"What do we have for music?"
.... The record?
I don't like the tables under the beds. When my family is sleeping, you have no place to sit and drink coffee or to read a book.
I’m planning to put the chairs on each side the dresser thing so we can eat there and still have the bed down. I’m guessing it will be good height for plate to mouth shoveling🤣
I hate how minimalist the rooms are now
A lot of people in the comments seem to hate the new model, but I personally loved it. On my last visit I had stayed in All Star Sports not knowing that the rooms had not been updated. And as a New Yorker who is accustomed to living in sleek high rises I was honestly disgusted by how outdated and kinda dirty the room seemed (also ewww carpet). We stayed there for one night and immediately moved to All Star Movies the following day and what a refreshing change it was. That said, I agree a bit more theming would be nice to compliment the outside theming.
Agreed. I think all of this would look better if it was themed to the resort specifically
When you’re tired after a long day at the parks and sun, get back late , the room pizza and those rooms are heaven lol ! Has everything you need, especially on a budget . Great tour !
I agree 100%. Our family loves the value resorts. We spend most of our time in the parks, and can't justify spending the big $$$ to stay at the moderate or deluxe resorts. We love the whole atmosphere. Some people might say that the value resorts are louder than the other resorts, but in my mind, it is the sound of family having lots of fun.
@@davidl.4408 couldn’t have said it better ourselves 👌🏻 completely agree
I agree with you about the theming. Each hotel should have its own theming based on the name. Sports, movies, music etc. Thank you for the video sir. ✌🏾👍🏾💯
For most of the video, I thought this was a white hospital room.
This is very wonderful
Whoa…I stayed at All Star Sports when I was 5, I can’t wait to see how those refurbishments come along 15 years later!
Omg same!
But the last time I went to the all star hotels was in 2011
Well done Sir that is the proper room, again well done.
Actually, I like it.
I worked many years at All Star Movies, and the groups really were hard on the rooms.
So having no carpet is great. Faster for the rooms to be cleaned.
Of course , I miss the themes but more to enjoy out in the resort itself.
Bathroom missing the grab bar in the shower/ tub, that used to be in all the rooms.
My kid is crashing on those floors coming out of the shower.
Gawd, it looks so plain and white. Would it had killed them to have at least painted an accent wall a bright color??
No magic at all.
Thank you..I am in just blahhzvile looking at this and Movies was our fave resort. We are simple people but loved the theming...this is just depressing
We stayed there when it first opened!
No cups for coffee?
The chair has a black circle with a white dot for a record...aka..music... I don't like the muted design..I want MORE theme..
Nice video
I wish the Minnie, Mickey, and Donald panel lit from behind. But, MORE THAN ANYTHING, I need to complain even more about worst water pressure ever. Three mornings. Ugh. One night the sink faucet had a bunch of air in it and it was sputtering.
I did have fun finding places to put seven pillows.
Overall, functional, yes.
Their transportation was highly efficient. (Pop is buzzing too much with so many people, the skyliner, the buses...)
Was the shower narrow? It appeared narrow. Thank you for what you do.
Not too bad
I guess if im in the room I'll be sleeping anyway
Nice room but really plain compared to the past. Idk
Not very appealing
Looks great ! I have always stayed in Port Orleans but cannot wait to check this out :)
I just visited this resort last week. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at ASMR. Worth the money IMO. Would stay there again!
Thank you for the tour! We will be staying at All Star Movies this Christmas, (24th-27th to be exact) and it will be our first time staying since the remodels. I agree, I'm not too crazy about the sleek minimalist design choice but the rooms did desperately need a makeover. The room feels more like your regular Hilton Inn room or something. I adore the huey, dewey and lewey painting but wish they had left more of the colorful child like appeal to the room. Thanks again for the preview! Makes me even more excited to go.
I hate the remodel. I prefer the carpet (I dont like cold floors in the morning), the bed in the box is ugly (Maybe put the box inside the wall instead of attached to it.), and the dead white examiner room walls with little to no resort specific theming or even building specific theming. The need to move the chairs somewhere when taking the bed down is annoying as you gotta clutter up the room even more, the furniture that just seems to have been rolled in and pressed against the wall...
It all feels cheap and lazily done. It feels cluttered and just dead compared to how it felt before. Since EVERYTHING was themed.
Carpet, walls (Movie posters), coat hanger, bathroom, shower/tub walls, table and chairs, lights, and bed coverings. It felt like you were getting more for less. More Disney theming magic that you would get in a higher end resort yet at a value price...
Now it feels like (All Value) are dead, white, and generic..... No theming, white walls, and generic, lazy, and cheap furniture....
With all the damn money you spending this is the crappy room you and your family and friends would be staying in and with no microwave?. This is the worst, they should have left it like it was a couple of years ago, this remodel sucks.
I know a lot of people like the older more themed rooms, but this just feels so much more brighter and cleaner despite it being a little more generic.
No theming inside room pertaining to movies or anything really. Looks very generic and unoriginal. Disney could have done way better. That's very disappointing.
I went to All Star movies and been able to stay at the art of animation as well and let me just say im really going to miss those nice little Disney details 🥺🙏🏽
No microwave?
Can we request or bring a microwave
Can you request to have a microwave brought to your room? I didn't notice a microwave.
A minor detail, however next to the shower head is a retractable clothes line.
I agree with the themed rooms. Disney is missing the mark on this and why doesn't Mickey and minnie have their own resort ? Seriously! They finally got their own ride. People are spending thousands at Disney and most want the Disney theme. Theres always the many other resorts that offer totally different themes. Just my opinion. The gross pizza lol. Funny guy !
I love these new rooms! The old ones looked like a roadside motel if i’m being honest and didn’t really justify the price. These rooms feel like a deluxe room at a value resort price and that’s what I love about them. Also, they wont need to renovate the room as often since the design is timeless
I stayed at all stars music and i'm planning on staying at movies in January! Can't wait! Looks amazing!
Do all Rooms Look like this?
Looks like a hospital room. So bland! So disappointing!
Like anyone needs a 5 minute explanation of a chair. Get on with it.
As most of your time at WALT DISNEY WORLD is being spent in the parks as you just need a place to crash for the night and shower as the value resorts (All-Star Resorts (Movies, Music, and Sports), Pop Century, and Art of Animation) are the best places to stay at WDW.
After a full day at the parks I like to walk around on carpet, not hardwood floors. 😕 I miss the old rooms.
I LOVE ALL STAR MOVIES RESORT!
Looks like a dorm with a Mickey Mouse poster. And these cost how much now? I was so happy when these were built and I was able to take my family to an on property resort. Great memories, but these are an embarrassment.
I personally use 3 pillows..... so 9 is not crazy. Lol
Great content! I love the part about the pizza😂so true
Those rooms look like a tight squeeze. I can’t imagine having 2 small children and 2 adults sharing a room this small on vacation.
Your not going to disney for the hotel room, you're going for the parks lmao
Looks just like Pop which is a good thing! Disney has been making strides with storage in their new builds and remodels (PoP, All Stars, Coronado, Riviera)
For the shower/bathtub area I like that they included the little shelf. I prefer to bring and use my own toiletries.
Okay so it looks like IKEA furnishing that have been spray painted & linoleum floor. It has the charm of a $49/nite Motel 6. For the price Disney charges for even a “value” resort, it should have some magic.
If you could go back in time and visit any famous person from history who would it be?
I think it is a great use of space. I don't mind spending the extra to stay at a better resort (now that I can afford it!), but even when you come back to your room from the parks, you want to feel comfortable. Still won't get me back at one of them, but they are much better than what they were! I have to say, getting rid of any carpet......Love that.
You give the best room tours! No toilet art at the value resorts, so I guess I'm out😜
Yeah, the room is GAHBAGE!!!! LOL. They took away the movie theming. It's too plain as hell.
Has to be one of the worst MOTEL rooms I saw in a while. Not much room to get out of there during sleep time in an emergency.
Where is the call button for the nurse?
They made sure to add big pieces of furniture that can’t be rearranged so that no one snicks inn an aerobed for a 5th guest.
LARHHXIN You "beat" .. me to it.... 😎
MY GOD! Do any of these people realize that people with CHILDREN stay in these resorts and the shower and bathtub are really difficult to use if you have small children? The glass doors with metal railings? The small opening to reach through? The sink that is toddler head crunching level?! I have heard they are targeting kid free millennials and trying to push people with children into the moderates. MAYBE it IS a thing and not just CONSPIRACY?! Plus our stay at the POP was miserable...soooooooo loud! Sounded like people were throwing quarters on the floors and walls! Carpet served a purpose we weren’t aware of before hard floors. Ugh.
"Muted" a.k.a. Plain, boring, lacking.
Of the 8 pillows on the 1 bed.. 4 of them are for the drop down bed.
Not a fan. It honestly reminds me of a hospital room. 😔 The walls should have had a bit of color at least.
I agree, it looks sterile and not fun or Disney like at all.
Lol we each like at least three pillows! 🧤👍😊
There’s also two more pillows in the bottom cabinet lol
wait so its ok to theme the inside of a deluxe resort room with IP but the remodeled rooms at the cheaper all stars get leftover pop century room items? weird.
I very much prefer these refurbished rooms but I agree little details like themed lights would have been nice to differentiate between the 3.
Zero magic here, seen better theming at the Motel 6 chain?!! Even the few character instances are in an animation style that does not reflect the brand?!? Function perhaps but completely devoid of fun or amusement, not worth the extra hour in the park nor the price point. Just more Disney Depression for the coming year.
I was at music all star resorts
Is it just me or do the refurbished all-star movies rooms look just like the pop century rooms? 🤔 I agree, it would have been better if the rooms were actually themed to the area that the rooms are in.
Totally agree with you Tom as far as theme goes. That’s what was so special about each resort. What a disappointment.
There is also a pocket door for privacy between the sink area and the toilet/shower area, which has a full length mirror.
Wow it really looks diferent. It needs more themeing. I couldn't tell which resort it was.
