- In a massive jolt to Ukraine, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered the country's military to test its nuclear-capable weapon systems. The move came a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered similar drills citing hostile rhetoric by Western officials that necessitated a show of force. Belarus, which has a long border with Ukraine, is a close ally for Russia and provides it clear advantage in the war, if it decides to join.

The west are prepared to use an overwhelming conventional attack to prevent any nuclear weapon launch. I doubt China or India would support Putin if the west acted to prevent a launch. Putin would be isolated
