Rather it shows the overcoming of the Devil, who is clueless as to who the man is speaking to is since he does not have an omnipotent field of knowledge And so he attempts to tempt who he perceives as a man like any other, with Worldly things such as food and power. Things which to Christ are of course meaningless, without value I'm not sure how you think saying that denying attributing sexual attraction to Christ is wrong and somehow makes the bible wrong

So then he wasn’t human, not fully. The Bible is pretty clear that all humans sin and have temptation to sin. That’s sorta an inherent quality of being human. To not have that quality would be to forgo a massive part of being human. So he wasn’t really human. It wants you to know so badly that all humans are sinful that it goes as far as to say people are naturally born sinful, that way you can't even excuse literal babies from being sinful, that's how far the bible goes to ensure you know that sin can't be separated from humans. If you have a "sinless person", then they're not human. Also "so still felt “weakness” like human emotion and temptation", the bible also makes it repeatedly known that temptation to sin in itself is a sin. So if Jesus was experiencing human temptations then he was still sinning. This is another example of the bible being more than direct about the fact that being tempted to sin is itself at minimum still a sin, and at maximum equal to the act of sin itself you're being tempted to commit. Either way, Jesus experiencing human emotions and temptations would still come with sin.
Jesus wouldn't have a preference for that would require Him to look upon a woman lustfully, which, as He said, is as sinful as fornication itself. Knowing Jesus is without sin, he would never look upon a woman lustfully, and therefore never have a preference.

So, to answer the question, both.
He was a pure man. He had no temptations of his own as He was fully pure. In other words, perfect.
Most Christians would like to have a word with you on that one
@@miguelatkinson of His own, friend. He was tempted by the devil, yet He never held evil temptations from within His own mind.
This is the reason fall-out fans shouldn't have access to Joshua Graham's AI voice.
True, joshua would hate everyone here lol
“To deny he had sexual temptations implies he wasn’t fully human”
Asexuals:
Yeah, but for the answer to be "Jesus was an asexual", the evangelicals would have to acknowledge that asexuals exist and they're not gonna do that.
@@thesalvager3020 evangelical here and I don’t know whether or not he was but my guess would be no… because the first claim lines up more accurately with the idea that he was tempted in the same ways that all of us are tempted. So I would imagine he would have been tempted at some point. Not to say I dislike or don’t believe in asexuals or whatever. The Bible doesn’t say that, solid theology doesn’t say that, and anyone who does say that in the name of my religion is a liar and speaking out of their own personal bias.

He didn't have temptations tho man defied Satan's for 40 days in the desert
Actually it is suspected that as God's son he saw humans as his literal brothers and sisters, and since humans are called children of God for Him to have lustful temptations would be incestuous.
He wouldn't have been the first guy to bang his siblings. there's a possibility he would've had this same thought as a form of trying to justify why he would do it, if he did.
Joshua would despise everyone here
Yeah, you def missed something in that five minute theology course you endured in California.

his divinity trumped any human temptation he could ever had, thats why Jesus was never tempted, even after the devil dared to tempt him.

Sexual temptations are an element of the unconscious, of the human body enacting different chemicals, whereas choice in his logic can be rooted in his consciousness, his soul. So it doesn't matter.
He likes when girls used their tears to wash his feet with their hair, unclear if in an a sexual way but it is canon that he approved of this form of worship.

Also sex drive is different from sexual attraction. Would you want to fuck your grandma? That’s essentially how asexual people feel, but for everyone.
@@doubledirections7221 can confirm my sex can drive... It ran over thirty two thousand or so people and caused a mass flooding in several parts of New York somehow. As well as getting registered as a war criminal in most states.
It did irk me that they just glossed over that. I mean I’ve been a Christian for over a decade and idk whether or not Jesus was asexual (I also don’t really care; if anything I think it strays massively from the point) but their implication was very rude when you think about it.
@@Caleb-zl4wk yeah he doesn’t have lustful temptations because he’s perfect so the modern idea of asexual could describe him. The lust isn’t because we are human it’s because of original sin so when we overcome it we are not less than human it is actually the opposite and we become better humans more in line with what god wants us to become and what his original vision of what a human is

The thing is that Jesus was perfect in his human nature not just divine nature so no he was still fully human without having sexual temptations to say he had any is blasphemy
