ones. I also changed some routing and using sends on the drums to their buses instead of multiple outs. Reason being is bc some of the other DAWs don’t allow multiple outs and I feel I have better control of what I’m sending.
