I made this today and it was brilliant! Reminded me of Darjeeling and having hot momos at Tiger hill!
Btw, i made some with a stuffing of corn, paneer and cheese with salt, pepper and chilly flakes. Please try it that way, they taste heavenly even though not the healthiest I'm sure 😆

Doesn't the veggies give a raw taste and without ginger and garlic does it give a wow momo taste?
@@madhurisethia3797 steam is higher in temperature than hot water. The veggies get cooked in steam and don’t taste raw. You can add any flavour you like but this is the most basic recipe. There is garlic in the chutney so not needed in momos.

This is best recipe and easy for beginners too , you can make it easier or as complicated with stuffing change and using wonton wrapers for dough , thanks a lot

I want to ask 2 things here:
1. Whenever I prepare dough n make rotis out of it, it stretches but also get reduce . How to avaid that strech?
2. I don't have steamer like yours but I make steamer with kadai ,with a stand n plate inside and cover it with lid. But still I don't get white cover of momos like street one. They are not thin n soft as street one.

Ok in that case you can roll big roti after that cut with the help of steel glass like this you can save your time.
When you roll momo wrap don’t keep too thick try to roll it thin
About colour there are bleached flour you can buy from market try using that brand 🙏🙏

If you stir fry veggies and stemmed it again your vegetables will be overcooked so much better use directly.
Do we need to squeeze the stuffing as well to get rid of water the cabbage releases?

You can make with roasted penuts,chilli and salt according to your taste 🙏
Soaked dried chillies, handful of garlic and a leaf of cabbage and grind with salt.
