Seeing the Crowes over 30 times and being born in Motown, I am so thankful for this post. As a brain Cancer patient I can no longer catch the shows,. I loved the Velvets version from day one but consider this as good as any cover the Crowes, (and that's really saying something!) I have to hold back tears of joy seeing this. My fav live band in our nations rock and roll capital. (Sorry Cleveland) Anyone who does not appreciate the massive talent in this band, SIMPLY DOES NOT GET IT!!!!

Beyond AWESOME! Thanks so much for sharing this. I wish I could see them live before their hiatus so much, but I'm too far away and can't travel right now! Oh well, I rely on great UA-cam uploads as this. Will be watching it all day for sure! Thanks again :D

the one with Mr. Cale playing viola, or the version on Loaded? are they both real, or is one unreal and the other real? the one with Mr. Cale playing viola sounds pretty unreal, but it was obviously recorded before the version on Loaded with Doug Yule playing the 3rd best lead guitar solo i've heard and Billy Yule banging away on drums as Ms. Tucker was on maternity leave. i don't know, the early version with viola kind of grows on you, but after listening to the version on Loaded for 40+ years
