A very relaxing time on the Island during rainy season and more cool places to check out! Yeah.
I live about 4 hours drive from koh Chang..I should be there in a few weeks for a little holiday….i ride a big touring bike…. This is my favorite time to travel around Thailand.. like you said quite.. green.. and prices are lower…if it rains… I just throw my hands in the air and say… looks like I’ll book another day… lol… no problem…

I remeber well when that 15 palms opened in year 99, lived next to it in bungalows. That time they had leafroof and in the night was stirm and couple of coconuts came thru te ceiling. They had to start fixing just when they opened it. Went almost every morning having breakfast there and they had good seafood pizza also.
Good morning, Chuck & Paige! I enjoy the peaceful serenity of "quiet" too. My wheelhouse you might say. Had enough of the hustle and bustle, partying lifestyle when I was younger. Got it all out of my system; went into serious mode, got married and started a family. Food looks amazing, beautiful location! Good fortune and health, continued safe travels.
Dave is such a good fella love eating at his spot, everytime we are on the island he's the second stop.

Koh Chang is my favorite beach resort less crowds then Phuket and Koh Samui, I liked Hua Hinn as well, love Krabi but Koh Chang is more convenient for us. I ben going to Koh Chang since 2006 when it mostly backpackers and White Sand Beach is has since grew. In 2007 my wife and I purchased a villa on the island and it was finally built in 2011. We are based in Khon Kaen and also have a home in Kranuan which is currently being rebuilt from tp to bottom. I also do spend a lot of time in the States and going back in July but will return to Thailand at end of November. Unfortunately November through February our villa is rented during high season of course so will not be able to go back to Koh Chang till March

Disappointing thing with Koh Chang is the amount of graffiti around the island.
Why doesn’t any one clean it up ?
I once saw a farang graffiti a whole wall in broad daylight.
