    I have even heard of people who try to slip a card with the same sleeves as you into your deck. Then call a judge and have you DQ for having a foreign unlisted card in your deck. People will do anything to win regionals, yikes.

    @12:31 I appreciate you going over this.
    I had my first YCS in January. I always offer the cut to my opponents after I search. But, my opponent kept asking me to shuffle and do random things before my draws. Like, before a Swordsoul Mo Ye draw, he would always ask that I reshuffle and cut my deck by X amount of cards. And normally, before a draw like this wouldn't be an appropriate opportunity to shuffle IRL, especially since my opponent already cut my deck the last time i went in it. But, I obliged because I'm not cheating, so it really shouldn't matter, right? But, I had some shitty top decks lol, so it did make me feel some sort of way. Almost as if this guy was gaining a psychological advantage by forcing me to shuffle at inappropriate times.
    But now, after hearing this, I feel more assured that the guy was just trying to make sure he wasn't cheated. As opposed to just doing this to throw me off and troll. And it makes me feel more comfortable to request recuts and reshuffling from my opponent.
    Konami should really just allow players to sign a quick release form before a tournament so we could record these duels without problems.

    • @bubbagothandz7471
      @bubbagothandz7471 2 роки тому +1

      As far as I'm aware your opponent can ask to cut your deck anytime you activate a card that involves drawing

    • @Jcbryant123
      @Jcbryant123 2 роки тому +2

      @@bubbagothandz7471 I was under the impression that the opponent has this opportunity after you search.
      So your opponent cuts your deck at the start of the Duel. Then if I search they may cut after the search. But, if I'm about to draw, and the deck was properly cut and randomized in the last interaction, requesting me to cut again wouldn't normally be permitted.

    I like videos like these. They might be so repetitive for you but they are so helpful. Like if you made these a series I’d so watch it. I think it is so important to keep the game state true and random. And this really does encourage people to speak out and not be nervous or scared. Many just try to brush it off, cheating is never good.

    one time i had a really wierd situation at nationals, my table was choose to deck check, the judge take the decks like normal, then when he come back said to my op to get a new raigeki card since the one of the deck was a litle damege and they fouth would give a mark for stacking.But it comes the better part of this story, he told him he have 5 minutes to get a new one or would give a game loss but the judge when was talking, literally show me by aciddent is bottom card to me lol . My op absete said to the judge" you are showing my deck to my op"The judge "no im not" and keep it same narrative to get a new card.In End he made me watch what my op was using with out realizing and just screw over my op with no reason and give me a info for free.

    I’ve never had problems with this, but I can’t shuffle parallel to the table as a natural shuffling movement so I literally just look up and away while shuffling, making sure only the back of the cards are even within an area that I can see even if I was to look and nobody’s ever had a problem with me doing that.
    It sucks that you have to do like extra movements sometimes just to show that you’re not cheating and then I’ll even call a judge when somebody’s like showing their hand too much to kind of let that guy know to kill his bad habits like I’m not trying to cheat, but I clearly saw a card in his hand because his hand is like leaned over too much
