@Mitsuo Tensei well is it not true? Kaijus are the best outs for Kash no debate. Kas players will always go for the back row first making evenly, raigeki, dark hole, along with all other spell/trap outs to the deck useless.
As a Labrynth player I can play around Evenly. When they declare BP: 1) Find a way to special Lady Labrynth to the field 2) Activate another trap and chain Lady to set EEV from deck 3) Either use Cooclock or play Temple of the Kings and activate it the same turn calling traps. All before the end of the BP.
@@tsvetomirsheev3882 Even if you don't open it Cooclock is searchable. Cooclock + Arianna/Lady/Big Welcome or Field Spell + Arianna + Normal Trap will get you to that point.
@@tsvetomirsheev3882 As long as the opponent doesn't open Evenly Labrynth's bread and butter turn 1 set up should deal with it. However that is still hypothetical.
@@taylorsnowX00 Labrynth is a good deck man but I just get the feeling have the wins it gets is cause people just dont read the damn cards LOL. You can outgrind them if you know where to use hts and you know their recursion cycle. Evenly is just one of the cards that can cripple them. I like the deck tho, still cant believe Lady was like 6,7 euro for months
Also, another problem with lava golem, against labyrnth, is its a level 8 fiend, so it makes big welcome in the gy live. So I would side it out against that deck.
At the Kissimmee regional, I gotta say I saw a lot more Nibs and Kaijus than Lava Golem. Personally did the golem and Nib, but I get why they were run as they were.
Real talk, I’m testing a theory that Evenly is best in main over Nib (in my branded build). Cuz it’s the best for catching each deck off guard since, pre siding, Kash won’t have iblee in to stop it, Lab won’t have judgment and Branded won’t have expulsion lock. Vs Nib which doesn’t hurt Kash if they don’t play 5+ summons, and doesn’t hurt branded or Lab
Branded can and arguably should be maining expulsion, just not the gimmick puppet in main. If you start battle expulsion can get you, that still doesn’t mean it isn’t worth trying out though. Good luck duelist!
Playing Labrynth, I main Sphere Mode. I find that if a board only puts up 1 or 2 monsters, then I am not really afraid of that. If it puts up 3 or more, then my Sphere Mode is live and I can break it. It doesn't conflict with Duality either. And I am usually not summoning my first turn anyway. Unless I have Arianna. But if I open traps then I don't care. But I do switch between Golem and Sphere Mode.
the worst are when a player know the ruiling(a) and purposely play it the wrong way and wait for their opponent to tell them they can't otherwise they continue playing
Nib is strongest if they play into it, I say if your deck loses to riseheart kaijus are better. Lava golem is okay, but I think if this is the format we are going to stay in, they can't lock the field zone so, I say bring mine back.
Does, Interrupted Kaiju Slumber work against Kashtira. I heard if my zones are locked it’s an “illegal activation” since I “can’t summon monster to any locked zones”. But slumber says “destroy as many monsters on the field as possible, then special summon in attack position, 2 “Kaiju” monsters with different names from your deck (1 to each side)….” Can you Explain how Slumber is an illegal activation when my zones are lock?? Doesn’t look to me to be an illegal activation when it first destroys everything before summoning, which will open my zones.
Note that both the field-wipe and kaiju summon are both mandatory parts of kaiju slumber. This means that in order to legally activate it, you must be able to destroy a monster on the field *and* special summon to your field at the moment of activation. However, if your zones were locked during the resolution of a chain where slumber is cl1, it would resolve like the below example as long as shangri-la is destroyed, freeing up a monster zone on your side. Opp controls two fusion monsters, has branded expulsion set, and ido the supreme magical force and fallen of albaz are in GY. You have interrupted kaiju slumber in hand and 2 different-named kaijus in deck. Building the Chain: Cl1 kaiju slumber Cl2 branded expulsion: tributing a fusion monster as cost. Resolving the chain: Cl2 expulsion: Ido is summoned to your field, albaz is summoned to their field. Cl1 slumber: All monsters on field are destroyed (ido's continuous effect immediately stops applying), then you summon one kaiju to each side of the field.

nib is just a constant threat against kashtiras imo, so runing it when they overextend just ruins their game, so the only good play they could go to is arise pass, which only kaiju can out easily (evenly match wouldnt do anything since most surely they will banish their backrow and keep arise heart just for the glorified macro cosmos).
This is the perspective of a Kashtira player. We want to use Kumongus cuz it's small, it's a 7 and we can also normal it if needed via birth. Otherwise dropping the 8 like gameciel is fine.

Upside is one ash will annihilate Branded, no need to worry about many board breakers (kurikara prolly best since it doesn’t give them a monster for in Red)
I would put Evenly in there, but I'll save it for the actual UCG Episode.
But I think we would love to see a video about board wipes (evenly, raigeki, dark hole, get out, witches strike, etc)
