I am a 79 year old female fan of Post Malone. I have been following him since 2017 and have so appreciated his warm, polite and always respectful persona with his fans. I took my grandson to his first concert with Post Malone because I wanted to share this experience with him. I attended the second Post Malone concert for my 75th birthday. I have watched him transition from hip hop/rap to pop and now to country his true love. I think he has been undervalued as a performer in the music industry from the beginning but to his fans he is a constant joy and delight to see what he will do next. I think he is one of a kind musician that can’t be pigeonholed into a particular genre and he is doing what he loves now. Good for him.

I started listening to Post Malone at a low point in my life. My daughter moved out and wasn't talking to me, my husband died I lost my job and several things happening at the same time. Listening to him put me in a sort of happy place when I didn't have much to be happy about.
I feel bad that I prejudged him early in his career. I didn’t write or say anything mean, but I thought it. He’s a great example not to judge a book by its cover. As it turns out, this book is undeniably special, and deserves all his success and support. We need more caring people like this.

I remember telling my husband at the time that I was scared he was going to O.D. I clearly remember saying he looks so sad. Empty. Lost. My husband who could care less about music or anything pop culture was like ok but why are you upset. I said because we will lose one of the most creative musical minds of this generation. I'm 48. My son is 21. My daughter 26. We all fell in love with him when White Iverson came out. I'm so happy to see light in his eyes and him talking about the struggles. Post Malone is one of the kindest person with a genuine soul it crosses over into his music. I was introduced to his music by my then 15 year old son on his first album I’m so glad I taught my son’s to listen to all genres of music Posty is one of my favorites

He and several of his musician friends played all sorts of genres of music. And you could tell he legitimately knew those songs in a wide variety of styles. His guitar skills and natural singing voice were very impressive during that live recording also, even though up until that point a lot of his recorded stuff used autotune.

I hope he is able to find effective treatment for his depression, and cut back on his drinking and smoking, so he can be around a long time for his daughter. But sometimes the creative sensitive types have a hard time tolerating this world.

All the success has done nothing but humbled this man. He is a rare breed. Very few on this earth could handle this level of fame and fortune with the class, love, respect and appreciation that he has.
Some people are so sensitive, emotional and dependent upon human connection. He is the type of guy that needs a family. But he must tackle his addiction which is a burden he still carries. So many very emotional people need a crutch like this but he must recognise that the love and acceptance he has from his family and his loyal fans is enough to sustain him. It isn’t easy being such an empath and he will have to work on his boundaries. One way is to keep reminding himself of the positivity he brings to people and his responsibilities.

Five years ago, I was a new fan at age 72 and I would mention Post Malone to young people and most had no idea who he was, but things have changed! He writes about depression, anxiety, loneliness, substance abuse, disappointment..... He writes songs about Real stuff people go through!! Even with All that fame and $$ he wasn't happy? I’m 46 and absolutely LOVE LOVE Post Malone since the beginning. My kids and I bond over him and it’s always a blast. Never seen him yet, but I watch every single video and interview,l buy anything that has his face or name on including his wine. Seems like a genuine stand up man. I suffer from depression as well and this story gives me hope. He’s a beautiful genuine person and will always support everything he does! Love you Posty!!!!❤

So glad I subscribed because you featured my all-time favorite singer/performer! Five years ago, I was a new fan at age 72 and I would mention Post Malone to young people and most had no idea who he was, but things have changed! I am 77 and I remember them calling culture vulture. I now have a tattoo as a tribute to Post and a nice collection of Posty merchandise.
