I discovered these guys by mistake while researching my summer trip to Japan. I am so addicted, because they are too loveable. You guys are so comforting to listen to after a crazy day at work.
@@pameladipzinski5752 The feed popped up for me since watching Strictly Dumpling! For once, UA-cam recommendation worked out awesomely. :) Love them so much.
The vibe of this video is similar to my experiences visiting Tokyo - random excited, disappointed, lost, surprises, moments of calm and then general chaos - all rolled into one.
Nostalgic. The Chinese dumplings are super popular in my hometown. My friends and I always used to go to a local shop after cram school to eat them... like everyday....
You guys are so adorable and it's truly a delight to watch you "take us" on your tours with you! Seriously though! Every time I watch you,I just want to give you both a hug! Well, and Justin too. Lol.
OMG, Japan-the street food, the snacks, custard, dumplings... Stayed four months in Kyoto in mid-80s and never recovered from the love. Stop saying “Mmmm!” You’re killing me here!
You guys are helping me plan my upcoming trip so much. I was in Tokyo earlier this year, but on medications that killed my appetite so I couldn't eat much at all. I'm going back next March and it's turning into a food trip to make up for what I missed first time round! Thank you for these videos!
Satoshi's smile at 15:26 can heal the world and Shinichi's smile at 15:30 is so warm! I am sitting here grinning from this. You two are amazing, thank you for sharing!
Shinichi, stop! Oh my goodness, my mouth was watering while watching you eat the soup dumplings. Soooo “ono” looking. Loving this video, and you too, Satoshi. Mahalo for another wonderful video.
I used to go to Milky Way so often when I was a high school student! It's decades ago and has not been changed! I always think how it is now inside everytime I go back to Japan and pass by there.
🍕🍕 I worked at a Shakey’s Pizza parlor in Sacramento, CA after high school 😃 the original Shakeys was here too, downtown. Your food and travel vlogs are so fun! 🥟🍙🍡🍦🥮🍻😋
Have a safe trip to HK, have fun, make fun videos! Can't wait to watch them! Just watched your Sakura video. Glad to see how comfortable you and Satoshi have become. Less tense, more relaxed and accepting. I am wishing you the best! Take care!
We stayed in Ikebukuro for about three days and it was our favourite place in Tokyo. And if you can navigate Ikebukuro station, you can get anywhere in Japan!
I love your streetfood tours! OMG! loved the cheese tart, you made it look so yummy that now I have to figure out what to eat to satisfy that craving, Lol! Thank you for taking us along I really do love these videos, love the both of you it's so much fun walking with you, I look forward to your next video.
I saw you guys on a talk show once and I didn't know you had a channel! Now I'm hooked. You're such a cute couple and your videos are so comforting and relaxing.
Great job again!! I sure miss those many choices of vending machines! Looks cold, but where I am it got down to 60 degrees below zero!!!! No walking outside for a lot of people. 🙁 AHAhaha...that little cheesecake looked it attacked Satoshi!! ❤️✌🏼❤️✌🏼
Love these street food tours - but was hoping more of a pre-planned adventures to certain destinations that are pretty known for a certain food. We look to you as the experts. However, i love getting lost with you and seeing Japan when you are walking around - it’s really fun!! 😍😍🥰🥰
This video is the realest! It's so easy to get turned-around in Ikebukuro. There are so many great little shops and big shops in the station. Best ramen nearby, even Nepali spicy fusion ramen! So glad you guys had fun. I miss food in Japan every time I'm away.
Thanks for this guys - i always find it hard to spot street food in tokyo 😆🙏🙏! Ringo! Reminds me of fuji apple them delicious crunchy and flavourful apple in nagano 😍! I wish i contacted you guys when i was in tokyo like dennis and time from stuffr, you guys are really humble youtuber and eater 👍😍, always inspiring delicious food that gets me drooling hehe
Those Bake cheese tart's must truly be amazing! I have seen so many people raving about them on numerous food vlogs. Also anyone else here in the US we now have a bake cheese tart here in the states in San Francisco, CA!
This is one of my favorite places I went while in Tokyo! We visited the pokemon center and I loved it! There is sooo much good food there too! Love this video.
All that food looked so good, my personal favourites would be the fried soup dumplings, the spicy tofu stick and those cheesecakes they looked like heaven. Like you i had a sad face when i saw that the dorayaki store was closed but i guess that they either have a limited supply to sell or they are just that good...I'm going for the latter option. But it's nice to see the less popular area's of Tokyo getting a shout out as places to go and get some tasty snacks. Great job as usual guys!! ❤️❤️❤️
It seems the best part of Japanese cuisine is that it's always TOO PRETTY TO EAT. The dumplings looked scrumptious. and even the spicy tofu stick was calling my name. The looks on your faces as you ate those tarts said it all! I wish I was there!!
My favorite way to eat those dumplings is to first drink the soup, then using the opening from my small bite, I fill the dumplings generously with chinese vinegar and chili oil(the chinese kind, unfiltered chili oil with the half layer of roasted chili on the bottom), and eat it in one bite. Then I get a hot-sour-meaty flavor explosion. :D
I am going to visit my daughter in Tokyo and she has told us to stay in Ikebukuro so thank you for the video coming from Ireland it gave us an insight into Japanese food x
Awww, love the new little sushi logo! Thanks for all the tips too 😊 I always go to Ikebukuro when I'm in Tokyo so now I'll have a few more food places to check out next time.
We love the huuuge Ikebukuro seibu depachika! We go there every time we’re in japan and also always pick up our meal for the train ride back to the airport to go home from there as well. We’re going to try the cheese tarts (we had a similar type from Sapporo station before, so good!) and the butter coffee place you recommended. Thank you guys!
Just love watching you guys sampling food. I’ll be in Japan at the end of Oct .....my biggest fear is not being able to suss out the food on offer - I’m gonna be one of those irritating tourists asking “what’s this?” ALL the time!
I'm gonna have to go to Saikyo no Butter Coffee when I go stay at Ikebukuro this summer. I have to do low carb and it's a little bit hard in Japan. I looked online and they have such delicious looking food and coffee and sit down area in Ikebukuro. Also is located very close to where I will stay. Thank you Satoshi and Shinichi!
I discovered these guys by mistake while researching my summer trip to Japan. I am so addicted, because they are too loveable. You guys are so comforting to listen to after a crazy day at work.

The apple pie and the cheese tarts are amazing.
It seems the best part of Japanese cuisine is that it's always TOO PRETTY TO EAT. The dumplings looked scrumptious. and even the spicy tofu stick was calling my name. The looks on your faces as you ate those tarts said it all! I wish I was there!!

*Coughs over all the dumplings* "These are just gonna be mine, okay." lmao
Sorry!
My favorite way to eat those dumplings is to first drink the soup, then using the opening from my small bite, I fill the dumplings generously with chinese vinegar and chili oil(the chinese kind, unfiltered chili oil with the half layer of roasted chili on the bottom), and eat it in one bite.
