- Madonna is poking fun at the haters! The singer shared a photo of herself on Twitter, sporting braids and a baseball cap, and writes in the caption, 'Look how cute I am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol.' Earlier this month, Madonna made a special appearance at the 65th annual GRAMMY Awards, where some viewers took aim at her looks during the ceremony.

I remember seeing Madonna in the clubs back in the early 80’s before she hit it big. Some people were so rude and mean to her because they thought she was weird because of how she dressed back then, but she had so much confidence in herself people slowly started to gravitate towards her and she had the attention
of the everyone surrounding her. I remember hearing people say she’ll never make it. Then almost 2 years later she was everywhere.

Great to hear. I have never been a fan, don't really like her nor most of her music but the day she goes missing, she will leave a big gap. This woman has a lot of importance and she deserves all the respect. I have seldom found what she does of any interest but I agree completely with her doing what she wants, as she wants, as she sees it AND whatever the age. If she had plastic surgery, it is her business, that takes nothing away from what she has done. May she have health for a long time.

It's definitely shocking for anyone who hasn't seen her in years. Much like with Little Kim. I am sorry that she felt she had to get the surgeries to get to this point. She was a fun performer and gorgeous to me before the surgery(ies?). However if she's happy then she's happy!
When someone starts to look like that Cat Woman lady, Wilderstein or something...............you start to look like something else not, someone else and why? Because you can't and won't accept you're aging and sorry but, it's all a part of life. There's a lot of freedom in ageing gracefully, it's Beautiful.

Tbh She looks too puffy...like Mrs. Puffs in SpongeBob 😂 if the surgery is fresh that's normal tho. But Maybe after a year the swelling will settle down. And will see the actual results of her enhancements. And I hope she brings back the full brows the bleached pale brows look really weird. Maybe for a high fashion shoot that might work for a still mag images. But not for the actuality of everyday, if she's trying to look fresh and younger she needs to bring back the full thick dark brows and wait for more years before she adds another layer of anything on her face. I'm rooting for her. She's a legend.

There was a time when she knew how to change her image and reinvent herself, in the PAST tense. Once she hit 50 and saw younger competition, I believe something broke in her. She stopped being her usual trend-setter self, and caved to the pressure of youth. She became a beauty sellout (filter apps, facial fillers, mouth grillz(!)), something I'd never associate her with.
It's sad to watch her these days, chasing youth and the person she once was. The entertainment industry is cruel enough to women over 40, but her place of influence/spotlight is not what it once was: we now have Beyonce, Adele, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, and others who are in their career glory.
She will always be the Queen of Pop, and her fanbase of age 35+ people is locked in. But unless she starts putting out truly good music like she used to, she will continue to rest on her laurels as an "oldies act": she had a really good run, and that is enough.

She's 64. That weird puffiness is from fat and other filler in her face. It decreases lines and smooths the skin. But it also looks very bizarre. Many older actresses look like this now. It's replaced the face-lift.

She is allowed to do with her face and body as she pleases. Although I really think she gives vibes of deep self-hatred and self-unacceptance and her mimics and actions show her being not at peace with herself at all. So I guess she's still looking for somebody to love her. In that way she seems like a grown person who didn't get to mature on the inside, which wouldn't be so bad if she was by herself, but being such a prominent figure has to be hard with this state of mind. But besides from that I never liked her and always got weird vibes from her music/voice/act.

Though I feel Madona's career is built on the reflection of the current generation and not on her age, which I assume is the reason why she's trying to capture today's younger audience in an attempt to look younger. For this reason, I don't believe she'll own her age. We can only hope that things don't look worst for her. So let's hope she can find a better surgeon that'll make her look more natural.
