Nice video, however your crimper should have an cutter on the other side, so basically an all in one tool for crimping. As a suggestion, invest in a cable tester as I found bad connectors or bad cable at times when I was building my HO Scale Free MO layout a few months ago. Very handy tool to invest in. Good video. Thank you for that tutorial. At one point you said Digitrax uses a standard 6 wire telephone cable but then at another point you said you can’t get a regular 6 wire telephone cable. Is that because the already applied telephone jacks are applied differently but it’s the same cable?
What I meant was telephone cable that has connectors already on it, or 4 conductor telephone cable. It has to be 6 conductor, and the plugs have to be wired the way I explained in the video.
