When i put off like maf sensor at air intake on c250 and Ive got check engine is on ...how i can to manual reset? To make check engine goin off... thanks
I got 2014 mercedes benz c250 same code P030200, Replaced ignition coil still misfire, than i check my injector on cylinder 2 not working cylinder is clear. Checked fuel injector in local Injector testing place, they said all injector works fine. Can be issue with PCM or ECU or any modules or wire issue?
Hi, I have a check engine light says cylinder 3 misfire. I replaced all the spark plugs and ignition coils. The light did go off for a while. After driving 180 miles, the light will come back on. I manually erased the code, and after another 100 something miles, the light back on with same code. Do you know what could be the issue? Thank you.
If this happened to me, I would swap the coil with say #1 and spark plug with say #2 and erase faults and check again making sure that the plugs are torqued correctly. What this dues is eliminate a bad coil or plug if it stays on your bad cylinder. If it moves to the cylinder with the coil you moved then its a bad coil. If it moved to the cylinder with the plug you swapped then its that plug. if it stays on the "bad" cylinder then it can either be an injector issue or possible cylinder head issue. I hope this helps
I got the same year and model, came in with misfire p030100, swapped plug and coil with #2, it's not a hard trip of the code, but you can fill the misfire at times. Not sure what's going on with it.
Sorry for the late reply. So what I like to do is swap(misfire) coil with #2 and the plug with #3 so if the misfire transfers to either one you know what is the culprit. if you don't know the history of the vehicle and its service life I would change the spark plugs as Mercedes Benz recommends them be changed every 50k miles or 5 years as regular maintenance. I have also see a loose spark plugs cause minor compression losses which can cause erratic misfires that are so subtle that it wont set a light. 23nm is the torque for the spark plugs. A worn out transmission mount can also cause a vibration at idle that can sometimes feel like a misfire as well. I hope this helps in some form or another.
My friend has a 2013 Mercedes Benz c250 it won't start and vibrates. what kind of machine do you have to test it? could I order it online? He has spent over $2k with the mechanic and he feels that guy scammed him and car is not still working.
It could be lots of things unfortunately. The easiest way to diagnose this with out spending money is swapping parts. So if your misfire is on 3 swap the #3 coil with say #1 and swap #3 spark plug with say #2 and then erase faults and check again when/if the check engine light comes back on. If it moved to #1 its the coil. If it moved to #2 its the plug in which case i would replace all of the spark plugs. If it stayed on #3 then it requires knowledge and time/tools to further diagnose it. I hope this helps
Yes. It was an aftermarket cone filter. It sounded pretty cool but would work better if the air box could close as then only colder out of engine bay air would be all it was getting instead of really hot air from the engine bay
The S.A. Files im just saying incase any lights come up again from this car :) my engine light also came on today so i was looking up some common reasons in this car
I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. Usually when you have multiple misfires like that its do to the plugs being bad. In some occasions it can be the fuel injectors, fuel or even the cylinder head. I would start with plugs and see if that fixes the issue if you haven't already fixed it.
You need to take a class in Cinematography (101 level), or a course in joggling, or maybe even both, to stabilize that camcorder. At the end of your video i did fix my MB but ended going to Ophthalmologist to reset my eyes, however you do have a good sense of the topic at hand (I am not being a smart ass. My car has this problem as well I bought 4 brand new oem ignition coils and they just got here today ! Got 4 of them for $190 shipped on ebay
Always change both? Coil & spark plugs with that p0302 code?

We’re the spark plugs covered in oil? Mine had a leaky valve cover gasket that was causing misfire.
@@chris8576a In my particular case they were not but spark plugs swimming in oil will definitely do that as well.

Yo bro I got the same exact car but it’s a cylinder 3 misfire what could be the cause

These things can also cause engine codes if not installed properly
@@madoba8717correct but this issue was a an ignition issue.

@@madoba8717 its funny you say that because the customer totaled this car about 3 months ago. She is ok but the car didn't make it.
Hi i am getting the same problem, just more codes, all cylinder misfires....i can whatsapp u all the codes....maybe u can help me please....

I was away Europe 2 months ran perfect now it’s running like crap same problem
how many miles were on the car?
To be honest friend I dont remember but I know it was definitely over 100k
