Every entry had a strong voice and should keep on singing. Most great singers who have had excellent careers did not win their first or second or tenth competition. Sing wherever you get a chance.
For anyone that isn't aware Luke stopped this series. People from the Top 24 were not submitting their entries for the second round and not all of the judges were comfortable giving criticism and they couldn't all get together to record at once. Luke said in a livestream it will resume in the fall after his tour with new judges and a revamped look. :)
WHAT? You totally should have said "yes" to that last girl! She had AMAZING control over her voice! She hit those high notes in the chorus with such ease and she was very pleasant to listen to.
please keep making these. its one of my favorite series and i just watched all of them straight through only to find out that you guys stopped filming :(
So your saying these people put in these pretty good entries, risked embarassment in the hope of $100 and a collab and no one got it cos youdidnt finish series?! Doesnt seem fair to me..
I startred watching these vids yesterday and can't believe there isn't a winner or even worse, there isn't more episodes! So unfair for the contestants.
ok so i looked up blairs twitter and this is what she said-- "i'm getting a lot of questions about sawyer and just wanted to let you know we are no longer together but i have the utmost respect for him."
Luke, Ingrid, & Joey have just crushed my dreams! I'm a twelve year old & have dreams of becoming an actress & just saying that to the girl at the end makes me think I'll NEVER have my dream come true.
Jason was supposed to be the original announcer, but he was still in Canada or was it Idaho...one of the 2 because he stayed there longer after a wedding that Luke also went to. So, when they started filming UA-cam's voice Jason wasn't there to help out so Sawyer filled in for him until he got back. No reason for people to freak out and blow it out of proportion.
Wrong. Jason is the guy who Sawyer was filling in for. Jason was out of town during the initial filming of the first few episodes. Just to clear that up. The break up has nothing to do with anything related to this video.
I agree with you 100% about the feedback, but the competition isn't really about potential, it's about someone who's serious about singing and wants to potentially start something. Well, that was my interpretation anyway. I did think she was really good though, but I feel like her voice will get much better and stronger in a few years time.
I know they said they would be taking a break for a little while because their lives were getting so busy with traveling to London and everything. I honestly have no idea why they're picking over 24 entries but if you want to see more about why they're taking a break I believe its on one of lukes recent vlogs
I was the last person (Katie) and I just really want to say thank you so much for holding this competition! It's definitely an amazing thing, that people like me could enter this and have a chance to gain more experience. Even though I wasn't voted to the next round, thanks a bunch everyone for the opportunity :)
Dear everyone, You don't need experience singing to be able to judge whether or not someone has an enjoyable voice to listen to. Sincerely, someone with common sense.
