i'm 2.5 years into playing guitar, just fnished writing my first song, ghosted the melody from another song just for practice in songwriting, its pretty dam good i think for first stab at it.......but here's my question, where can i find beats like you pulled up to get inspired for writing melodies and not just lyrics, i want to be singer songwriter, for my own pleasure
@@tinytero as you see I need to learn some theory lingo lol. So I used a song by Luke combs, changed the lyrics to "make it my own". But I love my lyrics so I want to take them and make a new chord progression and melody for use on my guitar. So on this video tutorial you played a beat, I need some inspiration. I've purchased a keyboard that has some built in ones but not liking them too much. I also bought a ditto looper to learn to use and incorporate as I progress in playing and writing my own songs to add more percussion and as background to my songs, even covers I play. Just wanted to know a good app or place to find a really good variety of beats like the one you played here. Am I making sense?
@@tammieschiller397 Ah basically all I did was type in the UA-cam search bar 'X artist type beat" X artist meaning a specific artist's sound that I'm searching for if that makes any sense. For example, if I search on UA-cam 'Bruno Mars type beat', I'll find a bunch of beats that will sound like Bruno Mars beats. So you can do that for the artists you feel most inspired from!
I post top lining mumbling on tik tok doesn’t always sound right but it’s what I enjoy
thanks, can you do more stuff related w this? maybe show a recording sesion nice video man

Nice! Are you talking about vocal melodies or guitar melodies?
