Man I think you're the only person that can play the career mode without struggling. As of today I could only complete one B737 Charter Private Service Mission, the game always crashes or simply doesn't give me any further instructions to go on.
Sir I flew from Polk County to Tampa General with my grandson and thankfully our flight seemed less tumultuous than your flight looked. Great beginnings!!
I enjoy watching your excitement when playing. I can see that you are heading towards helicopters. You seem to love the challenge, and you succeed. Nice flying!
I got to say, for a beginner Trevor is already Wiping that helicopter! Good save on your Turbine Engine Certification landing. That was VERY close to being bad. I was on the edge of my seat watching that landing.
You're hurrying to much, you are jerky with it and it really bites you back. When you want to get slower, just decrease collective slowly and try to maintain altitude...but expect to take at least a few seconds...don't expect it to stop in like 2 seconds. Helis are challenging...but beautiful. Also I'm really glad you took this route too
For fixed wing I've been using the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo for some time now, very happy with them. For rudder pedals I was using the Thrustmaster t-16000m, but upgraded to the Thrustmaster TPR pedals. For rotorcraft I've decided to go with Virpil helicopter controls, just waiting for the delivery now.
Been anticipating for the next helicopter video. Every video of these series is amazing but personally i look forward watching your helicopter series more!!
You should definitely consider an eye tracker Trevor. I recently bought the Tobii Eye Tracker 5, and it's an absolute game-changer for FS2024. I don't use the eye tracking functionality in FS2024, just the head tracking, but it makes a tremendous difference! You won't regret it. I've really been enjoying your FS series of videos. Thanks for all your efforts. Stay safe man and keep up the great work.
Been watching MultiShopMatt. When you start really trying to do rescue stuff and really anything other than flying. There are so many bugs that make it miserable. It is wild that your crew cannot even tell you how to line up on your target. And nothing against third person, but it should be doable without going third person. Also, once the assists go off, It is a whole different story. I suggest turning those off as quickly as you can because you don't want to learn with the assists.
Not sure about in MSFS, but you do get some IR mounts that can be used to track your head position, I think there are even some webcam addons that can do it without the IR tracking points. Loving this Series
You talk about the helicopter speed being tough to counter and slow down. I feel you constantly forget with the choppers that when flying at speed while tilted forward you simply need to tilt backwards to provide reverse force to slow down more efficiently. Also, if your flight stick has the thumbstick on the top of it you can set that little top stick as your look instead of the mouse
When I do search and rescue missions if I can't find the target, just pause the game and use the free cam option to pan the area. You'll be able to see the orange smoke this way. Im sure this will help a few of you to locate targets because it is a challenge.
Really enjoy the video, a tip is that you acctually dont have to land at hold shorts in a helicopter. You have gotten very good at manuvering that helicopter and I was wondering if you play without or with assits because it looks very good😀 Love to see the helicooter vids. Keep up the good work👑
Well, although not intentional you had a couple of nice VRS recoveries, lower than most would feel comfortable with but saved them in the end. I have not started helos yet in career, just been grinding in the Freight world, but I am kind of excited to give this a test. Also, note for you, the PC-12 is fantastic for cargo in career but since they have not fixed the oxygen and pressurization issues in career mode for the PC-12 you have to stay below 18k FT for your flights or you will die. Good thing though, the PC-12 actually performs really well at the 15-17.5 ALT range. You have plenty of fuel for all the missions career offer for cargo in the PC-12 and the performance is really nice. Definitely one of my favorite A/C to fly in 2024. I hope they fix the oxygen issue soon because I purchased one for VIP but can't use it yet due to that as well as no missions being built yet in the VIP charter side for the PC-12.
From my experience real cyclics are actually a little stiff. But they become incredibly easy (almost 0 resistance) when you are holding the trim button
Vr is the best with the helis. Especially if you plan on doing any rigging. In the airbus if you look to the right and down there’s a little flap you can lift up that has a window which allows the pilot to see his longline and hook. I’m not sure on how hard it would be in non vr because you have to look at the window and swap up to your vertical speed gauges. Anyways if you get a cheap vr headset like the hp reverb g2 you are able to look at it on vr and see it all more clearly which also give you depth perception. Not to mention the headset tracks your head so it you lean forward you can see out of the window a lot clearer
Could you provide the link to your new joystick/throttle combo? I've been searching for the HOTAS MSFS combo with the joystick on the left side, but not having any luck.
Some of these missions you have to land a ways away where it's clear and the get out and walk/run to them it's easier then trying to land right at them
I have been stuck watching all of your videos. Big fan of these simulator games and of you playing them. Purchased Gas station simulator because of you and it was pretty awesome. Wait for ambulance Sim to come out now. Unfortunately cant play the demo i have a PS5.
Trevor you can remove the detent in the throttle by opening it up and using hot glue to fill in the hole. You can find a good few tutorials on how to do it
Get the logitech x56 hotas the stick uncrews from the base for storage but thats also how you change the spring it also comes with 3 spring strengths or no spring
before any helicopter flight you have to hover first. not just take off. same for landing thats why you are having problems. hover before you depart and before you land
That’s why pilots have rear crew coz they can’t see And could you please use the pedals in the turns helps turn waaay easier. The helicopter hoisting is my day job and so epic to see it on your series and to awesome to see NZ is also the place your get turbine rating.
Fantastic videos Trev looking to the water park in planet coaster Trev and if and when u do the park can u show us que topia to see if anyone has done anything else to it
Trev I would look into the turtle beach velocityone flight deck or the thrustmaster hotas warthog, I'm not sure if these 2 have the same issue with the throttle yours does
I tried flying helicopters on the Xbox controller and it was the worst feeling. I can fly helicopters in battlefield just feet above the ground no problem. Even with assists on I struggled. I’ll stick to flying my 737 in career mode
Right now the game is not correctly programmed for helicopters, there is a lot that needs to be changed with missions. But then again the hole mission system in the game is broken regardless if you are in a plane or helicopter.
3:28 “I didn’t know Boeing made helicopters” the ai voice *just* said airbus trevor
🤣🤣🤣i was like, did i hear him correctly???
I was exactly the same lol
I was about to say this exact comment, luckily you already did.
I HAD TO REPLAY THE VIDEO HAHA
Easily my favorite series on yt rn
3:28. I didn’t know Boeing made helicopters”- Trev.
5 seconds earlier the ai said it was airbus 😂😂
Man I think you're the only person that can play the career mode without struggling. As of today I could only complete one B737 Charter Private Service Mission, the game always crashes or simply doesn't give me any further instructions to go on.
It’s the same with me
Yall need some better pcs
Someone has no idea what the talking about 😂 its not a pc thing the game is just broken @@Tommy-ye6us
no charter VIP missions pop up for me.
I have had a significant number of issues, UA-cam is edited... basically a highlight reel man haha
16:31 Hey VSauce, Michael here!
wauw i feel so blessed with all those flight sim videos! thanks trev i think i can speak for a lot of us thanks!
Sir I flew from Polk County to Tampa General with my grandson and thankfully our flight seemed less tumultuous than your flight looked. Great beginnings!!

Nice flying!

Time to get the TrackIR!

Love this series Trevor keep posting MSFS vids

Always wanted to do these types of missions but could never learn the helicopter, glad I'm able to see someone do them.
Thanks for fixing the playlist!😍
@24:17 Trev when he heard Kevin's female voice, trying to think of something to say that won't get him banned by UA-cam. 🤣
Instructor: This is an Airbus helicopter. 2:59
Trev: Didn't know Boeing made helicopters. 3:28
🤣🤣
Great series Trev. Proves how patient you truly are considering the insane number of glitches in career mode.
Been anticipating for the next helicopter video. Every video of these series is amazing but personally i look forward watching your helicopter series more!!
19:36 hey Trev I’m a SAR member in Colorado still rockin a hero 4, any chance I could take you up on that?
Squirrel has a nice flight simulator setup

Eye tracker will be a game changer Trev. Best of luck!! Here’s to hoping you get lucky with upcoming S&R missions. A lot of them are impossible atm! 😬
Loving these Sim videos ❤

We are so blessed with this series
When slowing down, pullback on the cyclic and lower the collective to stop from gaining altitude.
love your vids trev. Keep up the amazing work.

To glide nicely down, drop collective and pull cyclic back, at the rate of glide. Slowly revert both as you get closer to the ground.
Loving the flight sim vids keep it up👊🏻
Thanks for uploading videos
11:40- *that’s what she said*
The search and rescue is awesome
great vid Martin keep it up

Loving it, Thanks Trevor.
Great job with ur jokes trev😂😂
been loving the flight stuff but also wondering when youll get back in to the kitchen at between the buns haha
bro when you gonna play this on your quest 3? so much more immersive!
Could you provide the link to your new joystick/throttle combo? I've been searching for the HOTAS MSFS combo with the joystick on the left side, but not having any luck.
Buy a virpil or winding setup and you can configure it however you want. Also Komodo simulations make horas setups specifically for helis
“Sick-lick” 😅
Bro means cyclic 😂
Videos is very very awesome very very entertaining
Boeing actually made CH47 Helicopter and they also collaborated with Bell and made a V22 OSPREY
Originally, the chinook was designed by vertol. Not boeing.. boeing took over vertol. Hence, boeing vertol.
Trevor you can remove the detent in the throttle by opening it up and using hot glue to fill in the hole. You can find a good few tutorials on how to do it
I always wondered why the heli brake is in that position I mean if you touch that during flight you are gone, it’s a little bit dangerous 😂
Another great video once again
nice to know you have to taxi a helo. Can't be to concerned about rescuing the person
I thought that was a bit strange. Just take off where you are. But I know nothing. 😅.
Gotta slow down in a helicopter much less forgiving than an airplane!
Get the logitech x56 hotas the stick uncrews from the base for storage but thats also how you change the spring it also comes with 3 spring strengths or no spring
TrackIR would be a great next buy. It's as big a step up as going from keyboard to hotas ; )
Your uncle would be proud!
This screenshot of your episode looks like the Stallone film “Cliffhanger!”
Velocity 1 flight stick and pedals are great
This is dead-on complex yet funny achievements on MSFS, i haven't played them yet, but i will discover Serach & Rescue later.
“I’ll be taking care of you during our flight to mt Hotham” it actually says m t Hotham instead of mount Hotham which is the actual name lmao
part 19 please love you so much man
Cyclic lever it puts pitch in the blades in cycles allowing for 360 movement
before any helicopter flight you have to hover first. not just take off. same for landing thats why you are having problems. hover before you depart and before you land

The helicopter hoisting is my day job and so epic to see it on your series and to awesome to see NZ is also the place your get turbine rating.
I think Trev is using a twist function on his stick.
Great video
Next episode Trev has a full flight sim setup
"sometimes a floppy stick will do the job better than a stiff stick" -trevor 2025

Fantastic videos Trev looking to the water park in planet coaster Trev and if and when u do the park can u show us que topia to see if anyone has done anything else to it
Trev I would look into the turtle beach velocityone flight deck or the thrustmaster hotas warthog, I'm not sure if these 2 have the same issue with the throttle yours does
I would highly recommend the Logitech X56 I have it and it is so good with a removable spring.
Stupid question but why would you not want your flight stick to spring back to center nor to have any resistance?
8:22 What do you mean by that, lol
Lmaooooo
Ur the only person I no that has a choppa licence. What a nightmare certificate to get
Just hover over the hold short, you don't have to land.
Time to take on helicopters!
Miss the fast food simulator!🙁
Need more fast food sim!
I wish my stick was that floppy.
DO SAR with a VR....... it will change your life hahahaha
I tried flying helicopters on the Xbox controller and it was the worst feeling. I can fly helicopters in battlefield just feet above the ground no problem. Even with assists on I struggled. I’ll stick to flying my 737 in career mode
15:38 Australia that’s where I live
Will u be bringing back landing challenges that r outside of the career mode for example
Right now the game is not correctly programmed for helicopters, there is a lot that needs to be changed with missions.
But then again the hole mission system in the game is broken regardless if you are in a plane or helicopter.
Please, please, please do some flying in Alaska.
It the pitch of blades in helicopter to get ya moving fast airspeed
Were u order that spring at ???
Trevor, please play Banner lords next.
2 mins after uploads 👌🏻
Are you near parklands Florida?
I’d love to do this but can’t start the training bc the walk around is glitched
Woo rotorcraft!!! Comment for the algo
Airbus is nice and all, but Bell (407) is so much better. Also, is FS24 VR compatible? It may help you
Trever the the helicopter you are flying is a airbus h125
8:22 AYOOOOOO
any new simulators coming up?
Get track ir pro 5 you can look with your head
