Its actually a pattened plugin for a vocoder specific to the game. I doubt theyd ever release the plugin’s code/command prompt/settings to the Public. But im sure a talented guy out there somewhere can recreate it by sound recognition, and many monotonous hours of tedious tinkering though. Ive seen it done with others. Like the scream movie voice, Bane voice etc. Some people are so good, they can make an indistinguishable version so close to the original that you wouldnt be able to tell the difference. Hold out hope. Someone will do it at some point.
Strange is right... to a degree; there's no denying what Victor did was wrong; stealing funds, freezing neighbors' pets as a boy... But unlike most of Batman's rogues' gallery, he did it with the best intentions, not wicked ones. Strange is right that he should have consorted with others instead of embezzling money from GothCorp... but he is wrong that Victor is entirely responsible for all that has gone wrong in his life. He loved Nora, and when you touch her, you -will- find a heart of ice.
Too bad that in the comics, he's just a crazy asshole. Yeah, the whole thing about Nora? In the comics, he accidentaly kills her and just wants to make everyone suffer as much as he did. And while that makes the sympathy go out the window, atleast there is a sense of tragedy in it, since even at his worst, he was motivated by his loss and clearly still loved her. In the New 52, he never met Nora, he's just a creepy stalker.
ThePolishedSpartan My theory is that it's there because Snyder disliked fandom downplaying Victor's bad deeds (like when Grant Morrison made Magneto a fascist drug addict) or simply for the sake of a twist.
Markus Criticus i agree and you want to know something else before mr freezes story of him being a tragic human character with a wife he was just another b list villain no different than mr polka dot or crazy quilt in fact he was so unpopular dc was going to kill him off entirely it was this new tragic story that not only saved him from falling into obscurity but made him into one of the most popular batman villains ever so by Snyder and new 52s revision of mr freezes origins that completely spits in its mouth
@CheesyGranola Well Paul Dini wrote this game, who also reinvented his character in the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Heart of Ice." Although there are obvious differences between them, we can assume many similarities. In that episode, Victor didn't excactly steal company resources. The cryongenic project had been approved by Gothcorp executives, but when Ferris Boyle started realizing how much money it was costing he suspended the project. Unfortunately Nora was already frozen.
Goddamn, the last tape strange really did put it how it is with victor and Nora and what victor could of been doing and not what he chose to do instead
admittedly it's quite a spotty story for Victor. Seriously, I think he could've gone to Wayne Enterprises and they would've helped in some way shape and form. Really bummed they didn't write that in, where Nora is magically cured and so is Victor. Would mean the end to Mr. Freeze but hell I would love to see a happy ending for good old Victor and Nora.
yeah, but that's the point. If somebody you love very much was going to die from an illness and you know the cure was just within your grasp, who wouldn't go to extreme lengths to save them?
Poor Mr. Freeze. All he ever wanted was to find a cure for his wife. He didn't asked to be a villain. He was just trying to save a life and some asshole had the nerve to call him a thief?! Ain't that a shame?!
Still, the good point said by Strange is that IF Freeze had done what he did in the limits of the law (by trying to work with GothCorp, and by asking for help), it would have been faster to cure Nora. Besides, nothing says that Nora will be saved in the story of the Arkham-verse. But if they can do the same storyline the was continued with Batman Beyond (with Freeze deterioring, becoming mad, then being kept alive as a head and cloned in the future), that could be badass.
I got a very big question how can i get all those villains interview tapes with Hugo Strange in Batman Arkham City switch. I only manage to get the interview of Mad Hatter and the only tapes of Hugo Strange that i found in Crime Alley.
Damn....I actually feel bad for Mr. Freeze. It wasn't his fault that he was brought into this way of life, he was only trying to help everyone, especially his own wife. But now I am starting to hate Hugo Strange for trying to play the psychoanalyst game on Mr. Freeze.
It is quite astonishing isn't it? When ever you look at someone like the joker, they don't have that sort of...character as Victor. And with Strange stirring things up it makes things rather interesting.
I believe Freeze just became far too fixated on saving Nora, to the point where it became his one goal in life that he couldn't accomplish and he couldn't abandon trying to find a cure for Nora otherwise she'd die .If that happened, he wouldn't value his life anymore as he failed and has literally has no purpose in life. Nora is Victor's lifeline.

I’m not saying anything deserves to happen to Nora, and freeze isn’t as evil as other Batman villains, but he is still a bad person.
You have always had a "Heart of Ice" batman TAS reference FTW
Conversation between my two favorite batman villians right here.
out of all the batman villains i had the most sympathy for Freeze
He sounds like a Cyberman. It's such a great voice that you wouldn't think is intimidating out of context.
What a loyalty Mister Freeze from his wife. T_T
Poor Freeze, at least we know he's not really a villain. Just does what he does because of his wife. And he does help batman in the game.
Victor's selfishness is more him being impatient and hot-tempered (ironic for a cold man)
Victor is not selfish he is misunderstood.
Freeze is a cold man with a warm heart, Strange is a warm man with a cold heart.
@@jorgebersabe293 idiocy.
@@jorgebersabe293 Freeze is a cold man with a cold heart, and Strange is a warm man with a cold heart.
@@ElJodinro1353-xl5bm Do you tell that to anyone who disagrees with you?
I wish I could transform my metabolism.
Want it I in real lifeZ
I love this Freeze's voice. And FUCK Hugo is a bastard!
Does anyone know how they filtered mister freeze's voice to achieve that robotic effect?
Yes I too am very, very interested.
Hau5ratz it's very nice
They actually had to put shit in his mouth to create the robotic voice
Its actually a pattened plugin for a vocoder specific to the game. I doubt theyd ever release the plugin’s code/command prompt/settings to the Public. But im sure a talented guy out there somewhere can recreate it by sound recognition, and many monotonous hours of tedious tinkering though. Ive seen it done with others. Like the scream movie voice, Bane voice etc. Some people are so good, they can make an indistinguishable version so close to the original that you wouldnt be able to tell the difference. Hold out hope. Someone will do it at some point.
Mr.Freeze is Awesome!
Thank god Arkham Origins DLC cold cold heart connected his backstory to these Arkham city audio tapes.
freeis boyle?
ARKHAM ORIGINS COLD COLD HEART
Or.. BATMAN THE ANIMATED SEIRES HEART OF ICE
Both, both are good.
Mister freeze is the only one who has a real love story in Batman. As Hugo said, only thing freeze need is time
I like to think of this Fries as Calculon's early role.
If I could sound like Mr. Freeze in my everyday life I would.
I like how even though he's supposed to be American, in most media, he's portrayed as having an English accent.
Not english he has a Frasier accent or "posh American"
@@iama2509 It doesn't resemble an American accent at all. None of the usual pronunciations are present.
Worst intentions.
Bad intentions.
Not everything, but definitely a good chunk of the problems he has.
I do feel for him, but he's still evil. He's willing to trade one innocent life for another
Too bad that in the comics, he's just a crazy asshole.
ThePolishedSpartan But it's not like there was some popular, definitive version of the Dollmaker that they were poorly aping by doing that.
Not to mention in the new 52 is costume looks terrible.
Markus Criticus New 52 is possibly the worst thing to happen to DC comcis.
Heh…a man named Frieze has an enemy named Boyle
admittedly it's quite a spotty story for Victor.
If somebody you love very much was going to die from an illness and you know the cure was just within your grasp, who wouldn't go to extreme lengths to save them?
i read all these lines in Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice, and it sounded 10 times more epic.
Poor freeze I feel sorry for him and his accident
Save her wife and people.
You dont want Freeze to kill people, you want him to redeem himself, tou want him to cure Nora
Arkham origins cold cold heart dlc is described here
Poor Mr. Freeze. All he ever wanted was to find a cure for his wife. He didn't asked to be a villain. He was just trying to save a life and some asshole had the nerve to call him a thief?! Ain't that a shame?!
It looks like Mr. Freeze discussed the events of Arkham origins
6:44 gets me every time when I listen to mister freeze’s backstory.
If only Victor went to Wayne Tech.
Strange does have a point Mr freeze and evil Zemo.
Point taken ninja.
Mr. Freeze has the saddest life.
Wow. Even as a young boy he wanted to preserve life by freezing it
Time is not on your side, Victor.
two words: Nora FIELDS. There's literally nothing worse they could've done to such a good tragical character.
Still, the good point said by Strange is that IF Freeze had done what he did in the limits of the law (by trying to work with GothCorp, and by asking for help), it would have been faster to cure Nora. Besides, nothing says that Nora will be saved in the story of the Arkham-verse. But if they can do the same storyline the was continued with Batman Beyond (with Freeze deterioring, becoming mad, then being kept alive as a head and cloned in the future), that could be badass.
so this is what the whole cold heart DLC about in origins
3:20 based Strange
I got a very big question how can i get all those villains interview tapes with Hugo Strange in Batman Arkham City switch. I only manage to get the interview of Mad Hatter and the only tapes of Hugo Strange that i found in Crime Alley.
You have to collect riddler trophies and complete riddles in specific districts to unlock them
Mr. Freeze doing Richard O’Brien’s voice in Rocky Horror Picture Show.
He sounds like c3po translating the sith language in the 9th Star Wars movie
His voice sounds like a Cyberman in this - fucking terrifying.
*sniff* I know, right? Choosing a more sympathetic reading to his character really helps you see the virtue behind his "mad experiments".
It'd be cool to see tape 4 played over the scenes from Arkham Origins
His electronic voice is scary
That machine could've saved lives, Boyle sucks
Damn....I actually feel bad for Mr. Freeze. It wasn't his fault that he was brought into this way of life, he was only trying to help everyone, especially his own wife. But now I am starting to hate Hugo Strange for trying to play the psychoanalyst game on Mr. Freeze.
It is mr freeze fault.
Nora is Victor's lifeline.
because he never really cared for anyone else or life to begin with. One person cannot encompass your reality
We know a remote farm in Lincolnshire. Where mrs Buckley lives. Every July, peas grow there.
