How do you eliminate the space that comes out right away though, the left side of the printed label?

You put it on chain print then hit escape when it asks to feed, then erase your word and put your next word in and print that. Just keep hitting escape when it asks to feed and then cut at the end

So whats the point then?
Bottom line:
The manufacturers have figured out a way to use double the tape needed on every single print. They could put the cutter on the far outside edge of the case if they wanted to. Its a scam, like printer ink.
