I find an amusing for event 50 you still use Ganondorf. I remember as a kid on event 50 and going to GameFAQs it say that you should use. I find it amusing to that strategy hasn't changed in like 12 years.
CPU's can react to your moves by reading your button input because when you press something it happens the frame AFTER you press it (most of the time). So they can power shield it since the game reads your input and triggers their input depending on your input on the same frame, and they both come out on the next frame. It's even worse in Smash 4 because there is a frame buffer. For anyone wondering :)

I like to meme about requesting for SSBM 100% speedruns. Maybe the 5 gods could actually do it without dying of the inanity of it all. Just none of it makes sense. It's great.
I know this is 2 years ago, but if I had to guess the reason that music is off is because fuzzy was probably playing melee competitively like vs. there's only 6 tournament legal stages in versus so you here the same music a lot. I imagine they turned it off earlier while playing to listen to their own music while punking each other in melee, and then forgot to run it off.
18:14 On Event 28 you can save A LOT OF TIME if you learn to Ground Cancel Doc's Up B, the input to do so is similar to doing the extended upb with Mario-Luigi in Smash 64, I think it's documented somewhere on ssbwiki. Not only this applies specifically to event 28 but also can be used in any event where there are lots of opponents with low handicap enough to be one-shotted with Doc's Up B
Event at 18:20 could he up b cancel to kill them? Idk if you need the full up b for it to be lethal or if the full up b just covers more space to clear out more Kirbys
I never knew there was a green egg item... I saw it at 7:50 and I have 100% Melee without seeing that item. Is that item only in older versions of Melee? Because there is plain white eggs like the ones Chansey throws...
