thank you Grubby for all your uploads, I am at the hospital waiting for my first child to be born, we have been here for almost 2 weeks now and we will be here almost 2 more until I am a father, been nice watching you play while I sit beside my wife and wait :)
@@zernex6629sometimes they are premature birth complications with the baby or mother. Depends on the country ofc but sometimes it’s safest for the mother to be in the hospital a bit earlier
Whoa! Four weeks pre-delivery? That's like, a trimester of a trimester! Jokes aside, pulling for you and your wife man. My wife gave birth twice with midwives, I've never experienced anything more harrowing in my life, and that was WITHOUT complications!! You take care of that wonderful lady, man, and Grubby will take care of you.
19:00 this fight Pitlord needed to be separate from the all hero control group. Too many times he was cleaving the back line only to get pulled off to attack a single target. That was the difference between last fight where he stayed focused on the back line and they melted.

Bro get a flashlight for your night time forest walks!!! Logan can have a light too. And there are really bright led flashlights meanwhile. It'll look like its daytime.
Meat wagons do atrociously low damage to the army, so you can only get some after you've strengthened your army enough to be confident you win the battle. Not to mention meat wagons are fragile and expensive so it's easy for the blade to snipe them with or without a potion of invul
Definitely felt like the orc could have done more but I think was worried about early army losses and figured the blade was better used trying to mitigate the loss of own troops and for sniping enemy units. Might have felt was in the lead since he had expo up earlier and didn't see counter expo in time so got cocky?
@@doommeter True he could be thinking that he was ahead in gold hence all he had to do was defend but at the same time it should be a given enemy also had an expo since main base goldmine expired.
There may have been some play with attacking the main however if the orc lost his expo the orc just loses. If you have the chance to end it right there why go for a smaller target? Orc was so occupied trying to defend their lifeline they really didn't do anything else. The main supplied the army but the army is sourced from the gold mined from the expo. Grub's gold mine in his main collapsed the orc would have no gold in his main either. Take their income and the game is over. Grub had some amazing micro and the army losses sustained from orc was too great! ! !
A good reason is also that his own expo was so close to the orcs expo. If grubby went north for his main, then the orc can take down grubbys expo and tp into his main to def (even sacrifiing 2-3 buildings for the orc would be worth it). You don't want to risk that scenario when your main has already dried up. Sticking to the orcs expo forced the orc to stay on the defense, which is good when you are confident that you won't loose a direct conflict.
Man is there a RTS but with no unit control? Like imagine wc3, you can control only workers, other units are produced and you can only send them attack by clicking 1 button and that's all. Like legit wc3 map but with this rule
Footmen Frenzy is a custom mode that basically takes the building out of it and 1 max hero. There's probably some custom mode that does that but can't think of a popular one. Apart from tower defense, but there's no hero.
Sounds like some of the old Tug-Of-War maps they used to have (still have?) in WC3. You would make your units and send them to the lane where they fight the opponent's units. As soon as they enter the lane, they become uncontrollable
I think the point is that the expansion is the main source of gold at that point of the game lose the expansion(income) and the game is over. If he took the main there would be some opportunity costs due to longer travel and other strategies for a base that has already served most of its purpose.
Grubby's army is far, far worse at clearing buildings than orc. He would spend 2 minutes in the main to take out key buildings and in that time the orc has leveled his expansion AND his main. Attacking the expo forces the orc to respond immediately because it's going to be their only source of gold once the main dries up
Question: why do players heal a unit even when there's no saving that unit? Isn't that just throwing away mana along with the soon-dead unit? I understand sometimes you want a unit to keep tanking while your other units do damage or move around or get some other objective. But what's the objective when Grubby coils his Fiend @5:34? His other units weren't really attacking anything they could kill and that coil could've helped secure the grunt kill.
fiend wasnt surrounded yet and there was a chance it could get out. mana regenerates and doesnt cost thr player money. if Grubby lost money on something then it would be a loss. small mana loss doesnt turn the tides for opponent much at all really
Only reason that grunt was close to dying was because of coiling the fiend so that Orc needed to hold the surround for longer. This forced a speed scroll and 2 heal salves whereas not coiling the fiend would mean that grunt simply walks away without speed scroll and only needs 1 heal salve
ok you done it, your coils are horrible 13:10 , I don't know why you chose to get 1/4 effective hp value from coils to secure some headhunter kill. then lose your pit. your mana management on dk is very questionable.
Mana usage is questionable, but aggressive coils are standard UD play 101. You don't know what you're talking about. Watch Happy, 120, Labyrinth, or any of your other favorite UDs and you'll see they open most fights with a coil-nova. It's very strong offensively to take out a unit immediately and almost always worth it. He lost the pitlord because he wasn't able to micro quite well enough to pass TP. Even losing the pit was relatively worth it. He got a headhunter, grunt, raider, and damaged most of the orc army (which has to spend money to regenerate) and forced their scroll of the beast all at the cost of a level 2 pitlord that turned level 3 only because of the kills.
@@thesustraveler still got a 1/4 effective hp coil. watch the last fight, that's what a 100% efficient coil does to a fight's out come. he won cuz he finally learned to save his coils for big heals.not use it on a 100 hp headhunter and end up with no mana.
@@caelhustlermahdi7713 You must have linked the wrong time stamp because there's no "1/4 effective hp value" coil that's happening in this fight. The HH goes from half health to nearly dead from the coil with pitlord finishing it off. That's what a level 2 coil does. And no, using coil offensively doesn't mean it has half value. That's a toddler's way of viewing the game, and not how ANY competitive UD player sees it. Hence they all use aggressive coils to start fights. Your point is correct in some scenarios, but you really picked like the worst example for it. The coil nova was good. It was EXACTLY what all the pro UDs would do in that scenario. The only difference is that Happy would be able to micro his pit's items better to survive.
Nova Coil is too op, nova should lose the ability to do Istant damage and become like bloodmage flamestrike with the ability to slow if u are hit, just like kel’thuzad in hots

Blade by himself is literally 1/3 to 1/2 the orc army dps on medium armor units. You lose your expo easily if blade isn't in the fight.
