A calm, easy to view, and easy to understand process. Thank you so very much!
Thank you
I've been looking, (& looking), for an instructional video such as this.
It is excellent, showed exactly how to sew on bias tape & even the corners.
I very much appreciated the music & no words.
There are those of us who learn best by watching & that's what happened here.
I've subscribed to your videos.
Thank you!
It's been a headache looking for a simple bias strip and then I came to your demonstration omg thank you for a simple video that you can understand now my headaches gone. Phew
Exactly what I needed to know. Beautiful job. Always wondered what to use the pokey stick for.😂 thank u
Very simply done thankyou although I only wanted to see single fold but was still good to see and no talking was good too cause some people go on & on for so long before sewing. I've just started sewing after 35 years NOT using sewing machine.
Thanks again. 💚
Thanks
This is fantastic! I found your video searching for bias binding techniques. You’re so accurate! I love the little stick you use to hold the binding in position as you feed it into the machine 🌟
Thank you
It is an awl. They come in various sizes and should be part of all sewing tool boxes. They are absolutely the best for control next to that needle.😀
Thank you for this!
Love this tutorial. You literally didn't have to explain things. And it looks sooooo neat, truly decent & just lovely. This is the type of video I truly needed. I hate sewing on round corners. I barely get that correct. So I'm thinking will I be able to sew bias tape around round corners..??
Thanks so much..!!
Thank you
Excellent demonstration!! Good close up view which was great!! No need for words...Well done!! You should continue to present More😃😃 Thank you 😌!!
Thank you, comments like these give strength to make other videos.
Very skilled
Love the hack with the kitchen roll, thank you
Thank you
Perfect finish maam .
All the best
Omg you made that look so easy I been running from bias tape
Beautifully made! 🥰
Thanks a lot 🙏😊
Thank you
My sandwiching and sewing never match one side is always different to the other. I usually end up hand sewing on both sides which is so laborious. 🤔😕😢
That is my problem also! Very frustrating! I gave up and used a zigzag stitch which doesn't look very nice at all.
Thanks! Straightforward instructions.
I have been doing this professionally all my life. It's nice to hear such appreciation of my work.
So you don’t do the thing where you open up the bias tape, sew along the line, then fold it over, then top stitch? You just sandwich it and sew? Is there a difference in how it looks or feels if you don’t do the “sew along the fold” thing first?
Of course have. I show you here how a professional does. But for beginners, I recommend sew along the line (the basting stitch can be done first), then fold it over, then top stitch (the basting stitch can be done first).

I like your way. Fantastic 🌼
I have been doing this nice and slow and I feel like the back of the tape isn’t catching like the front even when I really sandwich it together 😅
me: panicking about sewing bias on a round corner
this video: JUST DO IT
Thank you
Beautiful, thank-you.
Hi there :) beginners question, but with this method, is there any risk of fabric fraying (underneath the bias tape) if put in the wash?
Thank you for the great video
If the fabric of the blanket is strong, then the bias tape will hold securely during washing
which bias tape better... nylon or cotton?
cotton
Excellent 🌼
Very helpful 👍
Thanks
So perfect 👌
It really helped me, thx!¡:❤
Thank you, I have other videos on how to sew bias binding
What seam allowance did you use?
0.3 - 0.5 cm
Even though I see carefully, a lot of times it still doesn’t catch on the other side. I get sooooo frustrated!!!!!
Do not worry. Many things that you know how to do for me will not be available.
How do I stop it from buckling?
You need to pull the bias tape with your hand a little.
You didn’t show the end, where the edges meet. 😕
You don't need a special presser foot then?
No, it is not necessary for me, I almost always use a regular all-purpose presser foot.
Nice
Thanks!
Supper
It's Super 🤣🙏

👏
Trying to sew with a thicker bias tape. Ugh. I'm running away lol
No is verry deffecult I can't do it
People should stop using disturbing music 😬😬😬
A good sewing teacher doesn't give the silent teaching. You should have explained what you were doing. The video kept emphasizing that the bias tape should be longer on one side than the other. Also, I noticed the longer side was under the fabric. Is this correct? Your video is one big guessing game. Cut the music and teach!
The longer side is under the fabric. Your comments are correct. We do not make any more such videos.
I really appreciate the video! I try to remember these kind folks are making free content on their own time and dime to benefit the community as a whole and anyone who watches this for the remainder of time. There’s many videos out there with a very brief search on every subject so I try not to get discouraged and disgruntled. I really understand harsh comments really make people step back and contemplate whether taking their time to create free content is worth it. I try to step back and analyze what the person whose content Im consuming owes me, because it’s more than likely nothing, yet they do it to benefit everyone who watches it. And with brash statements a lot of knowledgeable people quickly get turned away from educating the masses due to a couple sour grapes who are ungrapeful .
But very helpful video and thanks again!
@@KeganNH 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 well said, I learned a lot from this video and thankful that its free👏🏼❤
You are so rude and ungrateful. I thought it was well demonstrated. Just move on if you don't like it. 😕🙏🙏
It was actually very helpful to me, I've been following a few different ones, and this seemed to be the one that gave me the most answers. I'm a beginner and I've been making the tape myself and I had difficulty putting it on. I know she made the tape, but I went out and purchased premade and this helped me figure out how to put it on because I was hoping it was easier than stitching, folding over and stitching on the ditch, and it was. I'm a quick learner and sometimes talking actually confuses me, lol so I found it helpful.
omg the music.... horrible. shameful cus the rest seems.useful
Thank you, I don't know much about music, but I know my profession very well
@@sewway yea leave it out next time pls! or very light music . way better :) thanks!!
Simply turn your sound off if it bothers you.
Pretty!
Thank you. It took 10 years of training to do this.
