Thanks for putting this from film to video an Sharing So glad to see you enjoyed your day...I live in the general area but honestly I've never had the opportunity to ride in it...
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching, I try to visit a lot of the local poker runs and events and this was my first Snirt so it was a lot of fun hoping to get back up there in August.
Yeah, I really wanted to go there, but unfortunately, I was freezing my ass off in six layers on a grizzly and really wanted to do some drone shots, but unfortunately it was just so cold so next time we’ll bring the side-by-side and be able to do some drone shots of all the Mudd craziness.
I stopped going the state bullied up. Most seasonal roads have been shut down along with atv trails. There is no information on the event until you register. Finding parking without knowing where is a hassle. 2021, it took me 40 minutes to find a parking spot another 45 minutes to register. Then, I got about 1.5 hours into the ride and then came to a stand still for an hour. Finally, someone in my group blew his clutch in his Can Am. That was my reason for leaving early. I'll never go again. I feel it's turned into a money grab for snow pales.
We have to fight the state like crazy to get the very few places to ride legally, then we have to fight like crazy to keep them. Almost all of the legal ATV trails are on private land, our state doesn't like or let us use our land that is paid for by the taxpayers for atvs. We do have alot of multi use trails but not for atvs.
This would be a phenomenal ride with equally as amazing views in the spring when all the leaves are up on the branches & the weather is nice enough for shorts & a tee shirt!
Thank you, that’s the Insta360 GPS remote paired with the camera. I may put up another video just with some of that data for Snirt. make another video out of it.
I went on the 1st shirt run, not as domesticated as it is now. We rode alot more more primitive trails and not as much roads. It was all about snow and dirt and alot of mud.
@@TheBeatenTrail nice I'm in Randolph. I used to ride on Ort farms property for years in Long Valley and my grandfather had a farm in south western PA. I just moved back to the area to help with aging parents. Great videos, keep up the hard work.
Been there a few years ago and they required your machine to be New York State registered have they changed this policy if not how are they getting the SXS registered would consider going if I could use a SXS !!
Would have been cool. Was just such a big area, we started in Lacona, so wanted to get all of the tags punched and then enjoy more, but it started getting a bit cold as well. After 90 miles on the Grizzly, it can get a bit chilly. lol
I quit as well. It was great back when it started up. Like you said, road riding now. It's just a money grab for snow pales. A snowmobile club hosting a ATV event.
I was there, it was really cold that morning but still a fun day!
Yes it was chilly on thr grizzly. Hope to have a sxs next time.

We met you at Flatrock! Thank you for the sticker and the great content! We were one of the ones riding with the Smart Car.
Thanks. Cool to meet you. Hoping to get back up to ride more of
Lewis cty this summer!
You should have stopped at Timberview. They have a huge field across the street that everyone plays in. Probably the only reason I still go to Snirt.

Thanks for the great video!
Glad you liked it! Thanks!
Love it 👍👍
Thank you!
Forgot to mention, Flat Rock also has Snowmobile races on the water in the summer.
You did mention that I saw the lake. Definitely have to check that out if I can this year.

That stinks. Yeah, I know they moved the date due to the state changing a few regulations around. I think its a good one-time experience.
@@TheBeatenTrail If you want, Buck Run this September is also Fun! More area to ride and more stops!
Ill have to check it out, Sept is always a tough month for me with travel and family. Will have to see when it is and try to get up there!
Cool video Mike 👍🏻
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
Looked like a great time.
It was! Looking forward to riding there again.
Been there a bunch of times. Always a great time. My cousins friend owns the sportsman’s bar.
Wish Jersey would let us ride

Nice video from Central Ny
Thanks for watching!!!
Awesome video. It was good to meet you after watching so many of your videos.
Thanks! You too! Hoping to get up there this summer for some riding again.

Couldn't agree more! I am hoping to get up there later this summer, schedule permitting. Was a fun time.
You didn't go to Timberview!!! You missed the shenanigans!
Cool video liked the screen with the MPH and altitude

Yeah, it was a fun experience, but I’m sure it was a lot more fun years ago.
@@TheBeatenTrail glad you enjoyed it and hope you got a better idea of what rural NY is about.
I did, hoping to get back up there in July and August for some riding. Have to meet up with some local friends up there for some riding.

I'd like to make it up in the summertime, friend has a place locally, so hope to get a permit and ride during the summer months. Was a blast!
Wish I could have meet up with you guys. I live there and ride the tughill all the time

Never had that problem. Bought my permit right from the Lewis county offices.
Cool. I saw the list of sellers from the lewis cty video we did, but have to just get up there this summer.
Funny cause this shitty state doesn't like ATV'S. Too bad we don't get snow anymore.
I miss the real snow we saw in the past. 3 yrs ago, we were riding the trails in 12+ inches, so much fun.
We quit going they closed most of the nice Trails down you're pretty much just riding gravel roads around
