I cannot stress how many juvs/adols just stand in the open not paying attention, calling or run straight to players and complain about dying... dont go to open areas unless you are fast sub/adult or with a grown group. Trust no one, and never stand/lay in the open, you will die 90% of the time you are seen. I also love seeing your map of places to avoid! Its very different from one id make myself from my encounters! Wonderful job!
Yea I feel like if you get KOS consistently its more on the player. I've probably been KOS a couple of times as a juvi. And thanks! I tried to make different maps that could possibly help new players.
Not enough guides for new players moving from Panjura to Gondwa. It can be tough learning where to find fresh water. I know I struggled with it initially. Well done and much respect to you!
@@thebeast6833 You mean the one detached from the main island? Or just the area south of the main island? The best area in my opinion is the areas where the quest items are close together because the less you have to travel the less you're exposed to other people. At the end too you're also fighting against other Juvi so if you don't have a good "route" for collecting things you might have to fight others for it.
One thing stupid about this game is having experience penalties for juvenile players. Everyone kills you as a juvenile. Sometimes multiple times back to back.
In my experience growing several dinosaurs, the Rex apex is not the one to fear. As long as you watch your surroundings and aren't playing a really slow dinosaur yourself, a huge Rex should NEVER sneak up on you and kill you. The real danger, in my opinion, are the Utahraptors on modded servers and mid-sized adult carnivores like Allosaurus. They are the primary thing that are going to kill you as a new player because they can easily catch you if they want to. It cannot be stressed enough to avoid areas where they tend to go which are the same areas the Apexes go, because once they see you, you are dead. Also Deinosuchus and Sarcosuchus WILL kill you if you drink from the popular water drinking spots. You might want to consider growing near isolated lakes and rivers.
I tend to stick around triad falls, rarely do I see any other dinos. I've recent switched to SM and Birchwoods as a route but the amount of sarcos I see is nuts and sarco players tend to be super aggressive, same for megalania players.
I like playing Gondwa bc it has very pretty biomes, also there are very tiny fresh water spots on the map, sometimes even not marked, usually somewhere in the middle of biome. Some are hiden under rocks too. I also got tricked few times, I was running to the blue spot on the map just to learn it's a bunch of rocks that are not even blue. There are nice people as well, when I was playing as mega, there was small flying dino in green valley that was bringing me fish without me asking for it and was so friendly
Burned forest has become recently a yellow danger zone to. I have noticed a lot more traffic in and out because it’s a great questing area with lots of easy quests. But due to the lack of food and water and how far northeast it is it’s not a spot you will see any large creatures especially Apexes and White Cliff is a pretty popular spot for semi aquatics or amphibious dinosaurs like Iggy and Lambeo which can swim in the ocean close to shore from triad falls
Don't underestimate SM (Marsh) there are usually a lot of sarcos there. It's a Swamp so it makes sense. At the end of the day, play smart and don't get mad. Yeah it sucks when a carnivore kills your baby dino but that's the way of nature, easy targets get picked off. Once you become a sub adult your size will deter a lot of threats but it does make you more appealing to adults.
I only strggle to grow on some servers cuz questin in some areas is a bit harder, and because am extremely good at hiding, but in the sense that i can ear almost any dino that is at a far safe distance for me and still hide till i dont ear it, so thats the reason i take long... the reward is growing any dino without ever confronting anyone. Ive found some spots for some dinos, explore and try to find areas with tiny lakes, those dont show in the map and people will ignore the area, for hervibores its easier because berry bushes are more common but or carnivores is a bit more tricky, basically because you need a corpse to feed near a source of water.
I’m trying to play the new map and the flying dinosaur but they don’t show up in multiplayer mode but they do in single player ones am i missing something im on PS5
I play the map, its fun but it gets frustrating tho, due to being jump on alot but that doesn't make me give up, I did went into like 3 groups tho and all three of them was very kind and help me out alot to grow my suco. I have to be careful tho, I normally hide when I see a another player
I've been surviving alot as a sucho, from near deaths, I say this for new players if u play as a aquatic creature like Suchos or whatever, go into the water if it is a non aquatic dino and run away from danger
Realistically as a Sucho main myself, if you are dying a lot, you are doing something wrong. Sucho can outrun most apexes on land, and can run into water or out of water to escape land/water dinos. I have survived many mixpacks as a solo Sucho. I have even killed a few in a mixpack as I've become more experienced playing the Sucho. Imo, Suchos landspeed/stamina should probably be nerfed lol but that's imo.
production quality on this video was great and the info was incredibly helpful, my only reccomendation for next time is write a script at least as a baseline, i felt like there was a lot of ums and pauses that made this a little hard to follow if i wasnt paying 100% attention. A little structure goes a long way, otherwise thanks for the video! Edit: Even just note points to touch on would help, doesnt have to be a full script
Woah, thanks for the feedback! I thought I had a script in my head but then it didn't pan out how I thought it would go. I'll have to write it out and have it handy for the future videos. Thanks again!
My guide is don’t trust anyone unless u can fight back or have no other option and start with carnivore cause for the love of god plants are so spread out and why doe POT not have a scent mechanic

@@Jagerdelights Hey I have a question, is the desert area at the bottom middle of the map with a lake a good place for juveniles?

Yea I think they should reduce the growth loss or not have any loss at all as a juvi.

I made 10 dinos, I quest just until I fill my rested then on to the next. The longer you stay on with one dino a better chance death finds you.

Hmmmm burned forest isn't too bad since its kinda near hotsprings. Maybe I should check that place out.

Not enough water spots. They need a few small sources at map outskirts otherwise it makes growing spinos ect very difficult.
Yea I'm having a slower time growing my croc. But it seems like questing on the outskirts is the way to go.

There's also a lot of small watering holes around the map
I love playing solo but protecting small dinos of my kind like 3 horned or t rex etc.

Pebble area needs water too like red island which isn't a good area unless your a meg. Otherwise big spinos and Crocs will kill you.
Rainbow hills and zone next to it is great solo grow

there is also a smal lake in the south of Young Grove.
Oh I never realized that. Shows how much I venture there lol
I personally rhink they should make a map purely for the babies to grow then once they have grown, go into panjura or gondwa
There are spots thats better for babies because its tight areas. I would veture around to see which one you like.
I quest In spino Mt side of the map
Why I'm can't play in gondwa map?
Are there critters in savanaahs?
Yes there are. A lot of people fight for it tho. I'd go for the washed up sharks in savanaah since not too many know about them.
I try to help people grow but they never join my group. It’s strange
Same here! I think people are weary of the intentions of others. I've had people try to kill me after they invited me so I understand.
Yup it's fear. When you come over to group the dino is intimidating.
I've gotten invited to Groups just for them to kill me so I don't do it anymore
I wish someone..anyone would show where the caves are in gondwa.
I found some in Hoodoo Expanse on the beach next to the ocean
Does anyone know where death caps are in gondwa?
They differ by the location. There is a nice map that can show you where all the resources are.
Jus got this game and my fav dino is the anky, so i tried playing it..... People see a baby anky and just cant help themselves lmfao
Keep on grinding! I think my anky is almost an adult. But if I got 2 bars to adult solo you can get anything to adult 🤣
