I would totally love a cleaner. Been cleaning since 8, I’m tired. I don’t mind grocery shopping,.. it’s the cooking part I hate. I want a chef.

This right here is so me. Idk why people don’t want to make their lives easier.
When I was in college I had a housekeeper come and clean my apartment. I was working 50 plus hours a week and going to school full time so it was a blessing to have a person come in and take that off my plate. I also paid my mom to do my laundry. It was such a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I got so much slack from people and other family members but I didn’t care it improved my quality of life.
If you can afford to outsource task and it brings you joy to do so or frees you up to be able to focus on things you need to focus on and relieves stress do it without guilt.
People are shamed against doing things that seem "rich". It is thought to make you lazy, ungrateful etc blah blah blah. Being overworked is tiresome. Most relationships end because they don't outsource enough. When you pay others to do most of this stuff life is more enjoyable and you make more money, too cause you aren't wasting time with so many unenjoyable tasks.
I needed this! I live in a small studio apartment and was debating with myself whether I should get a house keeper and how often. I am so tired of cooking, cleaning, and steaming my nurse's uniforms. I recently started paying for meal prep services and it's been amazing! Yes to all of this!❤

@@5pctLowBattery I use a local meal prep service in my town. I go online, put in my order and pick it up the next day. The food isn't packaged like a frozen dinner and I like that. I purchase 8 meals at a time and they last me for about a week. Google meal prep services in your area and try them out.

I live in Asia and getting help is alot cheaper here. I pay for a house cleaner once a week and I send my clothes for ironing to a man who picks up my laundry. I am married, we do not have children. But like you, i started doing chores at a very young age (at 8) and never stopped until just recently (i am 43). I do cook with my husband but the rest, I outsource. I work a 9-5 and rather spend my time improving myself in other ways (facials, workouts, vacation, learn how to grow a business etc)

I'm with our auntie on the grocery delivery. I can't be bothered anymore. And once I organize my apartment, I'm going to be paying for housekeeping service also about once a month to do the bulk of my heavy lifting. I really, really just need to be focusing on other things that will make life so much less stressful.
