Hi Edward, A huge shout out to your 45 Video series! I watched all of them through 3 days ( No other readings or PMBOK), gave it a go and passed the exam with all three domains 'Above target'. Couldn't be happier. Thanks heaps! Your content is precise and easy to relate to through simple practical examples.
Wow!! That is such great news!! CONGRATULATIONS on attaining your PMP certification and welcome to the club! You made my day! Any tips to other aspirants on what they should focus on?
Hello again. How are you? I was wondering, at the time you applied for the PMP exam, how did you claim the 35 training hours that they require? Did you get the 35 hours requirement as a certificate from another source? or were you able to just use "self study" on your application?
Hey Ed, I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to you and your videos! I watched your 45 video series and passed my PMP Exam with "Above Target" scores across the board without even opening up my PMBOK lol. You are doing great things in the Project Management community and I'll be directing any aspiring project managers to your videos going forward. I wish you the best and hope that you keep doing what you're doing!
Congrats on passing the PMP exam! This is a great achievement and you have certainly made my day with this update! Any advice on type of questions that aspiring PMP'ers should take note of?

Just called PMI, I asked if I were to take the exam in spring, what edition will the test be on. Was informed it will be the 7th edition? Is that consistent with what you are hearing?
Hi Tom...at some point, PMI will shift to PMBOK7. However, the content of the exam will not vary from what we have now especially if you are also reading the Agile Practice Guide and making sure you understand all terminologies in this video. I wouldn't get hung up on the PMBOK version.
HI Edward, First off, great video. I am trying to see if I am ready for the exam, due in 3 days. I took the Google Project Management Certificate (I know this is CAPM level) and I also took the PMI PMP Prep Exam 3 times, getting an average of 80%. I understand most of these keywords, I would say 70% of them. I am googling the rest, that are Googleable :). When I say I know them, I basically understand their concepts but maybe not in a lot of detail. In your opinion, would you say this is good enough or should I go for your 45 videos?
The 45 videos cover PMBOK6 in details. Not sure what you mean by "I also took the PMI PMP Prep Exam 3 times, getting an average of 80%.". Were these exams? or a course? You need to know the content of PMBOK before taking the exam. Can't really say if you are ready as I don't know your background in project management and why you scored well on the exams. If you scored well because you pretty much know what's in the PMBOK from your own experience, you might be ready.
@@ProjectManagementVideos Thanks Edward! PMI offers a Prep exam for $99 - which is 262 questions. I took it 3 times and got an average of 80%. I understand the questions and concepts and this video also helped me with more research. I think I will watch the 45 videos and skim through them for extra prep - as I did not fully read the PMBOK.
Hi Edward, Thanks a lot for you. I have watched all videos in this course, it is really rich and very beneficial. I am planning to apply for exam within this month. Please could you make a video about (Agile management and Agile practice guide book) since it will be more easier to understand it. Thanks for your support.

HI , Good Morning, i am from am from India & engg background & i like your videos & preparing for PMP. i appreciate your videos, for the clarity & level of understanding. i have some doubts :- 1>Please how i can get 35 pdu ?is 35 pdu required to qualify for exam ? 2>also I , should i take PMI membership , for online exam of PMP ?
For the PDUs, you need to attend training for PMP or do self study. For the membership, it will save you money on the PMP exam, so it's worth it when u r ready to take the exam (online or in person)

Hello, I bought the PMBOK Seventh edition. Do I still need to buy the sixth edition + agile book??? Thank you for your answer.
I am not sure you can still buy PMBOK6. You can download for free if you are a PMI member. Exam is still based on PMBOK6
Which pmbok should we refer 6 or 7 if exam is in next 2 months..please suggest
Stick with PMBOK6 and the Agile Practice Guide

Dear Mr Edward
I am planning for PMP Exam by May Second Week
What will the impact of PMBOK 7th Edition this year
By May, I would say no impact. Just focus on PMBOK6 and Agile Practice Guide. Also, these 100 topics are essential to know.

Why not PMBOK7?
Pmbok 7 is not enough for the exam. You still need to know what’s in pmbok 6.
