Wolf, two things, first that sabre you grew so attached to at the end is actually called a messer (German for knife) and two Undead Citadel finally released.
My favorite parts of this game have to be the rock solid physics and the combat that doesn't pull it's punches! The physics especially coming from Blade and Sorcery where I have to go all code-guru on several mods just to make to my it a little less wacky-wavy-tube-man-y (sry B&S). It's feels *_great_* to fight enemies that don't flail their arms about and trip over themselves, AND attack me with fierce and super cool looking attacks! The pre-animated attack strings was a good choice from the devs. Except for that one attack from the flying wraith enemies... _it haunts me..._
That big floating master looks like the guy that Wolf would put in the beginning of his videos for a bit of “Wolf lore” and I still haven’t been able to find out who his is or even where he’s from! If anyone knows please lmk
I'm working on a mod for this game that allows hand tracking and use of hands and no controllers. I have an idea on how we can control everything without the need for controllers anymore. It's really not hard. Simple math.
You can summon weapons you've unlocked at the temple by clicking on its picture. You can also summon an non aggro orc to practice on from a menu on one of the pillars
This game is super impressive considering it was mainly one guy and feels super good. The gun blade later is so awesome along with a ton of other cool weapons and magics stuff. You can even rip apart the skeletons and break the goblins necks. Also I swear on my life, the demo had it where if you jumped off the cliff in the spawn/menu area like 4 or 5 times you get access to the cheat and mod menu!!! Glad you could show this game off I hope to see more!!!
I really like hellsplit Arena, but it lacks of à Real game mod with a évolution systèm, and Aldo more ennemies types and animations. Maybe this game could do that

I realize they only "Stop" after you hit them once, presumably so if you're doing damage they don't jump away or something wonky, though maybe reduce that stand still delay to like 0.5~1s between hits so they animate quicker. But I'm not dev it just looks like they stand there for a really long time when being struck lol \o/. I'm looking forward to any updates this game might get, it looks like its got the foundation of something pretty cool, and being done presumably by mostly one guy? Im so glad there are developers out there with VR passion projects like this, they're always so fun to play.

It's a Kriegsmesser (translates to "Warknife" which is a beefier version of the Messer sword, which in medieval europe, specifically the germanic areas, the peassants owned, to get around the "Swords only for the noibility or soldiers" law, since it is not a sword but a knife... just a really big one. a falchion would have a different blade shape, and no nail in the crossguard (the thing that protrudes from the flat side)
It gets much better, More enemies, bosses,etc. It's better than blade an sorcerys combat imo. The rooms have conditions somtimes making certain weapons and tactics more viable, The blade tracks reallyyy well, an parrying bosses combos legit feels like being in an anime. Just constant swings and blocks. It's definitely one you could do somewhat frequent, and is so much fun
So I'm just going to mention that you can rip the skeletons apart with your bare hands.

I'm pretty sure that the grab points already exist the upgrade just makes you able to grab any object instead of the specific areas.

when a skeleton is on the ground with glowing eyes it can come back
If you throw yourself off the bridge of the temple multiple times you unlock mods
if im not mistaken thats not a falchion its a messer note how the handle is like a knives and that theres no curve to the blade

There’s a cheat menu in the full release too it’s in their discord I think
Cheat menu is different now, you have to throw a specific series of weapons off the bridge.

Wolf if you jump of the brigde 7 or 6 times (maybe more) you unlock a cheat menu and you can spawn any weapon
Me and my brother play and I have to say... You'd HATE to cross him. He fist fights,he slices limbs off and goes BALLISTIC on the lvl 3 goblins

I've tried this game very early on in the development! It is a lot of fun! it's used to be incredibly hard with platforming :D
