Can you review my portfolio below : 1.Bandhan ELSS tax saver direct fund.(mostly containes larger portions of large cap companies with elss benefits) 2. Kotak emerging equity fund 3. Parag parikh flexi cap 4. Quant small cap ( going to change this one as major percentage allocation is to reliance with 9 percent , thinking of going with nippon small cap as it is well distributed) Each has SIP of 5k and I'm focusing long term , can you give suggestion if it's a good one or suggest changes. Personally I'm thinking of increasing sip to 10k for one fund but I'm confused if it should be for kotak or small cap like nippon
I don't know your age/ risk apetite / family situation etc and I'm not a financial advisor. However, just by looking at the portfolio I think it's solid. I would skip the ELSS fund esp if you're on the new tax regime. Save tax some other way. I would move to Nippon Small cap, Quant strategy doesn't make sense to me. It's maybe too advanced for me haha. If under 30 or in 30s and high risk can be taken, then most of the SIP should be on the small cap fund.
Isnt High AUM of hdfc fund concern for midcap fund, as aum grows they will not be able to buy more midcap stocks with higher aum and would just buy large cap stocks
Good point. As of now, the fund is doing well. In future, you can keep monitoring the exposure to mid cap and compare returns vs the mid cap index to make a decision about this accordingly.
Ok, I won't go by "current" performance as current performance doesn't matter for your long term goals. However, based on the video if you find the metrics good enough, I think it can be a good pick as well. Just do your research as per the process I've explained.
Good question. We cannot expect similar results in future if we compare to past results, even if the fund manager is the same. This is due to the way markets work. However, fund houses usually want to maintain consistency even when they change the fund manager. That being said, I agree there is no guarantee the new fund manager will have a similar style/ returns as the previous one. If you are uncomfortable with the changes or unsure about the new manager, explore other funds with similar objectives and strong track records. If you want to continue, then monitor the new fund manager and the performance and then take a call. For now, I'm not switching the fund out but if I do, I will make a new video.
Yes they have good returns. It's just a bit too much buying and selling for me so I don't want something like that for a decade or more. It might work really well in the long run too but i just like to invest where the investing strategy is comfortable for me.

Pick the one you like :) and more importantly the one you can stick to long term. That’s going to be the best one for you
