- We were able to watch Craig Morgan at the Grand Ole Opry Saturday night. It was our first trip to country music's legendary show, and it was super cool! At the end of the show, Craig Morgan surprised fans by announcing he was reenlisting in the military, then did it right there on stage. All the goosebumps!!
I’ve always respected Craig Morgan! He’s always praised our Military. Makes me proud to be a Veteran!

27 to be exact, another 11 that we are in relations with. Whether it's trade, tourism, or whatever.
Making friends isn't the issue. It's the bone headed politicians who get us laughed at. Not the military.

Someone with his previous service and age, with the amount of years out of service. This process to reenlist most likely started well before Aldeans song came out. He has been involved with USO tours, performing on military installations and everything for many years too. So again, I doubt the a song decided to make him chase clout.

My dad was an army vet served in viet nam even though hes been gone for nearly 12 years nowim still proud to call him my hero my next door neighbor is a navy vet who is in his 70s i salute him and thank him for his service every time i see him outside

I just now watching this now....and it was 10 yrs ago today 7/15/2014 I seen Craig in concert at our County fair and it was awesome. We always have a great country singer every year, but I hate it now that I haven't been able to go due to major health situations and can't walk around all the crowding. But the ones I have been to, like dear Craig here, I have tones of pics and videos I did at the concerts. I'm so proud he reenlisted in to the military.

I served 20 yrs in the USAF. Most of these kids nowadays wouldn't last a month once they were told that they couldn't have their phone constantly.

Is this for real? He's a little old to re-enlist isn't he? He's got to be close to 60. I didn't know they would let people re-enlist after a certain age. That's crazy.
Last I knew as long as you could hit 20 years of service before age 62 you could re-enlist. He did like 17 years when he was younger. I think he is 59 now, so he re-enlisted at just the right time.

He is serving in whatever capacity the American people need him to serve. Whether that means combat or (more likely) just playing music, he is offering himself in service to the American people.
The same as every other military member, our continued freedom and protection. Go other places it's so different.

I think he folded it correctly and needed to accommodate a live performance. Overall impressive and honorable.
I just saw this. I am doubting his reenlistment. I know a man who recently retired from the military. He had left and then reenlisted....he was 42 when he reenlisted. He had to go reserves because of his age. If hed waited a few years, they wouldn't have taken him back at all. So....I don’t know.
Re-enlisting is re-enlisting. Whether it’s Active or Reserve. Im assuming he re-enlisted as a reservist in some special capacity that probably helps with recruiting.
Is that his wife or a senator?
Why didn’t he have his rank on his uniform like everyone else?
