I absolutely love (and sincerely appreciate) how you guys post the price of each item. I know it may scare some people off, but I appreciate not spending countless hours googling how much something is or going there and being surprised out of my shoes of how much the things are. Thank you so, so, so much!!
I'm always happy when the guys (Satoshi, particularly) feel relaxed enough to be a bit more intimate in public. As a member of the LGBTIQ family, I was glad to hear (in the Asian Boss interview) that attitudes are changing in Japan.
You guys seem to be more comfortable being a couple on camera and in public and I LIVE FOR IT! I think people should love whoever they want and have public affection with anyone I'm bisexual and so is my bf so (my pfp is us)
I must be a grandma, because I want to go to Sugamo! Everything looks absolutely delicious! It also looks like it might be the anko capitol of Japan, which makes me love it even more! You had one amazing anko treat after another. Wow! The senbei also looked so good. Thanks for the amazing video! I hope you're both doing well.
@Mindy's Mom It made me think of you, too, sister. You love those treats, too! We need to magically teleport ourselves there! Sending hugs and love to you and your family, too!
@Holly Hasegawa Nielson Absolutely! I love these videos. I know you love anko! It's so amazing, isn't it? I hope you are enjoying the weekend. Thinking of you!
Oh, my gosh. Everything looks so good and tempting. However, the food that caught my eye the most was the black sesame ice cream. Thanks for talking us along with you. I enjoyed looking at all of the shops along the street. By the way, I liked the background music.
Have you ever compared tofu makers from different areas of your ward? I remember one somewhere in Setagaya Ward that produced great tasting tofu products from fresh to fried daily. It might be interesting. Love your work. Cheers.
Thank you, I enjoy your adventures, family and Justin. We visited Japan last August and enjoyed it so much. My husband could not stop thanking me for taking him there. Watching your video brings back our fond memories of our travels there. Keep up the great work. Take Care on all your travels.
Sugamo is on my list for my upcoming Tokyo trip. I want to visit on festival days (4th, 14th and 24th) when they have more street vendors. I made note of the places you visited so I won't miss all those snacks. Thanks for the video!
Dango was my favourite. I loved trying the different snacks and street food when I was in Tokyo and Osaka last week. Your channel was really helpful in teaching me about what to look for and try. Thanks gents!
You guys are the sweetest couple I love all your videos! It has me so excited to come to Japan next month. Thank you for all your vlogs. Love from Scotland xx
Omg those Japanese pancakes with the butter look absolutely delicious 😍😍 I just love watching videos of Japanese street food, I really love your channel.
I really loved seeing this area. There are so many nice shops. Its still very much the mom and pop shops selling yummy goodies. The Siberia cake looked so divine!! Thanks for sharing this place!
OMG! I am a grandma and I for sure want to go to Sugamo, so many delicious looking foods. And so many anko treats which really makes me happy, I would be in anko heaven. I also love the senbei. Wow on the ice cream, the cone was so pretty. What an amazing video as always, thank you Shinichi and Satoshi, have a great day, bye for now.
I love your channel! I need to stop watching as much as I do because I get so hungry looking at all the delish things you guys try! lol You did inspire me to try Bibimbap from your Korean Airlines video. It was delish and I have your channel to thank for introducing me to a new fave food!
Loving ALL your Tabi Eats and collabs but especially these latest ones! You both seem more relaxed and enjoying “the work!” Great to learn interesting and tasty local areas outside busy Tokyo. I love Sesame anything, Mochi anything and good Napolitan!... so another area is added to my Must Go To List. Arigato Again!🌈❤️🌈
Hi guys! Your videos are presented very simply but fun to watch because you look like u really enjoy whatever you're doing. Satoshi looks much younger now that he's shaven. More power to you both! 👍🏽✌🏽😊
You prolly dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my girlfriend for the last few months =)
I've watched this video at least 5 times, and my mouth waters every time I watch it! Sugamo is also apparently on the Sakura Toden Railway route, so it's definately on my bucket list... food looks much better than the rainbow sweets at Harajuku. ( in my opinion, anyway.)Seems like a lovely relaxed place to go - thanks for the information guys! :)
this is an old comment but I am curious since you mentioned it are they together as a couple or just really good friends who are very comfortable with each other?
You guys are just amazing! I love the way you introduce the food and all your tips!! I am a big fan ! I suppose I have to lose some weight before I visit Japan! I want to taste everything !!!
"Keep feeding me, please!" I'm late to these videos, but as I watch I've been waiting for one to feed something to the other. This was the 1st time I saw Satoshi feed Shinichi 😁
I'm so happy you made this video! I have Sugamo on my plans for our trip because we wanted to go to Tsuta Ramen but not a lot of people have done videos in Sugamo!
This would be so amazing as a Netflix food travel series! I hop you two get the recognition someday because the effort you two put into these videos is so much fun and the music adds a bit of tradition to it~ 👍
I have tasted the black sesame seed icecream and it is amazing, a local chinese restaurant suddenly had it included in the icecream section for the buffet. Always be bold and try something new, dear viewers & readers ! Thank you for a great video, I am 40 but most certainly INTERESTED in SUGAMO
Hi Satoshi and Shinichi! Growing up in Hawaii, every time I ate a dorayaki and a castella cake, it was always, always stale! Even here in Maryland, it’s just as stale or if worse! Eating fresh dorayaki and castella cake is such a game changer! So jealous!
I borrowed my daughter’s ice cream maker just so I could try out some Japanese ice cream recipes that I found online. I can’t wait to try the black sesame recipe.
I always catch myself smiling whenever I watch your videos! Love you guys! Sesame sweets sound amazing especially if it’s like brownies! 😋 PS: I like the background music!
Love to watch your videos! You are both so positive and passionate about food , which makes me smile to the computer every time I see you :D I'm going to Japan in November and getting super excited already :)
I have a list of items to try: aji furai, anko & butter dorayaki, gold sesame milk ice cream, and as a gift for my husband, I'll get that cheese & natto senbei :D
I came to Sugamo on my last visit to Japan - well, I AM a Grandma - "Old ladies clothes" 😃 - but I see now I missed sooooo much that I have to come again. Thank you Satoshi and Shinichi for showing us so many good things. I need to make pancakes - I am craving them now! But SALT ... and PEPPER?!? Ok. I'll try it. I have been able to buy uncooked azuki beans here in Israel but to be honest I haven't a clue what to do with them. Maybe, as you talk about them all the time, you could do a cooking video showing us how to cook the beans? Please!!! 🙏
Absolutely loved this video guys. Everything looked delicious and I’m a huge fan of Mackerel so when we are there in August we’ll be sure to check out your mums recommendation. Omg and that black sesame soft cream....yummmmmm. Now we have another area to check out to add to our ever growing list lol. Awesome job guys!!
We stayed in Sugamo across from the famous temple (line ups to wash statue) 4 times for 2 weeks each time because we LOVED the neighbourhood so much. The new minipaku (sp?) laws have caused many good AirBnB to leave the marketplace otherwise we'd still be staying there! I never did buy the famous Red Underwear for Good Health that more than a few shops sell along that road.
I love Sugamo! I stayed here in an AirBnB right in the middle of the shopping street! The food was amazzzinnggg and always something new to try every day! There is also a crazy hair salon at the start of the street which I would recommend to anyone wanting unique styles/ rainbow hair! ♥ ♥ ♥
I stayed in the Sugamo area during my first visit to Japan and never went to the places you went to. I didn't know they were awesome because I couldn't read Japanese :( I did eat at Tokiwa Shokudo and had a kakigori at Atelier Sekka and both places were fantastic!
I absolutely love (and sincerely appreciate) how you guys post the price of each item. I know it may scare some people off, but I appreciate not spending countless hours googling how much something is or going there and being surprised out of my shoes of how much the things are. Thank you so, so, so much!!
You two are simply too cute for words!
When Satoshi feeds Shinichi, hearts flying every where! You guys are very cute!
15:06 Satoshi smiles brings me so much joy.
Awwwww :33 What a cute couple. Satoshi feeds Shinichi love that scene
Same :D Aww
I'm always happy when the guys (Satoshi, particularly) feel relaxed enough to be a bit more intimate in public. As a member of the LGBTIQ family, I was glad to hear (in the Asian Boss interview) that attitudes are changing in Japan.
Are they both gay?
Viktor reznov Uraaa yes they are a gay couple.
Love it too!
You guys seem to be more comfortable being a couple on camera and in public and I LIVE FOR IT! I think people should love whoever they want and have public affection with anyone
I'm bisexual and so is my bf so (my pfp is us)
Yes, I love this about them!

Erin Uber you and me both lol but I’d be a grandpa hahah

@Company with 3 Grandpas are surely welcome, too!!! I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Hi Erin, don't you just love these food videos, I love anko so much.
@Holly Hasegawa Nielson Absolutely! I love these videos. I know you love anko! It's so amazing, isn't it? I hope you are enjoying the weekend. Thinking of you!
My thoughts are simple: you two are wonderful and I love your videos!!! Thank you for such great content again and again!!!
Love this video, and the area. And loved that Shinichi had his hand on Satoshi shoulder, so adorable!!
You two are darling! Lovely and refreshing. I feel like im traveling with two foodies exploring awesome new foods! I'm subscribed :D
I got a lovely sense of a relaxed stroll, snacking on nostalgia (even tho im not japanese, never been to japan, nor had most of these treats).
You two cannot get any cute. Love you, love your vids! Everything always looks so good, I'm so jealous!
Yeah, you guys are just killing it in the cuteness sweepstakes. Always a pleasure to watch.
Oh, my gosh. Everything looks so good and tempting. However, the food that caught my eye the most was the black sesame ice cream. Thanks for talking us along with you. I enjoyed looking at all of the shops along the street. By the way, I liked the background music.
0:48 you guys look so cute! Thank you another great video... I am salivating!
I'm salivating too! gurglegurgledrool--LOL
Look how spotless the streets are. I love it..I would have NEVER thought to put salt and pepper on a pancake
My God, that Slab of giant Butter on that Pancake was so Satisfying looking, I WANT PANCAKES NOW Grrrr !!!♥️♥️♥️love you guys
sherry a they have that too in Seoul, but instead of pancakes they have scones.
Have you ever compared tofu makers from different areas of your ward? I remember one somewhere in Setagaya Ward that produced great tasting tofu products from fresh to fried daily. It might be interesting. Love your work. Cheers.
I love Sugamo!! It’s so rich in history and I feel like it’s a bit of a hidden gem for a lot of tourists. It feels like stepping back in time.
You are so lucky. You have all the food in Japan!
Thank you, I enjoy your adventures, family and Justin. We visited Japan last August and enjoyed it so much. My husband could not stop thanking me for taking him there. Watching your video brings back our fond memories of our travels there. Keep up the great work. Take Care on all your travels.

Yes on temple day there are lots of stalls out, but it is really crowded then, still worth it :)

You guys are too adorable! Great video! The pancakes - OMG - looks YUMMY!! And the ice cream - so interesting, I would love to try.
I really loved seeing this area. There are so many nice shops. Its still very much the mom and pop shops selling yummy goodies. The Siberia cake looked so divine!! Thanks for sharing this place!
Another thing we found interesting was monogrammed hashi with Asian horoscope tops. Good quality and good gifts for family members outside of Japan.
OMG! I am a grandma and I for sure want to go to Sugamo, so many delicious looking foods. And so many anko treats which really makes me happy, I would be in anko heaven. I also love the senbei. I love traditional Japanese sweets, this will be on my next list!

Hi guys! Your videos are presented very simply but fun to watch because you look like u really enjoy whatever you're doing. Satoshi looks much younger now that he's shaven. More power to you both! 👍🏽✌🏽😊
!!!! that butter dorayaki!!!! i wish i could try it so bad!!! ok. everything in this video looks like old-fashioned deliciousness.
You prolly dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my girlfriend for the last few months =)
@Silas Brooks yup, I have been watching on instaflixxer for since december myself =)
I've watched this video at least 5 times, and my mouth waters every time I watch it! That Butter Dorayaki looks DIVINE! Reminds us of Hong Kong where they have the Pineapple Bun served with a slab of butter, kind of similar concept.
Loved this video! And everything looked absolutely delicious!!!
Okay this Harajuku of Grandmas goes right to my visit list, because I want to go taste all that!! Thank to you and this mouthwatering video!
Another great show guys ! Everything looks delicious.
Another great video!!! Hello from the UK! Me and my boyfriend are planning to go Japan next year I’m so excited!!! Xx

I think it's great doing videos on not well known neighborhoods!
I love your blog, is informative and adventurous. I love the background music.
I love sesame flavour, so as soon as you mentioned the shop that has everything sesame I’ve added this to my list of places to go in Tokyo!
Thank you! I will be in Tokyo in August and cannot wait to go here and try these
August is hot as hell!
I'm from Missouri living in Arizona so I'm used to heat and humidity both.
Sugamo is something that I missed last summer in Tokyo... Something to look forward to next time for sure!

Ooh I wish I knew about this place before I went to Japan last year! Thanks for the video :)
Yes Please! I would definitely try the sesame soft serve since I can’t eat ice cream. Very nice!

Great tour as always! Love fresh senbei & all the mochi type snacks! 👍 ❤
Love the vid, sesame ice cream here in Australia is hard to come by but possible. From your number 1 fan in Australia :)
🙏🏼 Thank you for your amazing videos! Can’t wait to try all your suggestions when I visit Japan later this year.
This honesty looks better than harajuku foodwise! I feel like the foods in harajuku can be found outside of japan as well
We stayed in Sugamo across from the famous temple (line ups to wash statue) 4 times for 2 weeks each time because we LOVED the neighbourhood so much.
