Your exam simulator IS THE REAL DEAL!! I took 3 of the mock tests and I was absolutely shocked when I took the actual test and the questions were nearly identical 🤯. Your explanations on the mock tests were more valuable than the entire 35hr course I took. Needless to, I passed!👏🙏🙌

Hi Ray, I have just 1 month left to take my PMP exam and am yet to attempt the exam (actual project delivery got in the way this year unfortunately). My question: if I fail on my first attempt, is there a cooling off period I'd need to wait before attempting again? Thanks for the very useful videos
Hi Ray, I have recently passed my PMP exam, above target in all domains. Your videos were really helpful. Also, I found your mock simulator on Udemy helpful. Big thanks! Keep motivating & helping people pass the exams.

Thank you dear Ray for this excellent video. But what do you advise me as to the means of payment to the simulators because there is no credit card service here in Ethiopia?

Hello Ray, I recently passed the PMP exam, above target. I really appreciated your videos during my study process. Your videos helped me to slow down when analyzing questions and identify why certain choices were wrong. I also made use of your Udemy mocks which were also helpful simulated questions. Thank you so much for your strategies!!

Hi Ray,yesterday I have cleared my PMP exam. Thanks for uploading all the videos.Your Udemy questions patterns also helped. 90% questions were agile based and one point I thought I was about to fail. Though I had studied pmbok guide edition 6 thoroughly(Agile part),yet had some difficulties to answer and stick to my original time management plan!!Somehow I managed and now a PMP certified 😀. Those who are willing to take the exam,my advice will be learn agile and understand it in high level and practice agile based mock questions many as you can.

Ray, thanks so much for your great video! I watched all of it, and I'm keeping track of your tips and links in a Google doc that I'm using for studying for the PMP. I have two months to study for the test, so I'm dedicating time every day. I'll be watching and commenting on more of your videos.
Hi Ray, Just wanna share I passed my PMP exam with above target score. Thanks to your situational videos they are really helpful in real exam. Also your MBTI personality indicator questions and other questions are also very much useful during preparation. Thankyou so much for all this. It is really helping new PMP aspirants like me!!

After getting my application approved, fixed a date (15 Nov 21) for the exam and i was pretty much confused where to start & which one to follow. This video has helped me a lot to boost up my self confidence. Thanks a lot Ray for your guidance.
Hi Niloptal, thanks a ton for making these videos... I have surfed through a lot of online videos while preparing for my PMP and trust me I never came across any other channel as useful and informative as yours. It helped me a lot, I cleared my PMP yesterday 🤩 and thanks for your contribution to it. You are doing really great Niloptal, your videos will surely help a lot of other aspirants. I've watched similar videos and have to say this one offers a path to success. I'm going to use these insights to build my Training Plan! THANK YOU! #2021PMP
Hello Ray ! Thanks for insightful video. Can't wait to start preparing. Can you share some information related to the difference between pmbok 6th and 7th edition. Can I rely on pmbok 6th edition simulator to prepare for exam . Your reply would really help to kick off my pmp journey. Thanks
Hi Ray, thanks for this great video....Just one question, how can i check if exams are currently conducting home based or center based? or is it optional everytime?
Hi Ray - I am preparing for PMP exam in the following sequence: 1. Joseph Philips course on Udemy 2. Study Rita Mucahy’s Exam Prep 3. Study PMBOK 6 and PMBOK 7 (Some sections as per your suggestion) 4. Study Agile Practice Guide 5. Glossary from all texts 6. Formula guide from all knowledge areas 7. Understand ITTOs based on your videos 8. Mock Exam - Udemy - Yours, Tricia Roy and Diouan Abderrazzaq) 9. Exam Simulation - PrepCast After watching your video, I’m having doubts about the Agile section of the exam. Do you think Agile Practice Guide + Glossary + Mock Exams would be sufficient for preparing Agile section of the exam? Or should I also invest in one of the Agile textbooks?
Hi Ujjwal, I think you are already doing a lot in your prep. I don't suggest you get any other book on Agile. Just read up the critical concepts of Agile from Google to consolidate your understanding. Else, PMBOK6 & 7 is quite self-explanatory. Also, it's extremely critical that you analyze the questions of Agile from your mocks that you get wrong. This will fill in the gaps in your understanding. Cheers!
Hello, this is the sequence I propose: 1. I would suggest you start with watching this video from my YT channel that talks about the PMP preparation as per the new format of the exam: ua-cam.com/video/FtrtzlTVH0M/v-deo.html 2. Next, please download my e-book on How to Solve Scenario Based Questions in the PMP Exam here (it’s FREE): www.pmpwithray.com/pmp-situational-questions-and-answers-ebook-free-download/ 3. You may also wish to check out my PMP mock exam simulator on Udemy which will prepare you as per the new format of the PMP Exam in 2021: www.udemy.com/course/pmp-exam-situational-question-practice-test-200-q-pmbok6/?referralCode=6E0209F2D1951242E85A 4. If you are looking for a 35-hr/PDU course which is PMI approved and will be required to hand-hold you through the entire syllabus of the exam as per the new format (this will also meet your 35 PDU eligibility criteria), please check this course by Andrew Ramdayal on Udemy- (it’s quite good and highly rated as well): click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=NhAafuSJkzM&mid=39197&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.udemy.com%2Fcourse%2Fpmp-certification-exam-prep-course-pmbok-6th-edition%2F
@PMPwithRay Hello Ray, I just register to take the exam on Dec. 22nd. I just bought the PMBOK 7th edition. Should I also buy the 6th edition? I am a bit confused which should I focus on given that the 7th edition is the latest now. Thank you for your assistance and I appreciate your help.

Thank you for the awesome info Ray Sir. i havent started yet. Will be starting my course from tomorrow. But you already gave a good idea and boost to my morale. One thing i want to ask is whats the minimum duration it takes for one to grasp all the knowledge and be ready to sit for the exam?
Hello Jai. For a food prep time as per the new format of the PMP Exam, take between 3-4 months (considering 3/4hrs of study on weekdays and 6/7hrs of study on weekends).
Hi Ray. I’m all ears. I just took the PMP this morning and got my exam revoked after 125 questions due to technical issues. But my question is this: If you don’t answer all of the questions does pmi automatically Fail you in the exam? Or is it almost setup where you have to answer all of the questions to meet their exam algorithm? Im very discouraged right now. But I’m starting from scratch with your courses. Honestly the mock exams were helpful but my exam today had a lot of choose 2 or 3 answers, a few long match to the correct term. So PMI is definitely changing things up from mostly situational questions. They are definitely making the exam more challenging
Hi Jeanine, I always recommend not to write the test from home, I have said that multiple times across multiple videos. Sometimes when you logout & login to the Pearson Vue system after an unexpected error, it may mess up all of your previous responses. Exam centres are much more reliable. Anyways, what’s done is done…please make sure the next attempt of your’s is from a exam centre and not from home.
This video is on May 2021 and is relevant to the new format of the pmp exam regardless you take it in Dec-21 or Jan-22. For the exam you need to read both PMBOK-6 and PMBOK-7. Please check my most recent video that talks about what to read from PMBOK6 and PMBOK7.
Question here: is the pmp exam like the capm exam. what is the difference between the two. i am stuck with starting the capm or the pmp with having little knowledge of pm.
HI Racquel, if you have minimal knowledge of PM, you should anyway have to go for CAPM first, for PMP you need min. 36 months of formal project management experience..
Hiya- OVERPaid for an online course and- after 20 hours of 35 completed- learned more and felt MORE confident just watching this video than during all that time!! I will definitely be watching all of your videos as I prepare for my exam. Thanks for the great advice!
Hi. The PMP Exam is still heavily based on PMBOK6. Please read this document (esp. Q-17): drive.google.com/file/d/1pxCISqfWqrZcjdpa9rbIZgfgxZvBipTL/view?usp=sharing
Hi Ray, great video with many useful tips. I saw your list of paid simulators and wondered if you have attempted the PMP exam simulator or if you would recommend it as well?
Hello Ken, yes I had attempted quite a few paid simulators from the list I had mentioned and I found them very useful. But remember, the key is to analyze your mocks very thoroughly once you have written them...regardless whichever simulator you choose.
Hi Ray, I am a PMP aspirant with experience in the construction industry. not been familiar with the Agile concept...my weak area. so can you suggest to me whether starting my prep from the Agile concept first is a good idea or not, where considerable qns are coming as per ECO 2021??
Hi Suranjan, yes Agile is very important for PMP 2022 since 50% of the questions are Agile/Hybrid based...you should make extra effort to understand the subject and practice as many questions as possible. Below are a few Udemy Courses you can take for understanding Agile: click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=NhAafuSJkzM&mid=39197&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.udemy.com%2Fcourse%2Fagile-management-scrum-complete%2F click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=NhAafuSJkzM&mid=39197&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.udemy.com%2Fcourse%2Fagile-scrum-for-beginners-scrum-master-certification-preparation%2F

Hi Ray if you please I just get my PMP exam application approved, I'm planning to take the exam on September 2022 I need to know which book should I follow the 6 edition or the the 7th ?
Hello Mohamed. You need to follow both PMBOK-6 and PMBOK-7. Please check this video here I have discussed this in detail: ua-cam.com/video/dPz2B-fAWaA/v-deo.html
Hello Sir i don't know how to prepare for this exam. I have completed my bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Can we please connect on social media so that i can get your proper guidance about the exam and i can clear all my doubts?
Hi Aman, yes you can follow me on LinkedIn and UA-cam to get notified for updates regarding the PMP exam preparation resources. LinkedIn Group: www.linkedin.com/company/pmpwithray/
Hello Sir, your video is really very nice and helpful.. I want to ask that I am from Electrical background and working in construction project field so PMP is beneficial for me?
That depends Hemant. The key thing is, you need to perform the roles & responsibilities of a project manager such as managing budget, managing funds, managing resources, quality, delivery etc. etc.....if you have done those, you can definitely apply for PMP... Note that a ‘project’ should have a definite start & end + convey a very tangible before/after scenario. Routine roles such as of maintenance, administration etc. are not treated as projects.
Hi Ray, i am planning to prepare for PMP exam. But really don't know where to start from. How to proceed. I don't have prior experience in project management. I have gone thru the courses .. the terms and terminologies are difficult to understand in one go. Where should I start from! Should I register some course on udemy and then start the journey... Or just by going thru these recommended books to start with...
Hi Pratibha, you need to follow the below sequence while watching my UA-cam videos: 1. How to pass PMP exam in new format: ua-cam.com/video/FtrtzlTVH0M/v-deo.html 2. Hi Ray! I just ordered the PMBOK 7 and will start my studying July 1, 2021. How many months/hours of study do you recommend? Will you be making a video around PMBOK 7?
Hi Leb. the PMP exam is still based on PMBOK6 and continue to be based on the same till the ECO is updated. So, I propose you follow the PMP ECO (irrespective of the PMBOK edition) and start studying for the exam.
ECO is the official syllabus of the PMP Exam. It's the PMP Examination Content Outline. Search for the term on Google and you will be able to download it.
Hi. The modules are same papers but with 10min breaks in between. Please check this video to understand better: ua-cam.com/video/2bw2HKqT7DE/v-deo.html
Hi Sabin, ideally you need to study both. If you get a 1-yr subscription of PMI, you get both PMBOK 6 & 7 for free + plenty of other PMP prep resources exclusively from PMI.
This is very helpful, Ray. I have been in the following your videos ever since I decided to take my PMP exam. I am currently awaiting a decision on my PMI application. Quick question... The latest PMP course outline now doesn't specify which edition of the PMBOK Guide one should use. Do you think it should be ok to still use the sixth edition, or should I be switching to the seventh?
Hi Sumeet, Hello. Right now (and for the foreseeable future) the current PMP exam (2021 format) will remain based on the PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) [bit.ly/2QPSoo6] and will not be updated based on the new PMBOK 7. There has been an effort by PMI to "decouple" the PMP exam from the PMBOK Guide. The PMP exam is based on the PMBOK Guide, sixth edition as just ONE of the exam resources [bit.ly/2RegdpB] to cover the topics mentioned in the ECO. Remember, the ECO is the Bible! Here's what PMI says: "The PMBOK® Guide is an input to preparing for the PMP® exam - and is listed as a reference - but it is not a test-preparation tool. The new PMP® exam, which launched 2 January 2021, will continue to use the PMBOK® Guide - Sixth Edition as one of several references." I would suggest you read this FAQ document by PMI (esp. Q-17) that will clear most of your doubts regarding PMBOK7 and its linkage to the PMP Exam 2021: drive.google.com/file/d/1pxCISqfWqrZcjdpa9rbIZgfgxZvBipTL/view?usp=sharing
Hello Ray, thanks a lot for your videos..am starting to study now..am bit confused from where to start? do i start studying from RITA or the PMBOK?also, any idea when the exam will be related to PMBOK Ver7? I planning to take my exam in September..will it be Version 6 still?
Hi Yasmine, you should start with a text book first (Rita) and then read PMBOK6. The PMP Exam will be based on the current ECO as I see in near future. Even if PMBOK7 comes out, the PMP exam will still be based on PMBOK6 till the ECO especially calls out PMBOK7. If you write the exam in sep-21, it will still be PMBOK6.

Bro....your videos helped me a lot, like a LOT!! with the PMP Exam prep when the exam was harder (old version). I'm doing PMI ACP prep these days...do you plan to have any videos on that? If you haven't done the certification, would you be interested in doing it with me?
Hi Somendra, thank you for the note. Wish you all the best with your PMI-ACP prep. However, that certification doesn't suite my profile and hence I will not be pursuing it at the moment. Cheers!
@@PMPwithRay oh, I understand. Thanks for you the response. You are doing really awesome work with helping us out with the PMP Certification actually! I did not even have a job when I started preparing for the PMP, now I'm thinking about moving faster than my peers due all this I have gained. Thank you for all this knowledge!!

Hi Ravi, the new format of the PMP Exam - 2021 is primarily based on PMBOK Ed. 6 + Agile Practice Guide by PMI. However, you will need to study a few sections from PMBOK 7th Ed. as well. These sections are mentioned in my 'PMBOK 6 and PMBOK 7 Mapping Document' which you will get access to once you register for my Udemy course: www.udemy.com/course/pmp-exam-situational-question-practice-test-200-q-pmbok6/?referralCode=6E0209F2D1951242E85A
Hi Ray - Just want to share a good news that today finally after 3 months of effort I have passed my PMP Exam on first attempt with AT in all 3 domains. Hello. I am a researcher and have my PhD in bioinformatics. I am willing to mould my career towards project management. But need some help. Tell me the best possible way to contact you
Thank you Sir. This was real Informative Video. I am Planning to appear for the exam in November 2021, Shall I start the preparation now? Will the syllabus change before that?
Hi Devjyoti Yes, you may start your preparation now.I would suggest please don't book your exam date before Aug 21 so that you should be safe even if PMBOK 7 comes out . But it is very important to note that you should follow the ECO to understand which PMBOK edition the PMP exam board is following. It is not necessary that the PMP ECO will change immediately after PMBOK 7 comes out. PMI can still follow PMBOK 6 for PMP exam for a few months after PMBOK 7 comes out.

Hi. Yes, my website & my Udemy courses are all updated as per the 2022 edition.

Hello Meenakshi. As of now, it is still optional every time. You will get the option when you book the slot.

Please help me the textbook like PMBOK edition 7 and pre exam pmp simplified please 🙏🙏🙏
Hello, you can find PMBOM -7 from Amazon or PMI Website. PMP Exam Prep simplified is also available on Amazon!
Hi Ray - I am preparing for PMP exam in the following sequence:
1. Joseph Philips course on Udemy
2. Study Rita Mucahy’s Exam Prep
3. Study PMBOK 6 and PMBOK 7 (Some sections as per your suggestion)
4. Study Agile Practice Guide
5. Glossary from all texts
6. Formula guide from all knowledge areas
7. Understand ITTOs based on your videos
8. Mock Exam - Udemy - Yours, Tricia Roy and Diouan Abderrazzaq)
9. Exam Simulation - PrepCast
After watching your video, I’m having doubts about the Agile section of the exam.
Cheers!
@@PMPwithRay Thanks Ray! Appreciate it!

1. I would suggest you start with watching this video from my YT channel that talks about the PMP preparation as per the new format of the exam: ua-cam.com/video/FtrtzlTVH0M/v-deo.html
2. Next, please download my e-book on How to Solve Scenario Based Questions in the PMP Exam here (it’s FREE): www.pmpwithray.com/pmp-situational-questions-and-answers-ebook-free-download/
3. You may also wish to check out my PMP mock exam simulator on Udemy which will prepare you as per the new format of the PMP Exam in 2021: www.udemy.com/course/pmp-exam-situational-question-practice-test-200-q-pmbok6/?referralCode=6E0209F2D1951242E85A
4. If you are looking for a 35-hr/PDU course which is PMI approved and will be required to hand-hold you through the entire syllabus of the exam as per the new format (this will also meet your 35 PDU eligibility criteria), please check this course by Andrew Ramdayal on Udemy- (it’s quite good and highly rated as well):

Where available pmp exam center s in india
Please check PMI website when you book exam date. ALl Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities have Pearson Vue centres.

Hi Ray , this video is from May ., Now in Nov or Dec 2021. or Jan 2022 exam which version of PMBoK should be referred 6 or 7?
This video is on May 2021 and is relevant to the new format of the pmp exam regardless you take it in Dec-21 or Jan-22. For the exam you need to read both PMBOK-6 and PMBOK-7. Please check my most recent video that talks about what to read from PMBOK6 and PMBOK7.
@@PMPwithRay ok Thanks
Question here: is the pmp exam like the capm exam. what is the difference between the two. i am stuck with starting the capm or the pmp with having little knowledge of pm.
HI Racquel, if you have minimal knowledge of PM, you should anyway have to go for CAPM first, for PMP you need min. 36 months of formal project management experience..
What is ECO?
Hi. It's Examination Content Outline. It's the official syllabus of the PMP exam. You can find it to download from PMI website.

Hi Nikki, sorry to hear about your results. Wish you all the best for your 2nd attempt!
Below are a few Udemy Courses you can take for understanding Agile:

Hello Sir i don't know how to prepare for this exam. I have completed my bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Can we please connect on social media so that i can get your proper guidance about the exam and i can clear all my doubts?
Hi Aman, yes you can follow me on LinkedIn and UA-cam to get notified for updates regarding the PMP exam preparation resources.

Its been said that in December there will be syllabus change. Is it true.?
Hello Rebecca, the syllabus already changed on 2nd Jan 2021. The exam is as per new syllabus now.
Which UA-cam video of your channel should I start from to get started for PMP.
Hi Pratibha, you need to follow the below sequence while watching my UA-cam videos:
1. How to pass PMP exam in new format: ua-cam.com/video/FtrtzlTVH0M/v-deo.html

What is ECO? Cam anybody tell please?
ECO is the official syllabus of the PMP Exam. It's the PMP Examination Content Outline. Search for the term on Google and you will be able to download it.
@@PMPwithRay Thank you 😊
I'm taking PDUs from Andrew Course on udemy, is it sufficient for passing the Exam.
No. It's not sufficient. You need to solve timed mock questions as well as discussed in the video.
Thank you

How many hours/ days in the pmp exam? You mentioned about breaks...are there different modules or papers?
Hi. The modules are same papers but with 10min breaks in between. Please check this video to understand better: ua-cam.com/video/2bw2HKqT7DE/v-deo.html
Hello everyone so now shall I buy pmbok 7th or 6th edition I am super lost.
Hi Sabin, ideally you need to study both. If you get a 1-yr subscription of PMI, you get both PMBOK 6 & 7 for free + plenty of other PMP prep resources exclusively from PMI.
@@PMPwithRay thank you so much. I have now Rita’s 10 edition and agile practice is that enough?
You need PMBOK 6th and 7th edition as well on top. Plus a few mock simulators as found in the description section of my videos.
Hi Sumeet,
Hello.
The new PMP® exam, which launched 2 January 2021, will continue to use the PMBOK® Guide - Sixth Edition as one of several references."
I would suggest you read this FAQ document by PMI (esp. Q-17) that will clear most of your doubts regarding PMBOK7 and its linkage to the PMP Exam 2021: drive.google.com/file/d/1pxCISqfWqrZcjdpa9rbIZgfgxZvBipTL/view?usp=sharing
@@PMPwithRay Thank you so much again for a detailed response and for the reference to the FAQs.
u r my mentor.
Thanks a lot! :)
Thanks for the details.
What is cheapest and best way to obtain the 35 hrs of training?
Check this bestseller training from Andrew Ramadayal on Udemy for 35 contact hours. It's fairly cheap as well :)

If i plan to take exam in Dec 2021 ...do i need to prepare as per PMBOK 6 or 7
Hi Ravi, the new format of the PMP Exam - 2021 is primarily based on PMBOK Ed.

If I am planning to give the exam in Dec 2021 Whether the exam will be based on new format or earlier one?
New format. It has been rolled out since Jan 2021.
Please post for CAPM preparation too.
Thank you for the suggestion! Will definitely consider.
Thank you Sir. This was real Informative Video. I am Planning to appear for the exam in November 2021, Shall I start the preparation now? Will the syllabus change before that?
Hi Devjyoti
Yes, you may start your preparation now.I would suggest please don't book your exam date before Aug 21 so that you should be safe even if PMBOK 7 comes out .
