Or maybe make a remix at some point as the restoration progresses. I think James Coffey is from Fort Wayne, or at least the company he worked for when he recorded the songs for the I Love Toy Trains videos was based there
If I had to include a fourth verse to this tribute to the NYC, it'd go like this: "What's that, coming down the track? / It's the Empire State Express, / Decked in black and silver / And dressed to impress. / They were tall as iron giants / Cloaked in their steel shrouds / Like chariots from the future / Arriving on misty clouds."
We might need a parody or redux of this now that word has come down that the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society has acquired NYC 3001 and intend to restore her to operation, to go along with their rake of Empire State Express coaches
Shame most of the famous pieces of the New York Central (& Hudson River)Railroad are gone forever. The(Dreyfuss)Hudsons are gone, the Niagaras are gone too, as well as many old NYC steam locomotives. At least 2 Mohawks survived.
Well done and glad you captured the old footage at 1080 resolution!
They better play this when 3001 returns to steam!

The Mercury is in my opinion the most forgotten streamliner

Such a shame NYC scrapped a lot of their steam engines.
