2024 was a tough year for me too but I also had some Big wins one of which was paying off my credit card! I have started thinking about and planning 2025 and I also like to kick off the year with my version of a no spend challenge. It’s a good time to take stock and use up the odds and ends! Thanks for a great video!
Great budget!! My birthday is late in the year and it was going to affect my year in school and my mother begged them to take me because daycare was getting expensive and they did! Granted times are different now but I understand!
We’re doing a no spend month in January. Only necessities/ essentials. I feel like the hardest part for us is the no eating out/ no coffee out. I can’t wait to see what we save. 😄 as usual, love this video and seeing your plans for the month.
omg the daycare tuition is soooo obnoxious. lol. we hated it and i don't miss it one bit. we had our girls in daycare at creme de la creme when i worked full time.... bc that was what was only available to us at the time in the area that we lived (new development area) so we were stuck with daycare tuition at $1,400 per kid/month only bc they were 2 and under. it was extremely expensive bc they were still babies. it got 'cheaper' as they got older bc they can feed themselves and don't need potty training. about a quarter of our income was to cover tuition. sad.😂 so when we had our son...last child...i decided to stay home...then we sent him to preschool at a public school campus at 4yo....it was $10k for the school yr. thank god we are past all that now and have been using 'daycare/preschool' money for the past many years towards college.....so we are not using the money but it is being used. LOL. (oh the reverse psychology!) cheers to 20months left of tuition! yay! tfs!
We don’t explicitly budget for them. They either come out of misc or our kids budget. For my husband and I we usually use personal spending. My husband shaves his head so no haircuts for him LOL
Ugh I hear ya on the groceries. I’m currently pregnant with our 3rd and that’s going to put us over $2000 a month in childcare. Will nearly cost us as much as our mortgage costs. 🫠

Daycare is so expensive 😢 I set my goals low so I can feel accomplished 😂 we are working towards obtaining fire and we are more then half way.
I love that! Congrats that is a huge milestone!
Would love to follow if you have a channel
Putting money in your brokerage should also count toward your financial goals. Awesome budget. Happy holidays.
That’s true. Probably should add moving forward

@@DearDebt pregnancy brain- meant to day daycare not groceries. 🤪Those are high too though! 😂
@@TaylerGarzarek LOL I got your intention, but yes, they are both ridiculous so I totally get the slip up hahaha
