@@fabianspennare BMC is sending me a new generation 01 frames set to replace my 2022 01. They warranties the RAD twice and now are hooking me up with a new gen frame

Happy to hear you get the help you should get and that they are replacing warranties. Sadly these bikes are a bit famous for having many issues with their RAD system. I guess it is in engineering terms a great system and very advanced but maybe to advanced and lacking reliability.

I am happy you liked it! I was surprised that it was no where to be found or any videos showing how it was done but now there is 😊👍🏼

Where did you order that special tool?

I placed the order at a reseller who ordered it from BMC, I can tell you it was much less expensive than what I had expected 👍🏼

What problem were you trying to fix by changing the bushing? Mine is only a 2 month old but there is a alot of play/movement in the post and it creaks/noisy

Hey James im having the same issue but mine is brand new never ridden, it has like a 1mm play/movement if you try to rotate the seatpost, any suggestions?

I had a more urging issue when this was done which was that I did not get the seat post to extend back to full length, it was stuck and did not push up. I tried adding air pressure without results then I was recommended to change the bushings which solved the issue for me.
If I remember correctly this seat post had a little bit of play, maybe not as much as you describe but I think it all comes down to how well the 2 bushings were installed from the beginning. If they are installed with a little bit to much force they will become thinner and give the play.
Hope this helps and sorry for the slow answer.

I sadly had the same issue, I think it is part of the solution since it is much different then a normal dropper post. I would go to the reseller you bought it from and ask them. Good luck!
