Could you tell me how the IAME 175 is different compared to KZ and Stockmoto in terms of the power band and driveability? I used to own a TM KZ10b and ROK shifter. As you know the KZ's require you to be at 10k or higher RPM before it goes anywhere. Curious to know more about the bottom end torque and power band on the IAME 175cc engines AND if you think it is easier or harder to drive than KZ / Stockmoto.
You don’t get that carburetor here in Europe, you get Dellorto, not sure which one is better? And it has electric start, no need to push the damn thing.
Dellorto carbs are legendary high performance, but you need a pump + bat. So the big miss of starter saves money, but if you are oldie could be a hindrance.
@@claude7473 They are now selling the 175cc with the Tillotson here in Europe, mine came with it, I don’t know which one performs best, I’m in the process of borrowing a Dellorto so I can test and compare the two, hopefully during the same day, we will see.
@@nacoleon18 Pablo qué tal.... both carburetors are good, I do have to admit the Tillotson makes things a lot easier, you don’t have to be changing jets or needle position, you adjust the high and the low as you go, very convenient.
Great video! What a monster 175cc LOVE IT!
I am so excited for this
ok this was a 2018 vid so i can imagine people have experimented about carbs. All im curious to know is the size of that carb hole.
Do they all come with the expansion chamber shown as im sure ive seen a different set up here in the uk.

Derek Lodato what a shame he didn’t answer your question, I would like to know as well.
I finally bought a Super Shifter, I’ve been driving it for a while, if you have any questions, let me know..

Sounds like a different class of kart altogether.

How much does this engine weigh?
42lbs bare
So 5 years later and this engine is a dud? Basically a boat anchor now?
