Players think that they have to have the "God Roll" in order to be competitive, but from someone who understands off meta better than anyone, you can learn a lot and have a lot of fun giving up your Rose or your BxR to focus on the basics of your Hunter, Warlock, or Titan.

Will you be allowing yourself to spend Strange Coins? If its unfair you can restrict yourself to just buying the Weapon or Armor engrams from Xur.

"stupid enough to keep trying" is how I get to the lighthouse without any friends or streamers carrying me. it is a brutal painful experience that keeps me on the edge of my seat.

@@Rasmus-lp9bz if you ever want a shot at flawless go on weekends that offer a crappy adept weapon, 2 of my 4 flawlesses came from the last weekend of the bow and the glaive, so go for weapons that people could care less about.

That aside Wastelander really failed you in that first match... Like that last melee kill you got before it ended on the Hunter? I have NO IDEA HOW you didn't one shot him within that literal HUGGING distance... NO idea W T F that was about...
For real playing Titan is already a challenge, it'd be insane difficulty playing comp from start...

@@MakabeMatsuri prismatic is certainly a top pvp subclass with the right build, but doesn't apply here since the whole challenge is about climbing ranks with a new character.
When I mentioned Bastion in my last comment I meant the aspect which yeah includes Void, I just meant it as an attack to people who use Bastion on Void lol
This is a proof is in the pudding series. It shows that gear isn’t what makes a good player; skill does. He mopped up with no level gear, and proceeded to get better over time.
Pudding is a terrible place to store proof. It gets all soggy 🫤

I've always been afraid to jump into PvP, worrying that I wouldn't make it anywhere without good gear, but this settles a lot of my fears, even if PvP has never really been my forte in games.
Can I just say I absolutely love this series, its like a destiny sitcom with headshots 10 out of 10 would recommend. Thank you for your content

Funny enough i used to do this every season on all 3 characters. I don't use a fresh account because i use everything on my main account. Id basically transfer everything into my vault, delete the creator and do the entire campaigns for the character. As im going through the campaigns im Basically getting updated power level armor. Instead of me just getting base armor i woukd get armor with like 60 more points. So like 1800 reset armor would turn into 1850-1860 armor for my character so i would have a little bit of a head start with Power level. Plus all my god rolls i can just infuse the 1860 blue armor with my god roll 1800.

The funny thing is that I recently came into the position of a new account and the account had barely anything like one exotic weapon, barely any exotic armors, and I was so afraid I wasn't gonna be able to level up quick enough BUT I've been following along with your video and honestly it's done wonders I managed to make it to 1940 in less than a day so this has been extremely informative

If you do the first mission where you get prismatic on a f2p account and you leave the game after unlocking prismatic you can be no light

I watch a fair amount of destiny UA-camrs, but this series is always such a highlight. Never not excited to see a new entry
They changed the kiosk to keep up with the no legend shard prices and they wound up taking a lot off of the "legacy legendaries" from that section of the kiosk, so felwinters should be abt 75k glimmer

hey the pvp looks actually fun, is there like any limits with the dlcs? Or can I just download the free destiny 2 and enjoy pvp? Awesome series, really made me wanna download the game :-)
if all you're into is pvp mostly, free to play will be fine. there are a lot of cool guns you won't have access to, but there's still tons of really strong guns that you can use. additionally, now the Stasis subclass is free for all players to use if you do the quest, which used to require a DLC. the DLCs mostly just give you PvE content, certain guns/armor pieces, and two subclasses called Strand and Prismatic. everything you've seen him use in this series has been free content except the exotic pants he briefly used.
This is not just new-light, this is a non-light last city citizen that stole a guardian’s identity.

I'm no pvp god, but when I end up in a 1v3, get a kill and a 2nd weak only to die and spectate my two teammates just crouch aiming through a doorway half the map away (with no one even near them), it hurts :P

No hate at all cuz this is no small feat, you a baller, and getting it on warlock last season was awesome to see, but I’d love to see if you could pull this off on Titan
So when you delete a character do you delete all the armor you collected on that character as well? I mean if you’re truly going to start from scratch then all those god roll exotic armor pieces and legendary armor should go too right? Just saying.
